All mistakes are mine -- please let me know if you find something glaringly wrong in this walkthrough!
GENERAL NOTES:
Tomb Raider II is a third-person-perspective action game. Lara Croft can perform a wide variety of actions that are a little different from those seen in first-person games. If you have not played this kind of game before, be patient and practice moving Lara before trying the game. I would recommend spending some time at her House, where she will help you through the moves.
I am assuming the items I received after killing the bad guys will be constant, and I have not heard otherwise. Listen to the music in the game, because it may warn you of danger ahead. You may also hear the bad guys or animals as they sneak up on you. There are a few different approaches to some of the problems. Feel free to try different ways - I just wrote down what worked for me. During the game, if you want to check your statistics and see how you're doing on kills and secrets, press to bring up Lara's Inventory Menu Ring. Open the stopwatch and you'll get a list with all sorts of interesting information.
*NOTE* - many of the items (medikits, ammo, etc.) you need to acquire, you get from the bad guys after you kill them. Always check to see what they may have dropped. The animals will not give you anything. :-) I have not pointed out every single item to be picked up during the game. The ones I do mention are either particularly important or help to establish your location. Look around as you progress through the levels and pick up all the items you can get to -- ammo, medikits, dragon secrets, etc.
It is sometimes difficult to tell if Lara can make a particular jump, or it may be unclear where you should go next. It's helpful then to periodically stop and look around you (use and the arrow keys) so you get a different perspective. The solution is often clearer that way.
GETTING AROUND IN THE GAME FOR THE NEW PLAYER:
When you start the game, you are looking at a screen with Lara and a man in black on a green background. The objects that can be moved with the arrow keys constitute the Menu Ring. Hit to make the front item bigger so you can use it. The red book is her Passport. Flip through the pages with the arrow keys and hit on the one you want. See the manual for what the other objects in the
Menu Ring do.
The controls can be confusing to the first-time player, so I will try to summarize them here. I strongly suggest going to Lara's home (the photo in the Menu Ring) and practicing her moves in a safe environment. The arrow keys are the movement keys. is the Action key and is for shooting, flipping switches, picking things up, getting into vehicles, making vehicles go faster, climbing, grabbing onto ledges, and generally manipulating things. makes Lara pull out her guns. Use the key to bring up the Menu Ring to choose her weapon. Put her weapons away before you try to grab something.
Lara can perform a wide variety of movements that require a seemingly complicated combination of keystrokes. They do get easier over time! Combine (the Jump key) with the arrow keys to select the direction in which she will jump. When she is in a vehicle, use and the left or right arrow to get out. is also used to swim when Lara is underwater. When swimming on the surface, use the arrow keys to move and to get out of the water. will make Lara walk rather than run. This is useful when near edges, because then she will not walk off an edge. There are new moves in TR2 that are important to learn because you will use them in the game. Lara can do a backflip with a twist so she lands facing the opposite direction. Press , followed immediately by and at the same time. She can also jump forwards with a twist so she lands facing the other direction. Press , and then and when she's in the air. You can also add a shoulder roll to a forward jump so she winds up facing the other way.
SECRETS:
Every level in Tomb Raider II has three dragon statues to be found. They are the Stone Dragon (white), the Jade Dragon (green), and the Gold Dragon (yellow). Sometimes they are in visible places that are not easy to get to, and sometimes they are well hidden. If you get all three dragons in a level, a lot of useful stuff will come with the last one. Keep a sharp eye out for them.
THE GREAT WALL -- Level 1
Descend into the cavern with the pool in it. Go over to the pool end (watch out for tigers) and use the ledges to climb up towards the building. SECRET 1 - STONE DRAGON - about halfway up the rocks, turn around and find the ledge facing away from you. Jump over and get the Dragon.
Go back to the ledges and climb up to the building. Enter the building and step on the grate in the floor in the corner to fall into the pool below. Climb out and go up the stairs to the end. Do a running jump across to the ledge by the switch. Throw the switch that opens the door to exit this room. Go out the door onto the Wall. Kill buzzards. Drop through the broken part of the Wall into a pool. Swim into a tunnel and get the GUARDHOUSE KEY.
Climb out of pool -- watch for tiger. Use dark blocks against the Wall to climb back up. Use key to open the Guardhouse door. Enter and kill spiders. Climb the ladder to get the RUSTY KEY. Climb down and open the Rusty Key Door under the ladder. Go down hall with webs and watch for spiders in the room beyond. Pull the block out once in the room with the skeleton and slide down to the landing by the pool below. Use the crack in the left-hand wall to shimmy across the pool and avoid being hit by the spinning disks firing from the walls. Drop down at the far end and pull out into a hall.
The next part must be done all at once, without stopping. Put Lara's guns away now, as she will need her hands. Run down the hall and across the breakaway floor. Turn right and run to the opening at the end of the room. Two boulders will be following you. Jump over the spikes and fall down a hole into another room. Immediately find the opening in the long wall and pull Lara out before the two moving spike walls crush her. There is some ammo on the floor by the place you pull up, and you can get it if you have time. You may pause once you are in the tunnel, and it would be a good idea to save at this point!
The next part must also be done all at once, and timing is important to get SECRET 2 - the JADE DRAGON. Run down the hall over breakaway floors and jump over three swinging knives on the floor. Turn left at the end, pick up the Jade Dragon, and jump over the next breakaway floor piece before the moving spike walls crush you. After you cross the breakaway floor, stand close to the right-hand wall and wait. Two more spike walls will move forward, but not as far as the wall where you are.
The next two spike walls will crush you, so run past them and jump down a hole at the end. Run to the corner of the room and fall down the breakaway floor to avoid yet another moving spike wall. You are now facing a cavern with two rolling, spiked disks. Run past them into a bigger cavern with the slide rope heading off to your right over a chasm.
Before sliding down the rope, go get the Gold Dragon -- which is down in a cave in the far end of the floor of the cavern below. Walk to the lip of the cliff near the middle and look straight down. Find the square ledge that appears brighter than the rest and drop down to it. Face the wall and use the crack to shimmy over to where it gets wider. Pull up into it and go left down a passage. The shaft you will climb down is dark and you may want to light a flare and carry it as you climb down. (Lara can hold flares while she climbs, throw switches, shimmies, or picks things up.) Use the short ladder at the end of the passage to climb over to the long one. Climb down to the bottom of the shaft. Go out to the floor of the cavern. As you go towards the cave at the end, a Tyrannosaurus Rex will come after you. Kill him and enter the big cave and get SECRET 3 - GOLD DRAGON and a bunch of goodies at the end of a short narrow tunnel. As you leave, another T-rex will appear. Kill him and go back to the shaft and climb ALL the way up. Drop down into a passage that leads back to the top of the cliff and the rope slide.
Go to the rope slide and slide to the far end of the cavern. Watch for tigers. Go through a passage at the end into a chamber with the Red Dragon Door and a campfire. Walk up to the door and END LEVEL with a cut scene.

One of Bartoli's henchmen attacks Lara as she tries the Red Door. She knocks him down and gets him to tell her a little of what's going on. He mentions Marco Bartoli and Venice.

VENICE - Level 2
*NOTE* This level is not quite as linear as the previous one, so some of the things can be done in a different order.
Head down the alley you start in and kill the Doberman and the guy on the balcony above the courtyard. Go down the brick alley towards the canal, kill a Doberman and a man with a baseball bat. Jump into the canal and swim under the big wooden door opposite to get into the Boathouse. Push the switch on the wall, which opens a door in the hall in the building back across canal.
Swim back across. Kill a guy and get the automatic pistols from him. Enter a room with a chair and table at the dock and push a switch that opens the trapdoor next to you. Climb up and push the switch to open the next trap door. Climb out onto roof. Shoot glass in the window and go through into the hall. Shoot the window on the opposite side of the hall, climb out and jump onto the red awning, then jump over to the balcony with the dead guy. Get BOATHOUSE KEY and go back to the window you jumped through. Turn right and go down the hall into a room - watch out for a Doby. Cross the walkway and flip a switch at the end, which opens a door in the white building visible to your left though the windows of the walkway. Go back to the room and shoot out the window. Do a running jump across to the red awning and jump over to the door that opened. Throw the T-switch, which opens a big wooden door in the canal under you.
Go back to the Boathouse and climb into the speedboat. Drive out of the Boathouse and go right. Go through the now-open gate and stop, jump out. Use a flare to see the passage to your right. SECRET 1 - STONE DRAGON - is in this passage. Go back to the boat and drive it into some underground canals. Drop over a waterfall into a large room. Get out of the boat, swim down (use a flare to see), and get SECRET 2 - GOLD DRAGON. Get back in the boat, drive into the tunnel and find the lock (alcove with big open doors and a bar switch on wall) and dock. Park the boat in the lock and climb out onto dock. Shoot window, kill guy and rats, enter the room, and throw a T-switch that fills the lock with water. Go out and climb the ladder to the top of the lock. Jump in the water and throw a bar switch on the wall to open doors at the far end of the lock. Get in the boat and drive out. Go left.
Make your way through the canals to the gondolas and dock that block the way. Get out and climb on the block on the dock. Jump and grab the red awning. Face the wall and sideflip over to stone bridge and kill a Doby and bat guy. Head towards a courtyard with lemon trees and kill a guy in a white shirt and get the STEEL KEY from him. Open the Steel Key Door in this courtyard and enter. Drop down and flip the switch to raise a narrow ornate gate in a canal. Climb back out, kill guy, and go back to the bridge.
Shoot the guy down below (away from your boat but standing near another). Jump into the water and swim over to the second boat. Use it to blow up the underwater mines near the large Dragon Doors by speeding at them and jumping out at the last minute. Swim back to the first boat and head down the canals, turning left past the guy on the corner dock, and turning right under a bridge. Get out at another dock with more gondolas blocking the way. Kill the bat guy who comes out as the door opens. Enter room and throw the switch, which opens a wooden door at a two-level dock.
Go back to the boat, turn around and drive left through a narrow canal, then left again to the two-level dock. Get out and go through the door into a room with a shallow pool in it. Get the IRON KEY and climb the wall in the corner. In the room above, kill a Doby and bat guy, get the grenade launcher. Throw the switch to open a big wooden door next to you. Kill the guy below you (stand near the open door and shoot him when he can shoot you) and drop down to boat. Head under the bridge and turn left twice. Climb up a long ramp, break the glass, and get SECRET 3 - JADE DRAGON.
Go back down to the boat and back to the first dock where the gondolas blocked the canal. Swim over to the Iron Door at the top of the stairs. Enter and flip the switch in the room to open another narrow ornate gate in a canal. Go back to the boat and head for the boat dock near the ramp up to Secret 3. Enter and kill the guy. Push the switch, which opens the Dragon Door by the mines. It's a timed door, but the clock won't start until you leave the boat dock with the boat. You have until the clock stops ringing to get to the Dragon Door. (There are a few ways to do this next part. You can swim under the door and all the way to the Dragon Door and the clock will never start chiming, so the doors will stay open until you get there.)
If you wish to try the James Bond solution, get in the boat and push the Action key to make the boat go faster. Hold it down while you drive the boat up over the short ramp and up the long ramp and jump through the walkway windows. The boat will land in the canal on the opposite side. Lara can crash through the gondolas if she hits them hard enough with the boat. Drive straight ahead and jog left, then right around the corner, and go through the narrow canal. Turn right at the end and go through the open Dragon Doors to END LEVEL.
BARTOLI'S HIDEOUT - Level 3
This level is also in Venice. Drive the boat out of the tunnel through a gate that opens as you approach it. Stop at the dock on your left and get out. Go up stairs, kill rats. Enter passage and kill a guy, flip a switch at the end of the hall, which opens the big door by the boat. Kill the guy who comes out after you. Head back to the door, kill a guy who shoots at you from the balcony over the stairs. Go through the door and kill two guys in black.
