Hello. This is my third FAQ/Walkthrough. I hope you enjoy it. This
FAQ/Walkthrough has been made for the SNES video game Knights of the
Round. It is an Action game that is very fun to play and very addictive.
There are many secrets in it and I haven't even figured them all out,
so, hold on and enjoy the ride!

|Tips |

Percival, the strongest player in the game, can run and then do a super
strong attack if you press the directional pad twice to the left or
right, hold, and then press the attack button.
If you want to gain levels faster, whenever a big treasure chest, big
tea table thing, or big food shows up, hit it once or twice. This will
break it up into 3-6 pieces which you can then collect with a greater
overall point average.
Using your M Crush takes away from your life, so use it carefully or you
will die quickly. Although it is very handy to get out of tight
situations.....*hint hint*.....
In the last two levels there are barrels containing staffs that when
touched gives you an automatic level up. They can only be used once
though. :(
Red crystal balls on pedestals kill all enemies within the vicinity
(screen) and give you 800 points plus the point value of the enemies you
killed.
Big treasure chests: Silver coins give you: 500
Gold coins give you : 800

|Lancelot |

|Lancelot is the hardest player to use even though he is the fastest. |
|He is the weakest of the three, which is kinda' bad, but he can swipe |
|twice if he attacks in mid-air, and is nice if you know how to handle |
|him. |

------------------------------------------------------------------------
|Arthur |
------------------------------------------------------------------------
|Arthur is kind of even with Percival in easiness to use, (Although I |
|personally like Percival best. :) ) He has an Ok jump attack, and is |
|very well balanced in all areas. The best choice for beginners. |

|Percival |
------------------------------------------------------------------------
|Percival is pretty easy to use. He is the strongest but slowest of the|
|three, but his power makes up for the speed difference because he can |
|hack through the enemies like nothing else. His jump attack happens |
|when he lands on the ground. He is the best player to use in my |
|opinion. |

Up = Move up on the screen
Down = Move down on the screen
Left = Move left on the screen
Right = Move right on the screen
A = M Crush, a special move which takes away some of your life.
B = Jump
Y = Attack
X = Defend
L = Nothing
R = Nothing
Start = Pause the game
Now, those were the defaults. The best setup would be:
For a regular SNES system:
A = Attack
B = Jump
Y = Defend
X = M Crush
For an emulator:
A = Attack
B = Jump
Y = M Crush
L = Defend

In Level 1 you will only encounter, in the order:
3 Soldiers.
Then 2 Sword Men/2 Soldiers.
Then 2 Soldiers.
Then 2 Soldiers.
A very easy level. :)

|Scorn |
| |
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Scorn is kind of tough. Defend when he attacks, then attack him while
you are invincible. If you need to, use an M Crush once or twice. Kill
off the other guys that come on-screen as soon as possible. You will
beat him very soon with that tactic.
Note: You will encounter a version of Scorn later in the game. He will
come back as a Tall Man at various times, although he is easier to
defeat as a Tall Man.

You will meet, in this order and grouping:
2 Soldiers.
Then 2 Sword Men/2 Soldiers/2 Masked Men.
Then 3 Fat Men/1 Buster S./2 Soldiers/1 Bird Man/3 Sword Men.
Then 2 Soldiers.
Then 2 Sword Men.
Then 1 Barricade.
Then 1 Bad Falcon.
Then 1 Masked Man.
Then 1 Soldier.
Then 1 Barricade.
Then 2 Soldiers/2 Fat Men.

|Braford |
| |
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Braford can give you plenty of trouble if you're not careful. He's kind
of hard.....:(.....Anyway, get him off of his horse with an M Crush or a
jump attack. Then get on his horse, and press the M Crush button when
Braford is facing you to make the horse run at him and do some pretty
nice damage. After that, guard until he hits you while you are
defending. Start hacking away at him when you are flashing, then when
you stop flashing, defend again. Keep doing this until he's gone, and
collect the treasure after hacking it up.

You will meet, in this order and grouping:
1 Fat Man/1 Soldier/1 Bird Man.
Then 1 Sword Man/1 Bird Man.
Then 1 Barricade.
Then 1 Soldier/1 Bird Man. (There is a horse in a barrel on the top of
the screen)
Then 2 Soldiers/2 Buster S./3 Sword Men/2 Skywalkers/1 Bird Man.
Then 1 Masked Man.
Then 1 Soldier.
Then 1 Masked Man/1 Bird Man.
Then 1 Buster S/1 Fat Man.
Then 1 Soldier/1 Buster F.
Then 1 Bird Man/1 Soldier.
Then 2 Bird Men/2 Soldiers/1 Tall Man.
Then 1 Soldier/1 Sword Man.
Then 2 Mad Tigers/2 Skywalkers/1 Fat Man/1 Sword Man/2 Buster F.

This is definitely the hardest boss yet. He has two forms of attack:
using his claw to do some hard damage to you. Or: jumping and creating
an avoidable spread of lightning stuff. :) Just defend alot, and when
you are invincible, hit him a few times, etc. He should go down after a
while.

The Phantom is hard. He splits up into three and you need to kill each
one. Do the same defend and attack thing, and when you kill the first
two, the real fun begins. The last one can throw cans at you that hurt,
and also can shoot fire out of himself in a circle, but that can be
dodged quite easily. You'll beat him eventually.

In this level, you fight:
4 Soldiers.
Then 1 Bad Falcon.
Then 1 Buster S.
Then 2 Bird Men/2 Buster S./2 Skywalkers.

Then 1 Buster S./2 Bad Falcons.
Then 4 Fat Men/1 Buster S.
Then 1 Soldier.
Then 1 Bad Falcon/1 Tall Man/1 Soldier.

This is HARD. I hate this guy. Use the same defend/attack/invincible
thing, and avoid him whenever he comes soaring down on you. I hope you
win. This guy is tough.

This guy is pretty tough. He can attack you regularly or go up into the
sky and send little meteors down on you. It hurts. Anyway, remember the
defend/attack/invincible strategy, and keep pounding him. Good luck.

This is the last level. Here you will fight:

This is kinda' hard. You have to hit the rotating gear-like thing in the
center. Use the attack/defend/invincible trick. You'll beat it pretty
quickly.

Easier than before, so don't worry, you'll take him down pretty
quickly.....it helps that he doesn't split into three.....:)

This tough guy attacks with the powers of Braford, Arlon, and Balbars.
Use the attack/defend/invincible trick. Keep whacking and dodging. It'll
take you a while, but good luck. :)
Congrats! You've just beaten Knights of the Round in Easy Mode! :)
That's the enemies I listed anyway. The ones in Easy Mode. Heh. Now to
the next level.....for you! :)