You are now in a large room in a palace that is falling apart. Head towards the windows on your left (as you face the room) and kill the Dobies. Go out and get the medipack. Go back through the window and turn left towards the three statues with the large swords. Approach and they begin swinging their swords. Run past them as they chop at you. Use a flare in a dark room at the end and throw the T-switch, which opens a big door out over the canal.
Go back to the main room and use the broken wooden stairs to climb up to the upper level. Pull the stone block marked with a flower out once. Drop down and pull yourself up to the balcony where the block was. Jump over to the opposite balcony (where the guy was shooting at you) and climb the wall that looks like a ladder to get to the window. Go out on the balcony and jump over to the red awning. Lara will slide, so be ready to catch the edge as she falls. Shimmy left to the end and pull up. Again, Lara will slide, so you must immediately do a backflip after you pull up. This puts you on another balcony. Do a running jump from there and grab the wooden platform, jump over to the next red awning. Take one step back from the edge of the awning and do a standing jump down into the open door below.
Go upstairs, kill Dobies. Go into the gold room with a chandelier, turn left, and find the T-switch on the wall by the door. Throw it to open the door just outside this room at the top of the stairs. Go out to the balcony and get SECRET 1 - STONE DRAGON. Go back to the gold room, break the window, climb out, kill the guy out there. Go along the balcony to the next window and break it. (Lara can break windows by either shooting them or jumping through them.) When you jump into this room, Dobies and a pipe-wielding guy will come out of the door, and another pipe guy will come at you from the window behind you as well.
After killing them, go into the fireplace and push the back block of it in as far as it will go. Climb on top of the block and enter the passage. Kill rats. An obstacle course is next. Jump over the knives sticking out of the wall and land in the water below to the right. Pull out in the corner away from the fire. The fire will go out as you step on the wooden part. You have a set amount of time to jump all the way to the end. If Lara catches on fire, jump in the water to put her out. Run and jump from before the first pipe and jump across all the fire platforms to the end, using primarily standing jumps. An alternative is to step forward so the fires go out, jump in the water, swim under to the last flame block, pull out, and run across it. I found it easier to jump over the blocks.
The door at the end opens as you approach it. Kill the guy and Dobies below. Jump down into a large room with three chandeliers. Use the angled ramp nearest you to jump up to the lowest chandelier. Jump over to the window ledge and throw the T-switch, which opens the trapdoor in the fireplace. Break a window, go out on the ledge, turn right and drop down the shaft that is behind the fireplace. You will land in a pool near a large door. This is the Library Door, for which you do not have the key yet. Pull the bar switch in the water and swim out the door that opens under the chainlink fence.
Swim down towards a square hole in the floor - light a flare to see. This area looks like a flooded basement, with stairs and columns underwater. Follow the passages through the walls back to the farthest section and pull the bar switch on the wall. This opens the trapdoor at the top of the shaft over your head. Swim up and get air if you need it. Swim back down and get SECRET 2 - the GOLD DRAGON - from where it lies on the bottom near the switch. There are also some grenades to get. Swim back out through the square hole in the floor through which you came in. Swim out the underwater windows to the canal. Go left and climb the wall to the windows above. Go back into the chandelier room.
Jump onto the lowest chandelier again and use the other chandeliers to jump up to the partial wood floor above the shapes covered in sheets. Throw the T-switch, which opens the framed picture on the opposite wall. Use the chandeliers to get up to the top floor on the right (as you face the wall with windows). Walk around behind the pillar and grab onto the large wooden roof beam. Stand at the very edge and face the beam, hold down and press and so she jumps up and grabs the beam. Shimmy right until you can pull up and stand. Jump over to the floor ledge in front of you. Be ready to shoot a guy as you climb over the low brick wall (the grenade launcher works well here). Climb up to the wooden roof beam on the other side of the center support from where you were. Throw the T-switch, which changes the heights of the chandeliers -- the lowest is now the highest.
Go to the highest chandelier and drop onto it. Use the chandeliers to get down to the lowest one and jump over to the open picture alcove. Get the LIBRARY KEY. Drop to the floor and go over to the windows near where you first entered this room. Go out the windows, jump into the canal, and swim through the underwater windows. Go through the door to the Library Door. Open it with the key.
Enter Library Foyer (large room with black and white floor and three doorways, with one open), kill the guy with an iron rod before he can pound you, then go through the door he came out of. Climb the bookshelves, kill some rats, and throw the T-switch to open one of the doors in the Foyer. Drop down and go kill the guy with guns that comes out. Go into that room and climb the bookshelves to the top. Go out the window. Slide down the red awning below the window and jump over to the balcony on the opposite side of the courtyard. Turn around and jump back over to the brown-tiled roof. Jump over to the top of the brick wall. You are now looking down on the canal and a wooden houseboat. Turn right and walk to the pale green slope at the end of the wall. Face the houseboat and do a running jump. Grab the roof and pull up. Walk to the opposite side by the smokestack and jump over to the brick wall under the arch. Drop into the small pool on the other side and pick up the Uzis. Climb back out.
Jump into the water and get out at the low corner of the houseboat. Kill the guy when you enter. Get the DETONATOR KEY on the table. Leave the houseboat and climb out at the small door in the brick wall. Shoot the guy in the courtyard. Go back into the library through the windows and pull the T-switch in the foyer, which opens the door next to you. Go in and kill the guys that come in the window. Go out the window to the gazebo courtyard. Walk up to the door in the wall, and it will open.
Jump into the canal and swim left towards the far corner, where you can pull out. Pull up to the brick wall with the DETONATOR on it. Do NOT set off the detonator yet. Pull up onto the brick wall in front of you (with the gazebo courtyard on the other side). Head towards the white building at the far end of the canal and pull up onto the brown-tiled roof and then go through one of the windows. Get SECRET 3 - JADE DRAGON (special thanks to my son Bailey for finding this dragon!). Go back down and head back to the detonator end of the canal. Set off the DETONATOR, which blows up the white building where the Jade Dragon was. A guy on a balcony above you will start shooting. Kill him and swim over to the broken building.
Use the low block to the left (as you face the building) to jump over to the white blocks. Make your way up to the very top of the building by using the blocks. Head towards the back on the top level and go along a brick passage to a hole. Drop through and slide down to END LEVEL.
THE OPERA HOUSE - Level 4
*Note* There are a number of different paths to take in sections of this level. I am describing a route that works, but there are other ways to accomplish the same things.
This level starts with Lara standing on a platform up high on a building overlooking the canal. A swinging crate is in front of you. Jump down into the canal and get out on a ledge on the opposite side (by a poster that says Bartoli). Kill the guy across the way, swim over and get some ammo from him, jump back into the canal, and swim to the left. Climb up the ladder on the wall to the first level. Jump to the ledge and flip the switch, which opens a trapdoor in the roof nearby revealing the presence of a key and a bad guy. Go up one more level, jump across to the white ledge. Do a running jump and grab the platform the swinging crate is on. Pull up and face the roof on the other side of the canal (the swinging crate is directly to your right). Jump over and drop into the trapdoor. Kill the guy and get the ORNATE KEY.
Go upstairs, kill guy, and go out the door that takes you back to the ledge with the switch. Go back up the ladder and jump over to the white ledge again. Jump over to the platform with the swinging crate and walk to the other end of it. Jump over to the flat piece of tiled roof in front of you (as you stand with the swinging crate behind you). Drop off the left edge and hang from it. Shimmy left until you are over the next flat spot and let go. Drop off again and hang. Shimmy left until the window opening is below you. Let go and immediately grab the window ledge below before you fall past.
Pull up into window ledge and shoot out window. Notice the broken glass sticking up out of the floor. Do NOT jump into it or fall on it! However, Lara can walk through it without being hurt. Step off the window ledge and walk to the left to the ladder in the corner of the room. Climb up and open the Ornate Key Door (a very plain wooden door). Go up stairs and around the corner.
As you come to another ladder, don't go straight and try to climb the wall. You will fall outside. Climb the ladder and stand on top of the green wall. You are now looking out over the broken ceiling of a large room far below. You must run and jump across the dark panels before they fall. Start at the edge of the wall facing the room. Do a standing jump to the thicker, right-hand section. Run across it and do a running jump to the next. Do another jump after running to the next edge and grab the green wall. Pull up on the wall. Turn right (as you climb up facing away from the room) and go through the passage.
This passage leads to an opening that looks out on the top of the Opera dome. There are lot of guys and dogs in there, so have your guns ready. Shoot the guy on the dome and jump onto the dome yourself. Stay on top and run around while shooting. After you've killed them all, go to the corner near the swinging crate. Stand as far forwards towards the cut-out corner of the dome and as low as you can. Do a running jump and grab the edge to the left of the crate and pull up. Go down into the dark pit and push a switch, which opens trapdoors in the floor on one side of the dome. Climb back out, kill more guys who show up.
Do not go into the trough with the broken glass or into the corner with the opening that leads to a slide down to broken glass. Drop down the trapdoors to the control room. Flip the left switch, which opens the gate next to you. The right switch won't do anything until you find the missing part for the panel between them. Drop down and go down the hall to a switch on the right. Push it to close the gate to the control room. Avoid the rolling rocks. Climb back up towards the control room and go through the space in the wall. Drop down and kill a guy.
You are now on the upper level of the ruined Opera House auditorium. The passage to the left (as you face the stage) in the corner leads to the elevator. Doors to the right at floor level and under you at floor level release rolling rocks. Go to the right and drop off the ledge (near the keyhole). Jump up to the second level and go to the far left side (as you face the stage). Jump up and over to the small ledge. Jump from that ledge to the floor at the same level. There are four levels total, and you are now on level three.
Go to the opening in the wall to your right (with your back to the stage). Drop down into the water. Use the ledges to climb back up, kill rats, and go to the level just below the top where you can see a metal grate. Kill a guy and some dogs. Head down the hall to a row of windows. Break them and go through. You are looking down into a dressing room with two metal doors and a switch. Drop down and flip the switch, which opens the door next to you. Slide down the duct pipe and jump at the end to avoid the fan. Get the ORNATE KEY.
Climb the brick blocks to your right and face the fan. Do a sideflip over to the duct pipe, slide forwards, and jump at the end to land in the space next to the fan. Pull up, go around corner, and kill rat. Do a running jump over the space in front of you (that leads to a fan on the right and the left). Turn around and stand at the edge with the fan behind you. Do a backflip up onto the ledge above the fan. Repeat with the next fan. Do a standing jump and pull up to ledge opposite and get SECRET 1 - JADE DRAGON. Do not run to the dragon, there is a fan right behind it. Stand directly in front of it and pick it up. Drop back down and get back up on top of the uppermost fan again.
Head down the metal hall into a room with a large wooden block. Pull the block out and push the switch behind it to open the door next to you. Push the block out into the dressing room until it's up against the short block on the floor under the windows. Climb up to the lower windows, break them and go through into a room with another block. Push that block out the windows onto the block in the dressing room. Drop onto the short block and pull up onto the stacked blocks. Go through upper row of windows and kill the guy who's waiting for you. Go back to the shaft over water and head back up to the auditorium.
Head for the keyhole and use the Ornate Key to open the doors next to you. Do not go out yet. Head down to floor level and swim over to the stage. Watch for guys and falling sand bags. Go to the left into a room with a grate for a floor and flip the switch, which opens the gate on the other side of the stage. Go there. Watch for some guys who will come out of the room after you. Walk into the room after you kill the guys. Walk over to the wall with the crack in it. Run along the wall past the lower end to trigger a sand bag to fall. Go back to the doorway.
Pull up onto the wood walkway, avoid glass, and walk until you are opposite the lowest point of the crack on the wall (next to the flipped-up section of the walkway.) Do a running jump and grab the crack. If you haven't triggered the sand bag before this, it will hit you and kill you. Shimmy left and pull up. Flip the switch, which drops the section of walkway behind you. Drop down to floor and get back up on walkway. Go to the end by the wall and jump over to the ledge on the left, pull up into the alcove, turn around, and jump over to higher walkway. Jump past two swinging sand bags (jump past the side of them) and flip a switch, which drops a sand bag to your right out on the stage. It falls through a trapdoor and opens it for you.
Slide down to stage, jump at the end, and drop through the trapdoor into water. Swim past the sand bag and wade through the opening to the left. Turn left again and duck under water and go straight (use a flare). Swim through a narrow tunnel to the right and get SECRET 2 - STONE DRAGON. Swim back out to a room and a flip switch on the wall (which opens a door to the auditorium upper level.) It is in a very dark place, so you must use a flare to see it. If you are out of flares, shoot your pistols to be able to look around. Swim back to the sand bag room and go left.
Swim underwater and come up in a room. Get out at ledge in the brick wall and pick up the RELAY BOX. Climb the ladder in front of you and go through the door into the auditorium upper level. Go to the opposite corner of the auditorium and head for the elevator controls. Place the Relay Box in the Yellow Panel. The elevator gate will open to your left and the elevator will drop down. Jump through the space where the elevator was and grab the ladder. Climb up. Walk through the glass and get SECRET 3 - the GOLD DRAGON. Flip the switch in the alcove near the Dragon, which opens a door in the next alcove. Go back out to the auditorium.
Turn right and head back down the hall to the elevator. Flip the switch to bring it up. Flip it again and immediately run into it before the doors close. Take it to the bottom floor and get out. Kill some guys. You are now in the room with the breakaway ceiling you ran across earlier. Flip a switch to send the elevator up without you. Jump into the water below and swim down and to the left past the cage. Go left again and turn left up a narrow passage. Get the CIRCUIT BOARD in the room under the grate. Swim back towards the cage, but go to the left side of it and pull the bar switch on the wall, which opens the cage. Swim in and get out. Climb ledges back to auditorium.
Go through the open double doors (Ornate Key Door) and climb up to the control room. Place the Circuit Board in the gray panel and flip the switch on the right (as you face the stage) to open the backdrop on the stage. Go to the stage and head for the door near the middle. Kill Dobermans and guys, watch for falling sand bags.
Go through door into a room with lots of crates. Find the crate with the dragon symbol on it that's brighter than the rest, and pull it out. Go behind it and flip the switch, which opens a door up in the wall above you. Climb the blocks near the light and go through doorway. Go out towards the audience and turn right. Drop down into the space in the right-hand wall. Jump over the hole in the floor and pull up. Flip a switch to open a door on the other side of the swinging sand bag.
Jump over past the swinging sand bag. Walk over to where you can look into a warehouse of boxes and swinging crates. Drop into the warehouse and kill a big guy with two guns. Watch for dogs. Explore the warehouse. Kill the guys you encounter and find the large metal doors at the end opposite where you dropped in. As you face those doors, turn left and find the short block . Climb up on it and make your way back to the blocks at the end where you came in. Push a button switch on the wall to open the large metal door you found. Head for the door, go through. You are looking down a ramp at an airplane. Get on the plane and END LEVEL.

OFFSHORE RIG - Level 5
Lara wakes up in jail with no guns. With the windows behind you, walk to the blocks and pull out the one that's against the wall. Pull other blocks out of the way until you have a clear path between the tunnel revealed by the first block and the door out of the room. Flip the switch in the tunnel. The door is timed, so run fast to the door and out. Alarms will go off and a couple of guys will come at you, shooting. Jump into the water and swim away. Swim out past the airplane.
Find the bar switch by the big underwater fan and pull it to open the door in the wall on the other side of the fan. DO NOT swim anywhere near the fan, or it will suck you in and kill you! Swim over to the wall the door is in, out past the barrels on the bottom. Then swim to the bottom and head for the door while hugging the wall on the right as hard as you can. Enter and swim along the passages until you get to a room where you can get out. Find the bar switch under water in this pool and pull it, which opens a trapdoor in the tunnel back near the fan.
Get out of the water and head down the catwalks past the windows. Jump off the end and push the switch on the wall, which opens the underwater door on the plane. Jump in the water and swim into the plane. Push the switch on the column in the middle of the cargo area to turn off the plane's left engine. Notice the pistols in the back of the plane. Jump back in the water and head back through the door near the fan. Swim down into the trapdoor in the passage and get SECRET 1 - JADE DRAGON - from behind the fan. This is tricky because of the currents. If you are low on air, go out to the main pool without getting too near the fan and get air at the surface. Swim back down to the door and up the tunnels to the pool at the end.
Climb out and go to the dock near the stopped plane engine. Watch out, because the guy behind the windows will come out and shoot at you. Do a running jump and grab the wing near the engine. Pull up and run to the top of the plane and head towards the tail. You'll fall into a gray trap door. Get your pistols! Climb out and jump over to the dock. Go in through the windows, kill guys. Get the YELLOW PASS CARD from one of them.
Use the Yellow Card in the box on the wall by the TV monitor to open the double doors at the end of this control room. Go through doors and push switch on wall. Head up the stairs to your right and open the hatch. (Up stairs to the left leads to the Red Card Door) Watch for guys! There is a door at the top of the ramp, which you may see swing shut before you get to it. This door cannot be opened or gone through in this level. It is a time-waster (something that's intended to waste your time trying to solve it). Head down the hall and open the hatch into the mess hall, where you can get some ammo. Go through the doorway into the bunk room. Check all the bunks for ammo and weapons. The first top bunk (as you enter) on the left has a switch to press to open a timed trapdoor in the ceiling at the other end of the bunk room. Climb up, press switch and run down to the other end. Climb on right-hand top bunk and jump over to other side of the trapdoor opening and pull up into it.
Walk down passage and slide backwards so you can grab the edge at the end without falling. Climb down the ladder and pull out one of the blocks and put it close to the fire opposite the ladder. Use the block to jump over the flames and grab the ladder. Climb up. Kill the bad guy and get the RED PASS CARD. Go up the passage and climb the ladder on the left to come out at the very top of the Rig. Get SECRET 2 - the STONE DRAGON- and climb back down.
Jump off into the pool and go back to the Red Card Door. This door is up the left-hand stairs after you pushed the switch back near the Yellow Pass Card doors. As you head up the corridor towards the Red Card Door, watch for a guy and a Doberman. Cross the octagonal room and start up the blue ramp. Immediately jump back and get out of the way of barrels that will roll down at you. Go up to the Red Card Door and open it.
Kill guys. Alarms will go off. Jump over to the platform on the left (as you enter) and push the gray block in the corner. Go around to the other side of the block and pull it out. Go back around it and push it to the edge of the platform. Use the block to jump up to the doorway in the wall. Kill the guy in here. Go to a control room and flip a switch, which fills the first pool in the previous room with water. Notice the door here that needs the Green Pass Card.
Go back to the big room with the now-filled pool and swim across. Turn to the right at the edge of the pool when you get out and look for the pipes that filled the pool. Jump over them to the ledge beyond. Flip a switch back there to open a trapdoor in the control room next to the pool. Go to the control room and drop down the trapdoor. Slide down the brown passage to a catwalk.
You are now on a catwalk looking out over the feet and legs that hold up the Offshore Rig. There are scuba divers in the water below. You can see the Gold Dragon on one of the rig feet to the right. You can either make your way around the catwalks by going to the left, or you may jump into the water. I jumped into the water first and climbed back up to the catwalks later.
Jump into the water and have your harpoon gun ready. Swim to the right and get out near SECRET 3 - GOLD DRAGON. Pick it up and watch out for two guys with iron bars who will come after you. Jump in the water before they whack you (or kill them now if you can.) Swim to the wall near another rig foot where there is a ladder. Use it to climb up out of the water and back to the catwalks. You can shoot the scuba divers from up here, as they will have followed you.
Make your way clockwise on the catwalks around the center section. Kill all guys you encounter. When you see an opening in the wall on your left, continue a little further, and find the window in the next wall through which you can see the GREEN PASS CARD. Shoot the window and jump over and get it. (It is in the wall that you came out of when you slid down here.) Go back to the catwalks and over to the opening you saw earlier. Pull up into the brown passage and go up.
Drop down into the passage that leads to the control room with the Green Card Door. Kill the guy and open the door. Flip the switch that filled the first pool, and it will empty the first pool and fill the second one. Jump into the second pool and swim down the tunnel. Pull the bar switch and open the door next to you to get out. Run up the stairs to END LEVEL.
DIVING AREA - Level 6
You are looking out over a large pool with a ladder opposite. Jump over to the ladder. Do NOT jump into the pool yet, because there is a large fan at the left end that will suck you in and kill you. Climb the ladder and push a switch to stop the fan. Jump into the pool and pull the striped bar switch. Swim down a tunnel behind the fan to get some grenades. Go back to the pool and get out. Go to a room with two swinging hooks over a pool. Kill guys and dogs.
Do a standing jump from the pool edge to the column under the right-hand hook (as you face the pool). If you fall in the water, swim out through the underwater passage at one end and come up a hallway back to the hook room. Stay on the right side of the column so the hook doesn't hit you. Walk carefully to the corner and time the hook's swing. You need to jump back then do a running jump from the column corner to the opening next to the metal grill on the other side of the pool. Kill the guys over there before you jump, if you can.
Go through the doorway that leads to a large room with a sloping gray floor and a bubbling toxic green liquid below. Notice the hole in the middle of the slope. Stand above it and slide backward to fall into it and get SECRET 1 - STONE DRAGON. Climb out at the low end and slide again. Jump at the very end and land on the platform. Go left and through an opening in the wall.
Climb up a very long ladder to the top. Head up a hall to a room with a blue floor and a hole in the middle. Hang and drop onto a pipe. Slide and grab the end. Release and immediately grab the platform under it. Pull up and kill a guy. If you fall to the bottom of the room, you can climb back up the ladder and try again. Go left on the catwalk to the break in the railing. Jump through it and slide into the hole in the brown wall. Get the BLUE PASS CARD and climb out. Climb back up the long ladder and drop back down to the catwalk.
This time, go right and use the Blue Card to open the door at the end. Go out into a hall. Turn right and watch for dogs. Dogs will also come from the left, along with a guy with a flame thrower. You want to kill him from a distance, which is why you should go right. Continue around the hall to the right. The first hatch leads to a closed door to the helicopter pad. The doors on the inside with the dragon symbol on them cannot be opened yet. Continue down the hall to the next hatch.
Open it, kill guys, and go down to a room with a pool in the middle and the Red Pass Card on the other side near a big circular saw. Push the block that is against the left wall (as you entered) once to reveal a panel with a missing part. Get out your harpoon gun and jump in the pool. Swim down to the opening at the bottom and lure the scuba diver out. Either shoot him with the harpoon gun, or get out and shoot him with your guns from the surface. After he is dead, swim into the tunnel he came out of and pull the bar switch in there. Turn around and swim to the right through the door that opened. Pull the next bar switch to open the door to get to the helicopter pad. Swim back through passages to surface - do NOT pull the next bar switch you see, as it is the same one you first pulled.
Head back down hall to the door to the helipad. Open the hatch and climb stairs. Kill guys and watch helicopter take off. Go to room at the far side of the helipad. There are two switches on either side of a short hall with two flames in the floor. The switches control the flames, which are timed. Flip the right-hand switch (as you face the flames), which turns off the closer flame. Run to the trapdoor between the flames and drop down and get the M16. Climb out and run back to the room. Throw both switches next -- first the right, then the left -- and run to the end of the hall. Pick up the MACHINE CHIP and run back to room before flames restart.
Go back across helipad to the pool room and place the Machine Chip in the wall panel, which opens the door next to you. Go down the ramp and shoot the guy across the room from you first. Keep running towards him and turn to shoot the guy with the flame thrower who is to your left as you run into the room. Notice the Jade Dragon under a grating at the bottom of the pool. Walk over to the wall panel next to the right-hand (with the pool behind you) large yellow tank. It will open. Go in and push button, which opens the grate in the pool. Jump in pool and swim down to get SECRET 2 - JADE DRAGON.
Go up to get air, then swim down and into the tunnel at the end of the pool. Outswim or outshoot the two scuba divers and swim to a very deep pool. The minisub is at the very bottom of this pool but cannot be accessed. Climb out on the only possible ledge. You can kill the divers from here when they follow you. Kill guys around edges of pool too. Pull up on block and flip a timed switch that opens the door to the control room back in the room where the Red Pass Card is. Swim back -- you will be ambushed by a diver on the way back. Outswim him and get to the door before it closes. Two guys who had been in the control room will try to kill you on the way.
Flip the switch on the wall to move the block hanging from the hook over the pool to the near side. Use the block to get over to the saw side of the pool. Do NOT touch or cross the line painted on the floor around the saw. Notice the panel on the wall behind the saw, which is missing a part. Climb over the blocks in the corner and push a switch, which raises the helipad. Go back to the helipad and drop down under it.
Kill the bad guys and get the MACHINE CHIP. The doors will open, so you can go directly back to the saw room across the hall. Jump over to saw side and place the Chip in the panel to stop the saw. Pick up the RED PASS CARD. Go back across the hall to the central area under the helipad where the Red Card Door is. Open it and drop down. Kill guys and come out on the ledge around the minisub pool. Go through the doorway and down the passage. Listen to the conversation as you walk.
You will come out on a catwalk over a room with two bad guys and a monk they were "questioning" who is lying on the floor. Shoot the guys but do not walk over to the monk yet. Go down the stairs and, staying close to the wall, go through the open door. Get SECRET 3 - the GOLD DRAGON. Walk over to the monk on the floor and END LEVEL.

The monk mentions the Seraph and his monastery in Tibet before Bartoli kills him. Lara gets ready to go diving in the next levels by putting on a wetsuit.

*Note* -- The underwater levels, especially 40 Fathoms and Living Quarter, contain few medikits! Be very selective about when to use them, because they are hard to replace -- the fish you kill won't give you medikits . I would suggest being extra careful to save often, too. These levels get longer and more complicated.
40 FATHOMS - Level 7
Lara begins this level underwater after going down with the minisub. There is no air, and she can't swim back to the surface. Turn around and find the barrels and crates on the seafloor and head towards them. Watch for sharks! Swim fast to the upside-down rusty ship's hull you can see from the last barrel. Head towards the left end of the ship, where you can see the anchor on top. There is a hole behind the anchor that leads to a compartment with air. Watch for sharks again and save!
Swim down through another opening into a second compartment, up to a hole that leads to the next compartment, and swim to the far end, where there is a bar switch on the wall. This opens the trapdoor in the floor behind you. Swim through and up to air in the next chamber with floating boxes. Swim under boxes and find the opening that leads to a smaller room with a switch that drains the water from these two rooms. Go back to the room with the boxes and use them to climb up to the opening in the wall.
Drop into the room where you can see SECRET 1 - STONE DRAGON. Do NOT run across the middle of the room. Kill the guy, get the Dragon. Then walk to the middle of the room and drop down to a chamber with boxes and some guys. Use the slanted boxes in the corner to get up to the tallest one. Do a combination of back and sideflips to get to the tall box. Jump over to the doorway by the railing in the "ceiling." You are looking down a corridor with pipes in the walls and pipes across the floor at intervals. There is a T-switch to your left as you enter. Throw it to open a timed door that's in the wall down the corridor and to the left.
Run down hall, jumping over pipes in the floor as you go, and turn left at the wet end to get to the timed door before it closes. This door leads to an underwater passage into the flooded chamber you could see through the portholes you ran past. Dive in and outswim the barracudas and sharks and get SECRET 2 - JADE DRAGON from the far side of the chamber. Swim back fast. I did not find that I could kill all the fish in there, but you are welcome to try! If you dodge around while swimming, they can't catch you as easily, and you can just swim past them.
After you get out, go straight down the passage in front of you. Turn right at the end, notice the hall with flames in it. Take the first right down a dark passage and climb a ladder to a rusty room with a T-switch. Throw it to open a door at the far end of the passage you were in (on past the flame hall.) Go down the ladder and back to the passage that passes the flame hall and turn right, right again at the corner, and enter a blue room with a T-switch that turns off the closest two flames in the flame hall.
Run to the flame hall and throw the T-switch you can now reach, which opens a door near the one that led to the Jade Dragon underwater chamber. Go down the hall to that door and find the T-switch there. This switch turns off the farthest two flames in the flame hall. In order to get all the flames turned off, you must throw this T-switch first (turning off the farthest flames), run back to the room with the other T-switch (that turns off the closest two flames), and then run back to the flame hall and through to the end. You can use the central darker passage (where the ladder is) or run around the outside passages to do this run. Be careful about timing your jumps to get over the pipes in the floor.
Once past the flames (save!), throw the T-switch on the wall to open the door next to you. Go out near water and take out your harpoon gun. You will need to jump in the water and kill a barracuda before swimming up through a hatch. After you go through this hatch, it will close, and you are committed to the rest of the actions before Lara drowns. Swim up through the hole in the ceiling and up through the next one as well. The last chamber has a bar switch that, when pulled, will open a door in the wall of the bottom chamber. Swim back down and through, pull the bar switch there to open the hatch at the very top. You will now be almost out of air.
Go back to the top and get air before swimming back down to the bottom and getting SECRET 3 - GOLD DRAGON - from an alcove next to the bar switch. After you pick up the Dragon, three barracudas will come after you on the swim back up, so it's a good idea to have plenty of air before getting the Dragon. Kill them in the water or after you get out at the top. Go down the hall to a hole in the floor. Drop through into a huge chamber in the hull with a rocky floor. Find the hole in the floor on one side and drop down into a similar chamber below. Go to one end and find a movable block behind some rocks. Pull it out until it's under the opening in the wall above.
Climb up and throw the T-switch, which drops the big trapdoor in the ceiling of the chamber - you will hear loud crashing noises as rocks drop through. Use the newly dropped rocks to climb up to the opening that is closest to the one you are in. It is on your left as you look out over the chamber from the T-switch opening. Pull up into the opening into another similar chamber with rocks. The chambers are all similar, so try to keep track of where you are. Climb up the pile of rocks and go through the doorway to a T-switch, which causes water to flood a chamber you haven't been to yet (you'll hear the water.) Drop back down into the trapdoor chamber and climb up the opening next to the one you just dropped out of.
In this chamber, climb the rocks to the wide opening and throw another T-switch to open a door underwater in the chamber you just flooded. Go back down to the trapdoor chamber and climb the rocks to the only opening you haven't gone through yet (it's a small, square opening in the wall opposite the end where you pulled the block out.) Walk through the rusty passage until you are at the top of a chamber of water. This is the chamber you flooded, the open door is at the bottom under you.
Get out the harpoon gun, dive in and swim down to the door -- kill a scuba diver. Swim through the passage, get out and kill two guys in the room. Pick up some needed goodies, throw the T-switch to open the door. Go through and END LEVEL.
WRECK OF THE MARIA DORIA - Level 8
You begin this level exactly where you ended the previous one. Walk to the hole in front of you and jump in the water. Kill the scuba diver and pick up harpoons at the bottom. Swim through the rusty, corrugated metal tunnel and climb out. You are looking down towards a breakaway floor far below. Slide backwards and grab the edge. Let go and fall onto the breakaway floor and let it drop you down. This is a long drop and will hurt Lara -- use a medikit after you land.
You are now in a tiled room, with the empty swimming pool you just dropped through in the ceiling, upside-down. Notice the Stone Dragon under one of the swinging door panels. To go get it , leave the swimming pool room through the diving board end. Kill guys, turn left and go to the corner where there are two chairs tipped over. Climb up through hole in the ceiling. Walk down passage, kill guys, and drop down to get SECRET 1- STONE DRAGON. Pull back up to passage and go back to swimming pool room.
There is a pool at the far end to jump into and get a medikit. Then swim up through a tunnel and pull the bar switch to open the hatch at the top. Get out in a passage with three guys in it. Kill them and go to a really large chamber with three large metal objects that look like huge car mufflers (or rectangular boxes) crossing it. Turn right and find the places the Circuit Breakers go on the wall by the flames. You need to get three Circuit Breakers and place them here before you can do anything else in this room.
Drop back into the water and swim back to swimming pool room. Go through the doorway at the diving board end again, and find the green blocks that can be moved. Pull the first one out and move it left, and then push it all the way back into the slot in the wall. Move the second one over and push it up against the first one. Pull the third one out so it reveals the passages behind it. The passage leading straight ahead goes to the Dining Room, the one off to the right leads to the Ball Room.
Go down the metal hallway to the Ball Room. Kill guys. As you enter the Ball Room, turn right and go to the far corner (passing the upside-down grand staircase as you do this.) Go through the doorway, turn right, and walk through broken glass to a hole in floor. Drop backwards and hang onto the edge, release, and immediately grab the ledge just below. Pull up and get the REST ROOM KEY. Face the opening and do a standing jump and grab to the top of the opposite side and pull out of the hole. Walk back into the Ball Room.
Go straight to the far end of the balcony (I'm calling it this, but it is really the upside-down upper walkway that goes all the way around the Ballroom) above you and find the slanted piece of floor near the corner. Use this to get up to the balcony level. Drop backwards and hang off the short end of the balcony to your left after you pull up. Shimmy left past the block that almost touches the balcony. Notice the gray panel that is now closed in this central section of the balcony. Keep shimmying left, and pull up after you pass the second block that almost touches the balcony. Pull up and walk to the end near where you first entered the Ball Room.
Do a running jump over to the small ledge sticking out of the wall above the entrance and get the first CIRCUIT BREAKER. Drop to floor and go back through the metal hallway. Turn right at the green blocks and go to the Dining Room (which has a blue checkered "floor" on the ceiling.) Go to the far end and around a corner to the right to the Rest Room keyhole. Open the glass door to your left with the key. Push the switch in there, which opens the double glass doors behind you and lets a guy with a wrench come out. Kill him. Push the switch in there, which opens that gray panel in the Ball Room.
Go back to the Ball Room and get up on the balcony. Shimmy left to the central section and go through the open gray panel. Head down a hall until you see hatches and doorways. The first hatch on the left leads to an empty room, the door opposite needs a key. Go to the second hatch (on the right) and open it. Drop into a room with blocks. Pull out the block on the right and move it over so it's under the switch on the wall in front of you (as you looked in.) Climb up and flip switch to open the door above you. Pull the block that's to your right (as you face the switch) under the doorway so you can climb up to it.
Drop down into a hallway, pass through a small room with a closed door, and go along hallway to a larger room. Kill the guy with the wrench. Pull the block in the corner out and get the RUSTY KEY from under it. Put the block under the T-switch, climb up, and throw the switch, which opens the door to get out of this room. Climb out the door and go right to the Rusty Key Door (it's opposite the empty room you saw before.)
Drop into the Rusty Key Room and place the metal block in the corner up against the end of the platform made up of cris-cross pattern blocks. Climb up and pull the metal block out of the wall twice. Climb over it and push the next metal block in once to reveal a passageway to the right. Go through the passage and drop into a wider passage with a breakaway floor. Run onto the breakaway floor and immediately jump backwards off it. Barrels will roll past on the other side. After they stop, you can run all the way across the breakaway floor.
Turn right on the other side and find the rusty opening in the ceiling next to the barrels that didn't roll. Pull up into the doorway and quickly jump out backwards and do a sideflip towards the barrels that didn't roll. Two barrels will roll out of the opening and miss you. Climb back up into the rusty passage and get SECRET 2 - the JADE DRAGON. Drop back down next to the barrels and take the right-hand passage (opposite the breakaway floor.) Turn left and climb up through opening -- kill guy.
You are now in a room with a grating for the floor and a small boat hull under it, floating in water. There is a hatch underwater that Lara cannot open yet. Drop down onto the boat and jump in the water. Swim to the bar switch and throw it to open the timed door you can see up above the grating floor. Pull up onto the boat and out onto the grating. Pull up through the timed door and pull the T-switch and go through the door that is open to your right. As you pass through it, it will close. You are above two slanted rusty pieces of floor that slope towards a trapdoor in-between them. The space you must get to is in the wall up to your left.
Step forwards and slide down the floor, jump before you get to the now-open trapdoor (or fall into the broken glass), land on the opposite side, and slide again, jump before you fall in. Keep jumping back and forth until the trapdoor closes. You can now stand on it and pull up into the space in the wall. Throw the T-switch in there, which opens a gray panel in another room off the grating floor room opposite to where you first entered it. Drop to trapdoor and sideflip out. Go back to grating floor room and over to the doorway at the end. Climb up and go through the opening in the rocks to the gray panel that is now open.
Walk out through the panel and kill some guys. You are now looking out over a large room where the skylight is in the floor, and a shark can be seen swimming around under it. Go to the left (as you face the room) and over to a switch near where the carpet comes down to meet the balcony you are on. Throw the switch to drop a small section of the floor near you. It is timed and will only stay open a short time. (I did not find a use for that timed panel.) Drop off the edge of the balcony near the switch and hang from the edge. Let go and fall to the level below you. Run over to the corner to your right (with your back to the room) and pick up the second CIRCUIT BREAKER. As you step into the corner to get it, another section of the upper balcony will drop open near some angled blocks.
Do not climb up there yet. Go all the way around the level you are on, past the angled block, to another switch. Push it to drain the water out of the room with the grating floor and the boat hull. Go back to the corner where the Circuit Breaker was, and trigger the door again to open near the angled blocks. Run back and climb up. Head back out the gray panel to the grating floor room and drop down to the boat hull. Open the hatch and go through. Head up a ramp, but don't turn left into a darker passageway yet. This passageway leads to trapdoors to the Dining Room and Ball Room that aren't open yet. Go straight instead, and drop into a tiny room off the Dining Room -- kill the guy who can come in after you through the glass door. Push the switch, which opens both the trapdoors in the darker passage.
Go back to the darker passage and drop into the Dining Room. Push the switch on the wall in the Rest Room (to your left as you drop down.) This closes the double doors opposite you. Climb back up through the trapdoor and go back to the tiny room again. You can now get past the previously closed glass door and get the third CIRCUIT BREAKER. Pull back up into the passages and drop back into the Dining Room. Head out and past the green blocks.
Go back to the tiled swimming pool room and jump into the pool at the far end. Take the Circuit Breakers to the large chamber with the flames. Place the first one to stop the flames so you can place the second one, and so on. Once all the flames are stopped, you can pull the block out until it's under the doorway in the wall above the circuit breakers. Climb up, kill guy, and throw the T-switch in there. There will be a loud, mechanical noise. Go to the lip of the opening and do a running jump over to the first large metal "muffler". Jump to each one to get all the way across the room to the last one and jump into the doorway.
Drop down a very long shaft into water. Swim out to the next chamber and go down a wide passage with a flickering light to a pool that is shallow at the edge. Step into the water and kill the barracuda. Go around the corner to your right (as you enter) and pick up the harpoons. Swim across the pool and get out at doorway. There are two that connect. If you go to the left-hand-most one you will see a keyhole and can kill a guy. You are now on the Ship's Bridge and can see a key underwater out the windows -- along with sharks and barracudas. Of course .
Face the windows and turn left and find the short passage with a hatch at the end that you can open by turning its wheel. Go in and flip the switch in the room inside to open a timed door that is on the opposite side of the Ship's Bridge (from where the ship was originally steered.) Run to the door before it closes and go into another room. Pick up flares and push the block into the wall to reveal a switch. Flip it to drop a trapdoor in the floor down a wide passage near the Bridge. To get to this trapdoor, leave this room and go all the way across the Bridge and turn left. Head down a dim passage with an irregular metal floor and wooden ceiling. The trapdoor opens to water at the far end.
When you jump into the water, sharks and barracudas will be close, so you must swim quickly. You are in a very large cavern under water and must find a secret and a key before you leave. To get SECRET 3 - GOLD DRAGON - swim straight to the far end of the cavern. You will swim past the windows looking into the Bridge, which will be on your right. Swim to the end of the cavern and find a narrow vertical channel in the rock that leads up to a small opening. Climb out and get the Dragon. Jump back in -- the sharks and barracudas are waiting for you -- and swim fast towards the windows that are to your left. Get the CABIN KEY from where it lies on the ground and swim fast to the exit tunnel, which is to the right of the windows (as you face them.) Pull back up to the dim passage where you started.
Go back to the Bridge and turn right past the hole in the floor and the windows to the empty cabin, turn right again, and open the Cabin Door with the key. Enter Cabin and flip the switch to drop a piece of the floor by the movable block in the hole outside the Cabin. Go out and drop into the new hole and push the block over until it's under the switch. Climb up and flip the switch to open a hatch in the ceiling of the Cabin. Go back to the Cabin and pull up into the open hatch.
Walk through the hallway to an opening, where you can drop down. You are now looking out over a very large room with two levels (you are on the upper) and another skylight (this one broken), under which scuba divers are swimming. Kill the bad guys on the lower level when you see them. Turn right (as you enter) and go to where there is a piece missing in the floor. Drop down through it to the level below and go through the wide doorway and get some M16 clips.
Walk to the edge of the sloped area and slide off into the water -- be sure to avoid the broken glass places. Kill the scuba divers, either under water --or lure them over to the skylight, get out on one of the broken glass ledges, and shoot them from there. Which method you choose will depend on how many harpoons you have left. You must also kill a couple of barracudas. After you've killed everything, swim down into the cavern towards the barrel. Turn left and swim along a channel in the rock to an opening on the right. Enter, swim towards the yellow moray eel, and turn into a passage to the left in front of it. Keep swimming past more morays (they bite at you but don't follow you), following the tunnels until you get to a cavern that opens out wider. Swim towards the opening in the rusty hull to END LEVEL.
LIVING QUARTERS - Level 9
*Note* -- This level is still on the ship, but this section is right-side up.
You begin this level underwater facing the hole in the hull where the previous one left you. Swim through it and turn left to find the bar switch on the wall, which opens a hatch at the end of the chamber (behind you as you pull the switch.) Swim over to it, pull up, and get out of the water. You are standing in a chamber on the inside of the curved hull. Head towards the doorway at the far end and kill the guy.
Go through the doorway into the Engine Room. Notice that the Stone Dragon is on a ledge above you, where you will get it later. Climb over the engine to the other side of the room and turn left. Go down the rusty metal hallway in the corner. Drop through to a lower short hallway, kill guys. Step out into an intersecting hallway and immediately step back so the rolling barrels will miss you. Walk around the barrels and towards the room --watch for two more rolling barrels that come to rest under a bar switch that Lara cannot throw yet.
Walk up the ramp and stand at the very top next to the railing and face the flames. Do a running jump and grab the crack (with the pipe above it) and shimmy to the right past the flames. Drop down at the end near the T-switch. Throw this switch to turn off the flames. Pull up to your left (as you face the switch) and go along the halls to a room with a T-switch and hole in the floor. Throw the switch, which shifts the positions of parts of the engine. Drop through the hole in the floor to take a shortcut back to the Engine Room.
Climb up on the closest blocky metal part of one end of the engine. Face the metal rod with the metal box on top of it and do a standing jump and grab from the edge. Pull up onto the box and use the other boxes to get to the far end of the engine. When you are on the last box, turn right and do a running jump over to SECRET 1 - the STONE DRAGON. From there, jump back over to the small ledge sticking out from the wall to your right (as you face the room) and kill the guy. Walk along a blue hallway until it widens out. Find a block that can be moved, and push it until you can see an opening on the left. Jump through the opening across the hole in the floor and go around behind the block to get some shotgun shells. There is another block in there that can be moved, too. Do so if it's in your way.
Go back to the hole and drop into the room below. You are back in the rusty room with the T-switch that moved the engine parts. Throw it again to move the engine parts once more. Pull back up out of the room and go back down the blue hallway to where you can look out at the engine. Jump over to the metal box on the engine, and jump all the way to the other end of the engine using the boxes (the ones on top of the large metal rods.) When you are on the last box, turn right and find the T-switch on the ledge over the rusty doorway. Do a running jump at an angle and grab the ledge. Pull up and throw the switch, which floods the chamber with the flames you turned off.
Head back to that chamber by jumping back over to the metal box on the engine, and then jump to the end and down to the floor. Don't drop straight off the ledge, because it is too far down. Go along the rusty hallway and jump in when you get to the water. Swim to the bar switch you couldn't pull when the chamber was dry. Pull it to open the hatch at the opposite end of the room. Swim out the door and along a hallway and then down through an opening. Watch out for a scuba diver here. You may have to swim back to where you jumped in to get air, even if you kill the diver quickly.
After you kill the diver you can enter a larger underwater cavern. Notice that there is a small opening in the ceiling near where you enter, where you can get air if you need it. There is also a closed hatch in some seaweed in the ceiling. The bar switch to open this hatch is in a smaller alcove. The opening is small and slot-like. There is a huge Moray Eel guarding this switch! To avoid the eel, stay to the far left as you approach the switch. Throw it and swim back out as far away from the eel as you can, or you'll get chomped. Swim up to the open hatch in the weeds. (Save!)
Pull out into another room with part of the engine in it and some blue pipes, kill the guy. Jump up onto the center walkway over the gears, and stand close to where the blue pipe above bends down (you are facing away from the place you came in.) Jump and grab the pipe in front of you and pull up. Walk left and to the wall. Pull the block out once. Jump back over to the pipe you walked up on and go around to the other side of the block you moved. Drop off the edge and grab it, shimmy left until you can pull up. Turn around and jump over into the opening in the center pipe. Walk down to the end and turn right, slide down to another blue pipe. Go to the far end of the pipe and turn left and jump over into the doorway.
Go along a hallway and turn left into a wider hall. Kill the guy in here. Take the first right and go to the end, where there is a hole in the floor. Look down to see the Gold Dragon and broken glass. Jump over the hole and grab the opposite edge above and on the far side of the hole. Pull up into a dark room and light a flare (remember, you can shoot your pistols to see if you are out of flares.) Walk over to the breakaway floor and step on it and back off to let it fall without you. Drop backwards and grab the edge. Let go and drop to the floor and pick up SECRET 2 - the GOLD DRAGON. Walk through the glass and pull back up into hallway.
Go back to the wider part and turn right twice. Walk to the end past the sagging floor to the wide opening. Look down and notice the breakaway floor halfway down the slope. Also note the Jade Dragon underwater outside the window. Slide and jump over the breakaway floor, which has broken glass below it. Turn left (as you face the windows) and head for the shallow pool in the floor and shoot the barracuda. Step onto the breakaway floor in the pool, kill another barracuda that swims in, and swim down a rock tunnel to a wider chamber and pick up SECRET 3 - the JADE DRAGON. Swim back up the tunnel and get out back in the shallow pool.
Go to the opposite end of the pool and get out. You are next to windows on your right and a sloping floor to your left. Go straight to the dark piece of flooring near a broken column and a slanted column. Jump over the corner of the slanted column onto a piece of breakaway floor. Jump up and grab the crack in the broken column before it falls. If you cannot jump fast enough, it will drop you a few inches -- just enough so you cannot grab the crack. Jump to the right past the slanted column and turn around. You can use the slanted column to jump over to the crack. Jump onto it, slide, and jump at the edge and grab the crack.
Shimmy right until you can stand up on the short gray wall. Step off into the room with columns and a slanted floor. Go around the last column on the right to the opening in the wall. Drop down and go to a room with a lot of gold chairs. Kill a guy and go up the ramp. Turn left. Walk past the railing that looks out over a very large room with a black and white patterned floor. Kill the guy out there.
Turn left at the narrower end of the hall. Pull the wooden block out once, which will unblock a passage. Go back to the railing and jump over it into the room with the black and white floor. Note the passage on your right that had been blocked by the wooden block. Don't go up it yet. Head out into the large room, kill some guys, and go to the far end by the windows. Look down into the pit and find the block at the left side. Jump down to it and pull it out once. Climb over it and get the THEATRE KEY, which it was covering. Pull back up to the room and go up the passage by the railing.
Enter a small hall at the top, turn right, and open the glass Theatre Door with the key. Turn right inside the doors and kill the guy. Go up the stairs, turn left to enter the auditorium, and kill the guy in the opening in the wall (box seats.) Jump to the opening from the audience seats (which look like big steps.) Flip the switch by the glass doors to open one side of the curtain on stage. Drop back down into the auditorium and go to the stage. Walk around behind the curtain and climb over the shorter gray block. You may need a flare back here to see what you're doing. Drop behind the second curtain and turn left. Jump over the glass-filled pit and push the switch on the wall, which fills the pit where you found the Theatre Key with water.
Climb back over the gray block and leave the stage and the theatre, kill a guy who gets in your way. Go back out the Theatre Doors and turn right, then left, and go back to the room with the black and white floor. Jump in the water and swim to the doorway. Pull out and step forwards to END LEVEL.
*NOTE* The levels are getting increasingly more difficult and are getting longer. The bad guys are getting a little more difficult to kill. I try to point out where there are enemies to kill, but I may have missed mentioning some -- so be watchful!
THE DECK - Level 10
*Note* This level is not as linear as some of the others. The order in which you solve some puzzles or explore some areas may be different from the way I did it. I do know the way I did it works. I suggest exploring some areas so you will know what to do with keys and switches when you later find them.
This level takes you out of the Living Quarters onto a section of the ship which is in a huge cavern and no longer underwater. The section of the ship you are on consists of many levels of decks with cabins up top. If you explore the deck as you start the level, you will have to shoot some guys. Go back to the starting point and walk back towards the windows that look out over the rocky cavern wall. Get up on the window ledge and look down. You are looking at a pool far below and can see a key in the rocks below.
Jump into the water, pull out on a small ledge to the left side (with the ship behind you) of the pool, kill the barracudas. Climb the rock ledges next to where you are standing. Work your way up and over the rocks to get the STERN KEY. Jump back in the water and swim down and left (as you face the ship.) Swim through a narrow slot in the rock and follow the passage to a wider tunnel. Swim up and get out at the top.
You are now in the lower part of this section of the broken ship, looking out at the upside-down stern section of the hull (with the propeller on top). Kill a wrenchman (a big guy with a big wrench -- notice that you can hear the wrench jingling as he walks.) Drop to the ground and turn left, then right, and go around the corner of the stern hull. Notice the shallow pool with a broken-off propeller stuck in a hole. You cannot pass the propeller, but make note of the cave beyond it -- you will get there later. Go up the slope on the left side of the stern (as you face it.) Notice the door and keyhole in the wall -- you can't go there yet. Continue around the stern hull to the group of blocks against it.
Push the single block up against the pile of three blocks. Climb up on the single block and push the top block onto the other low block. Jump down and pull the first block back out away from the others as far as it will go. Pull the block that used to be under the upper one out to reveal the Stern Door. Pick up the flares and use the Stern Key to open the door. Enter and walk down the center depression in the sloping, rusty floor. Jump into the water and light a flare. Swim down and ahead until the passage turns right. There is a bar switch to pull on the inside wall of the turn. To find it, look up and to the right as you swim around the corner. Pull the switch to drop a section of walkway over a ladder in a rusty room somewhere else.
Swim back out, climb out of the stern hull, turn right, and climb onto the nearest part of the other section of the hull straight in front of you. Turn right and walk to the end, where there is a trapdoor in the floor. Step on it to drop into a hallway. Go to a room with a ladder and the section of walkway that dropped when you pulled the bar switch in the stern hull. Climb up and throw the T-switch at the top, which drains that passage in the stern hull. Climb down the ladder and go back to the trapdoor. Climb up the ladder and get out. Drop down to the ground and go back to the Stern Door. Drop down into the area that you swam in before. Use the ledge to the right so you won't get hurt. Walk down the passage, turn right past the switch, and walk into a wider passage.
Find the block in the rock wall and pull it out twice. Go along the rock passage behind it. Climb out at the end. You are now at one end of the cave behind the broken propeller (which is to your left as you look towards the mouth of the cave.) Head towards the mouth and walk into the water. Swim out towards the raft, but watch for scuba divers. As soon as they start shooting at you, swim back to shore and get out and shoot them. You could kill them with the harpoon gun in the water if you prefer. After they are dead, swim straight out into the water and go past the raft. Look towards the far end of the cavern and down towards the bottom. Dive down and get SECRET 1 - STONE DRAGON - from where it rests on the bottom among some weeds.
Swim back to the surface and back to the raft. Turn right and swim to the shore where you can see some boxes. Get out and kill a wrenchman. Walk along the shore using the ledges to get farther into the cavern. When you reach a ledge that is up high, look down at a smaller pool off the big one. There are barracudas waiting for you if you fall into the smaller pool. Jump over it and go up the tunnel. When the tunnel turns right ,use the ledge on the left to jump over to where it becomes a sandy-floored tunnel. Kill a guy.
Go straight down the tunnel -- do not take the left turn yet. When you get to the end where there is a hole in the floor, make sure you have 100% health. Drop into the hole and hang on the edge. Let go and fall onto the boxes on the raft. Pick up the CABIN KEY. Jump into the water. Watch for a shark! Swim back to the shore with the boxes. Make your way back to the sandy-floored tunnel again and take the left turn this time.
Climb the ledges until you get to an opening in the wall that looks out over the cabins on the topmost level of decking. You are looking at cabins divided into two sections, one forward (to your left) and one rearward with a huge rusty tank on top of it. Drop down and climb onto the deck. Kill a guy. Explore the upper deck and notice the three closed doors. Walk to the front of the ship and drop down to the level with the small swimming pool. There is a block on this level that can be pulled out to provide a way back up to the upper deck. Pull it out and check for goodies behind it. The block is located by the sloped gray rock on the left side of the ship (as you face the stern end of the cavern.)
Walk over to the swimming pool and jump in. Kill a barracuda. Swim to the panel in the corner, which will open as you approach it. When you swim into the tunnel, a scuba diver will come out after you. Kill him and go back into the tunnel to pick up SECRET 2 - GOLD DRAGON. Get out of the pool. Explore this level. Find the small alcove with Uzi clips in it, which is in a similar spot as the goodies behind the block you moved but on the opposite side of the deck.
Drop down to the next lower level of deck on the right side (as you face the stern end of the cavern). There is a movable block here too, that can be positioned under the deck edge above and used to climb back up. Put the block in position, but don't go back up yet. Walk to the forward-most spot on this level. Look out over the next-lower deck level and find the lump of decking that sticks up and the big gray concrete block near the edge. Do a running jump to the lump of decking. Do a running jump and grab the edge of the concrete block. Pull up and turn right. Walk to the end of the block and do a running jump and grab the crack in the rock wall just to the left of the cave where you can see the Jade Dragon. Shimmy right, pull up, walk through the broken glass, and pick up SECRET 3 - JADE DRAGON. Walk back to the opening and drop and hang from the edge (Lara may take a little damage doing this.) Drop down to the deck.
Make your way back down to the Stern Door by jumping back into the pool where the Stern Key was. Swim to where you get out on the lower part of the ship and drop to the ground. Go through the Stern Door and walk back through the passages to the cave where the raft pool is. Swim across and climb out by the blocks. Walk along the shore and go through the passage in the rock to the sandy-floored tunnel. Take the left branch and climb the ledges back up to the very top of the deck. Drop back down deck levels to get to the deck level below the swimming pool and walk to the forward-most spot again.
Do another running jump over to the lump of decking. Do a running jump and grab the edge of the concrete block. This time, you are going to jump over to the stern hull from here. Walk to the higher end of the block and do a running jump over to the stern hull. Walk over to the opposite side of the hull near the propeller. Look down the side of the hull and find the crack. Drop off and hang above the narrow end of the crack. Lara can let go and re-grab if the distance she falls is not too far, which is why you want to be over the narrow end of the crack. Release, fall, and immediately grab the crack. Shimmy left until the crack opens wide enough for Lara to stand up. Pull up and face the closest rock wall.
Do a running jump over to the cave in the rock wall. Make your way through the blue and white zigzag passages until you get to a large cavern with a sloping floor. Use the flat ledges sticking out of the slope to get up to the top. Start at the lower left side (as you face the slope). Watch for two wrenchmen as you get to the top (listen carefully for the wrenches jingling.) Continue up a rock tunnel and turn right to an opening. You are now on a small ledge looking out over the topmost part of the decks and cabins.
Do a running jump and grab the nearest roof edge. Pull up and go across the vents in the roof to the other side. Face the next section of cabins (with the tank sitting on top) and jump over to the roof there. Step on the trapdoor to fall into a hallway. Kill a guy waiting for you when you go around the corner. Pick up some ammo and continue down the hall. There is a door that swings open as you approach it. Pull the block near the door out and push it to the right along the wall. Go behind it and flip the switch to open the door in the forward cabin section on this deck level.
Walk through the door and turn right, then right again and go to the open door in the forward cabin section. Enter and pick up ammo. Use the Cabin Key to open the door inside. Enter the room and stand at the right side of the rows of breakaway floor. Run across to the platform under the switch. Push the switch to open the last door in the cabins (facing the one that opened near the last switch you flipped). Run back across the remaining row of breakaway floor. Running along the breakaway floor in two rows this way means you do not have to bother jumping over the spikes below.
Leave the cabin, kill a wrenchman, and turn left. Turn left again and go to the open door on the right. Head up the stairs and pull up into a rock tunnel. Follow the tunnel to a high ledge. Turn around and face the ledge with the lit top. Jump from the step below the high ledge to the lit ledge. Jump from there over to the top of the high ledge. Walk to the hole in the floor of the cave. You are looking down at the rusty tank. Drop, hang, and release from the small, dark ledge at the edge of the hole. Pick up the STORAGE KEY and pull back up into the cave above. Go back down the rocky tunnel and down the stairs.
Work your way back down all of the deck levels to get down to ground level by the stern section. You can either swim back through the pool where you got the Stern Key, or jump over to the stern section and drop off the side of it to the ground. The Storage Key Door is the one near the boxes in the rock wall on the far side of the stern hull that you saw when you were exploring. Open the door, enter and pick up the SERAPH (golden angel-like object) to END LEVEL.

Lara floats quickly back up to the surface at the Diving Rig and steals the seaplane. She gets out of the wetsuit and finds a bomber jacket on a seat in the plane. She flies to Tibet but has engine trouble. She manages to parachute out in the mountains before the plane crashes.

TIBETAN FOOTHILLS - Level 11
You slide down into a narrow, snowy valley to begin. Kill the birds (they sound like eagles this time.) Walk along the valley until you get to a spot where you are looking out over the rest of the valley and you'll slide if you go further. Notice the big snowballs poised at the top of the other end of the valley. There are a couple of ways to get down there without them hitting you. This worked for me: Walk to the edge, turn right, jump, and grab the flat part of the wall. You can shimmy left and trigger the snowballs to roll. Shimmy back to the slope and drop down. Walk up the valley and notice the notch in the left wall. You could also run in there to avoid rolling snowballs. It is also possible to jump over the smallest snowballs, but this is tricky.
Near the notch is an icy square in the wall, which you can see through. Shoot the ice, walk into the passage, and kill the snow leopard that comes at you. Pick up some ammo. Walk back out and turn left. When you go up the steeper part of the valley, more snowballs will roll at you. Jump into either the notch or the snow leopard passage to avoid them. Continue up the slope and pull up into the cave mouth out of which the snowballs dropped. Walk up to a ramp facing an icy breakable wall over a pit. Save before you jump. Run and jump over the pit and crash through the ice. You will land on a slope and slide towards another pit with an ice ladder on the far side (an icy wall that you can climb.)
Jump before you fall into the pit and grab the ice ladder. Climb up so you are above ground level and shimmy as far as you can to the right. When you see Lara's shadow over the ground, you can let go and drop to the ground. If this doesn't work, there is a trickier alternative. Do a backflip off the ladder and immediately jump forwards and turn to the right in midair to be sure Lara lands on the ground near the doorway. This maneuver may take a few tries. Continue down the tunnel and kill the eagle. Walk (don't run so you don't go over the edge) out onto the snow and kill another eagle. You are looking out over a chasm with water below and a snowmobile by a hut on the far side.
Turn around, drop and hang from the edge. Shimmy right as far as you can and drop onto a ledge. From this position, there are two ways to go. If you wish to explore the chasm before crossing it, drop and hang again. Shimmy until you are over the brown, pebbly looking ledge and pull up into the opening in the rock. Turn left. When you jump across the little pool, the icicles hanging from the ceiling on the other side will fall on you. To prevent this, walk to the edge, take two steps back, and do a standing jump. Lara will land at the edge and the icicles will miss her. Walk back out to the chasm and jump in the water. Swim left and find the ice ladder near the other end of the chasm and climb it to the ledge where you first dropped off.
The second route involves jumping from this point (so you don't need to explore the chasm if you don't want to.) From the ledge at the top of the ice ladder, do a running jump diagonally over to the ledge near the medikit on the other side (it is down and to your left a bit.) Climb up the ledges to the top of the chasm. Pull out near the snowmobile and kill two guys. Turn right (with the chasm behind you) and go over to the cage bars in the wall and pick up SECRET 1- STONE DRAGON. Go back to the hut.
Get on the snowmobile and drive down the tunnel. (Use when standing next to the machine to get on it, while driving to make the snowmobile go faster, and and the right or left arrow to get off the snowmobile.) Run over the first guy you see in the tunnels, because you can't shoot while on the snowmobile. Stop when you get to a big open cavern with lots of snow-covered ramps in it. The big ramp in the center points at a dead-end cave. The series of smaller, connected ramps (perpendicular to the big one) around the outside edge of the cavern are the ones you will need. They point to a cave with gray blocks in the mouth.
Get off the snowmobile and climb up into that cave. There are leopards in the narrow passage off the main cave. Pull the blocks away from the cave mouth and push them to the sides (you can put them in the leopard passage if you want.) Go get back on the snowmobile and drive to the ramp at the base of the cave with the blocks. Drive up that ramp and jump to the next one. Note: The snow can be slippery! Use the down arrow to brake. Keep jumping the ramps until you have gone all the way around to the series of ramps that will put you into the cave. Jump into the cave and stop.
Line the snowmobile up with the wider ramp at the left side of the pit at the back of the cave. Use to get up enough speed to jump over the pit. Do not crash Lara into walls at high speeds or she will get hurt. If you fall into a pit, the snowmobile explodes. Turn left on the other side of the pit and drive down a tunnel that also has pits in it. Stop by the first pit and get off. Walk down the right side (narrow side) of the tunnel to the end where there is an ice ladder. Climb it to a room with a T-switch. Throw the switch to open a wooden slat gate nearby.
Walk back to snowmobile, kill guys, and drive down the other side of the tunnel, around one pit and over another. Turn left and go through the open gate into a narrow passage. This passage opens out into a very large chasm with a skinny snow bridge across it. You need to drive across it. There will be bad guys, so you might want to get off and walk over to kill them, or you could hit them with the snowmobile as you go. I chose to get off the snowmobile periodically and scout the terrain ahead. After you cross the bridge, drive through a rocky tunnel to the next jump, which is really big.
Before you jump the big ramp over the large pit, get off at the beginning of the ramp and turn to the right. Jump over to the ledge and pick up SECRET 2 - JADE DRAGON. Two leopards are now in the tunnel you drove out of. If they come out, you can kill them from the ledge. There is an ice ladder on this ledge. The next part is not necessary to the game, but if you wish to explore the pit below and find out what you will face after the jump, climb down the ice ladder. (If you do not wish to, go to the next paragraph.) Drop into a little pit at the bottom of the ladder and kill three snow leopards from there. Cross the floor of the big pit to the ice ladder on the other side. The small opening leads to a closed slat gate. Climb all the way up and walk into a large cavern with a pit in the floor and a sloped wall and floor. There are snowballs ready to fall. Now that you know what's here, go back to your snowmobile on the other side.
Get back on the snowmobile and use to get up enough speed for the jump. Jump across and stop by the pit. You can drive the snowmobile past the rolling snowballs by driving between them and the pit, but you must stay closer to the pit. Use and zip on by. If you go too slowly, you will either slide into the pit or get hit by the snowballs. Stop and get off the snowmobile on the other side of the pit. Walk back to the pit and stand on the edge near the ice ladder. Jump to the snow above the ice ladder, slide backwards, and grab the edge. Climb down the ladder. Drop into the opening in the ladder and get the DRAWBRIDGE KEY.
Walk to the back and drop into the rock tunnel. Shoot the guy behind the ice wall in the snow cave. (I used a grenade and killed him without breaking the ice, then shot the ice with the pistols. I don't know why the grenade didn't break the ice; other weapons might.) Walk up the snowy ramp to a switch. Notice the icicles above the switch. To make the icicles drop without hitting you, run past the opening between the two snowy ramps. After the icicles fall, throw the T-switch to open the wooden slat gate in the wall above you.
Go through the gate and back out to the ice ladder in the big pit. Climb up and re-enter the cavern where the rolling snowballs were. Stand at the edge of the pit nearest the ice ladder and jump over to the closest edge on the other side. Get back on the snowmobile and drive down the tunnel. Stop before you turn to the right. There is a small tunnel in the wall that leads to another slat gate and a T-switch to open it. If you go through, it leads to a small, rocky cave in the wall that looks out over the pit where you just were. I never found a reason for going to this cave. Go back to the snowmobile and drive to the right down the tunnel.
You come out in a large cavern with a frozen pond in the middle. Turn left and stop. Get off and use the Drawbridge Key to raise the drawbridge sections over the entrance you just drove through. Get back on the snowmobile and start driving up the track around the cavern (counterclockwise.) Watch for rolling snowballs past the avalanche sign. Drive fast past them and into the next tunnel. Turn left in the next tunnel, and you'll hear a loud crashing noise. The path behind you is now blocked, and a pit has opened in front of you. The snow to the left of the pit slopes but is wide enough for the snowmobile. Hit and race around the pit on that side.
Turn left after the pit and drive down a steep tunnel, which takes you back to the cavern with the drawbridge. An avalanche has filled part of the cavern and broken the ice in the pond. There is a key lying in the snow in a bright area. When you try to pick up the key, a guy on a snowmobile will come gunning for you. He will shoot at you and drive into you if he can. Place the snowmobile close to the HUT KEY. Jump off, pick it up, get back on the snowmobile, and run away from the guy. He can be killed, but it is very difficult to do so. His job is to annoy you into forgetting the Hut Key. Run away from him if you can't kill him, and head back up the rocky tunnel with pillars (the only way out now.) He will follow you. Drive around the big pit on the sloping floor and jump back across the big jump over the leopard pit. He won't jump after you.
Drive back past and across all the pits. When you get to the last one (in the cave with the blocks you moved), use the ramp to the far left to jump over this time. If you use the other ramp, you'll crash. Drive out of the tunnel mouth and back to the tunnel that leads to the Hut. Drive the snowmobile up the tunnel as far as you can. Get off and kill the snow leopards. Walk back to the Hut (where you got the snowmobile) and use the key to open the door. Pick up some ammo and medikit inside, and throw the T-switch to open the slat gate near the Hut. Three hard-to-kill guys will come out, so you might want to save before throwing the switch. After you kill the guys, go through the slat gate and down a rocky tunnel.
You get to an opening looking out over a big, rocky cavern with a pile of snow in the middle. When you jump down to the floor of the cavern, the pest (or another one like him!) on the snowmobile will come after you. Run over to the snow pile and climb to the very top. He cannot drive into you up there, and you have a clear shot at him with the M16. Kill him and then head out the far end of the cavern. Walk to the edge of a pit in the snowy ground in the middle of the tunnel. Jump over to the left wall (the snowy one) above the pit and grab and shimmy right to the other side of the pit. Climb down the ice ladder to get SECRET 3 - GOLD DRAGON - and lots of Uzi ammo. BEFORE you pick up the Dragon, do a sideflip to the left when you hit the floor, or you will be smashed by rolling snowballs. After you pick up the Dragon, climb the ladder to get out of the pit.
Continue down the tunnel until you come out on a snowy ridge. You are looking out over snow that slopes steeply away from you. Two guys on snowmobiles will come gunning for you. Turn right as you enter and climb onto the ledge in the wall. From there, you can shoot them, and they cannot run you over. After you kill them, go get one of their snowmobiles and get on. Notice that now works the machine guns. You are ready for anything now! :-)
Drive down the snowy slope and find the block in the wall behind a pillar. Push it in as far as it will go and quickly get back on your new snowmobile. A couple of guys are coming, and you can make short work of them with the machine guns. Drive through the opening you made and head for the cliff. Stop at the edge and get off. Shoot the guy down below you. This is another place where there are a few options for getting down this cliff. I did not try simply jumping into the water, but it should be possible.
I went to the right-hand side of the cliff edge and did a safety drop to the level below. There appears to be a way to get down on the left as well. Jump from where you land to the small cave where the guy was, and then do a running jump to the right out of the cave mouth. Work your way along the snowy ledges until you are above the rocky ledge. Jump into the water and pull out at the rocky tunnel opening. Head down the tunnel, turn left into a snowy tunnel. Drop into a rocky tunnel and END LEVEL.
BARKHANG MONASTERY - Level 12
*Note* This level is structured like a real building, with many rooms and hallways and passages. Some of the things can be done in a slightly different order, but the way I did it does work. A very interesting thing to note about this levels is that the monks will not hurt Lara if she never shoots any of them. They will watch her but leave her alone and will, in fact, help her by killing the guys with the guns. However, if you wound even one, they will take it personally and come after you for the rest of the level. Alternatively, you can go ahead and shoot all the monks too. This is what I did. :-)
This level begins in the same spot where you left the last level. Walk along the rocky tunnel and turn right. Walk to the edge of the wall on your left and peek around the corner. You can watch some monks fighting with bad guys. Wait until the monks kill the guys with the guns, then step out and kill the monks. There is another monk to kill on the other side of this wall. You cannot get into the Monastery by the main steps. Climb the ladder on the wall opposite the main stairs. Kill buzzards (they sound different from the eagles) at the top.
Turn and face the shaft you climbed. Jump over to the ledge on the right. Jump from there up to the next ledge. Drop from there to the gray ledge below. Walk to the tan rocks and jump to the lowest spot on them. Walk diagonally to the right and jump from there to the next flattish spot in the rocks. Jump from there to the sloping rock towards the building. Slide backwards on the slope, grab the edge, release, fall, and grab the crack below. Shimmy left and pull up. Walk onto the balcony and shoot out one of the windows into the library.
Go into the library and walk to the only doorway. Kill some guys and walk down the hallway. Go straight to the end and turn right into a room with a flickering candle. Kill guy and shoot out window. Go out onto the balcony and get ammo. Go back into the candle room -- notice the door and keyhole for later. This time, take a right turn at the intersection in the hallway (you are facing a long hall with banners and a locked gray door at the end.) The right-hand room contains two rolling disks and a locked door. Go into the left-hand room with wooden columns on the walls. Kill the monk. Climb the ladder at the end of the short hall.
Pull up onto a balcony overlooking the large Main Hall. Turn to the right and kill a monk coming at you. Walk along the balcony and take the left turn out onto a part of the balcony that sticks out into the room. Pick up the MAIN HALL KEY on a red platform. Go back to the main balcony and turn right to go back to the ladder. Climb back down and leave the room with the wooden columns. Turn left in the hall with banners and open the large, gray Main Hall Doors with the Main Hall Key.
Kill the guys that are waiting for you to enter after you step in. Walk towards the statue and go down the stairs to the right of it (as you face it.) Climb up on the statue's platform and walk behind it. Climb on its back and get SECRET 1 - GOLD DRAGON - in an alcove in its back. Go back up to the Main Hall floor level. The door to your left (under a red banner), as you stand at the top of the stairs, leads up to where you can jump over to the statue's hand. Don't go there yet. Instead, go through the doorway next to it also under a red banner.
Go through the pink room with tables in it to a pink hallway. Be careful as you enter the hallway, because knives will start slashing at you from the wall. Jump over the first knife and go into the doorway on your left. Kill the monk in the room and get the STRONGROOM KEY. Leave the room, turn left, jump over the other knives, and go to the room at the end. This room is divided by a fence-like barrier. Notice the case on the other side with a couple of jewels in it. Leave the room and jump the knives as you go back down the pink hallway. Go back through the pink room with tables and go back out into the Main Hall.
Leave the Main Hall through the big doors and turn left at the T-intersection (not into the room with the rolling disks). Go to the room with the flickering candle and use the Strongroom Key to open the wooden slat door to the Strongroom. Enter and pick up the ROOFTOPS KEY. Exit the Strongroom, leave the flickering candle room, and turn right. Go into the room with the rolling disks. Run past them and use the Rooftops Key in the Rooftops Door (a wooden door with eyes painted on it.)
After the door opens, walk up the stairs and out onto the rooftops. There is a passage with five flame-filled dishes and connecting rails in front of you and an opening between two golden cow statues next to you. The flames can be turned off for a short time with a switch in a room beyond the cows. You can try flipping it and jumping the flame dishes. You can also simply jump over the rails right next to the wall and not get hurt, so you don't need to try the timed run. (Notice that some of the eyes painted on the walls in this area are moving! I don't think it means anything but it's a cool thing.)
After you pass the flames, turn left into a large open courtyard with grates in the floor. Kill guys (they are getting tougher to kill now.) Climb the ladder to get ammo. Climb back down and throw the T-switch on the column to open the two grates behind you. Drop through the grates into the room below. You are now on the other side of the fence-like barrier you found before. Shoot the case with the two JEWELS in it and pick them up. Exit the case, turn left and walk around the corner to a T-switch. Throw it to open the grate above you. Climb the ladder and pull back out into the courtyard.
Go up the steps and turn left. You are in a smaller courtyard with two more golden cow statues and a large gold starburst blocking a doorway. Place one of the JEWELS in the holder on the wall between the cows. The starburst will move backwards out of the way. Enter the room past the starburst and pull the block in there out twice. Go behind it to get PRAYER WHEEL #1 (out of five). Go back to the passage with the now-turned-off flames and go back down to the rolling disk room. Run past them and leave the room. Go straight across the hall to the wood column room and climb the ladder to the balcony overlooking the Main Hall. Go right and walk to the farthest end.
Drop into a small, gray room. Step into the passage in front of you and immediately step back out to let a boulder roll by. Walk up a ramp and down the other side to an intersection with another passage. The flares lying in the intersection are bait, so don't pick them up yet. Step into intersection and back out again so another boulder can roll by. Now pick up the flares. Go up the left passage to a room filled by a swimming pool.
Notice the splashes in the center of the swimming pool over the grating in the bottom. You cannot swim over the center section without being sucked in. There is an opening underwater diagonally opposite you that you need to swim through. Jump in towards the right and swim hard for the far wall. Keep swimming hard and stay near the wall. Swim through the opening and get out in a tunnel when the water is shallow enough for you to wade. Drop down a really long shaft with water at the bottom (Lara will scream but not get hurt.)
It's dark in these passages, so light a flare. Wade along the passage and avoid getting squashed by the clashing metal doors. Climb a ladder at the end. Pull up into a wood-paneled room and kill two guys. Go over to the dark doorway and kill another guy (a toughie!). Light a flare. You are in a room with flame dishes and metal rails connecting them in rows across the floor. Jump over them and go to the platform in the corner. Pick up PRAYER WHEEL #2. The flames will light after you pick it up. Jump over the rails (not the flames) to get back out.
Pull out the two movable blocks to reveal a corridor beyond. Go out that way and climb the ladder to the right. Pull up into the gray passage, pass the boulder that rolled earlier, turn left, and go up and over the ramp passage. Pull back out into the Main Hall up on the balcony. Kill another guy who has appeared on the balcony. Go back along the balcony to the ladder and climb down. Go out of the room and turn left and go to the Main Hall. This time you will go into the doorway under the red banner that's nearest the stairs down to the statue.
Climb the ladder and go to the opening. You are up high, facing the statue's hands. Jump over to the lower left hand (the statue has four hands.) Pull up to the upper left hand near the flame. Do a running jump and grab the statue's head. Pull up, walk across, and do a running jump to the upper right hand. From there you can jump up to the opening in the wall. Place the JEWEL in the holder, which drops a trapdoor grate in the colorful room under the statue's platform. Don't go down there yet. Drop down to the statue and, from there, all the way to the ground. Go through the wide hallway to the statue's left at the base of the stairs.
Take the first right and pull out two of the blocks in the room to reveal ammo under the center one. Go into the next room (past the barrels on the floor) and continue into the hallway at the end. The trapdoor in the floor of the hallway will drop when you step on it. Be ready to try to grab the ladder in the wall under it, or to climb back out of the pit via the ladder if you fall in. Continue down the hall and turn right at the intersection. Walk down the tan hall. The doorway to the right leads to a swimming pool. Don't go down there yet.
Take the first left and go up the stairs towards a window. Shoot out the window and put your guns away. There are three guys with guns who will come after you as you approach the window. Jump backwards and hang when you fall out the window. Drop quickly into a courtyard and quickly pull your guns. There are monks in the courtyard who will come after you very fast. After you kill them (it takes some good shooting and fancy flipping), throw the T-switch, which opens the door next to it. The guys who were after you above will come out. Shoot them, but don't go through the door yet.
Go to the opposite side of the courtyard and find the ladder. Climb it and backflip off at the first landing. Climb the next ladder and backflip off that one too. Repeat until you are at the top. You have climbed up inside a tower where you can pick up PRAYER WHEEL #3. Climb back down all the ladders. Go through the door on the other side of the courtyard. Go along the tan corridor. Turn left at the top and jump over the pit in the floor of the hallway. You'll have to grab the ladder on the far side of it and pull back up, because the ceiling is too low to jump all the way over.
Go back through to the room with the barrels and the blocks and turn right when you get out to the wider hall. Kill guys. Do not go through the small doorway to the left that leads to a swimming pool. Walk into the larger room at the end of the hall and turn left. Two guys will come out of the small doorway behind you as you approach the doorway in front of you. Be ready to turn and shoot them, then enter the hall you had been walking towards. Walk to the wide part of the hall. You are now looking down a hallway with a series of obstacles to overcome. You must get past a gauntlet of flames, pits, swinging spiked balls, and rolling disks. Save often as you negotiate parts of it successfully.
The first flame will stop when you stand directly in front of it. Do not stand on the block it's on, or it will start back up and kill you. Watch the swinging spiked balls to get their rhythm. Stand to the right or left side so you will only have to time one of the balls. Once you have the swing timed, jump over the flame block and drop into the pit under the swinging balls. Walk under the swinging balls to the next hole. Pull up on the side of the hole opposite the rolling disk. Stand at the edge of the hole and face the rolling disk and the next flame block. Notice that the disk rolls farther to the left than to the right.
Now you must time the rolling of the disk with the swing of the balls, plus your jump over the pit in front of you. Wait until the rolling disk is headed past to the left and the right-hand swinging spiked ball is moving towards you, then jump the pit (the flames go out as you approach) and run to the next hole and drop in. You may want to save before trying this, because it may take a few tries. Pull up on the right side of the next hole. You are now standing next to the pit and can look down the hall as the next disk rolls back and forth. Run past the disk into the doorway diagonally across the hall. Pick up the TRAPDOOR KEY in the room and turn back to the doorway you came through.
If you look to the right down the hallway the disk is rolling in, you can see an alcove on the other side. Time the disk and run into the alcove. Face the hallway and find the next alcove to your left. Avoid the disk and run to it. Run into the next alcove to the right and stop before you go too far in. Clashing metal doors start up right in front of you. Get through them carefully and past the next set as well. Pick up SECRET 2 - JADE DRAGON - at the end. Turn and repeat the whole routine to get back past the clashing doors and the rolling disk and go to the room where you got the Trapdoor Key.
Walk up the ramp and slide into the swimming pool. Swim towards the underwater ladder and turn right. Swim through a small opening in the rock wall and pick up SECRET 3 - STONE DRAGON - and lots of ammo. Swim back out to the pool and get out over by the doorway in the wooden wall. Return to the wide hallway, kill monk on the way. Turn right and go back to the statue in the Main Hall. Drop down in front of the statue's platform and go through the doorway in it. The second jewel opened a trapdoor in this colorful room.
Drop through the trapdoor and go up a ramp. Pull up into a cavern with pipes in it behind some bars next to the swimming pool. Throw the T-switch by the bars to open the door with eyes behind you where the water is flowing out. Go through the door and climb up the left side of the room. Push the block into the stream of water to dam it up. This also drains the water out of the pool. Follow the dry stream back and slide backwards into the dry pool. Grab the edge and safety drop to the floor. Climb up next to the wooden block on the opposite side of the pool from where you just dropped in. Push the block once and get PRAYER WHEEL #4 from the alcove behind it.
Climb the ladder to get out of the pool. Leave the pool through the doorway in the wooden wall and go back out to the wide hall. Turn right and go back to the Main Hall. Cross the Main Hall floor to the Trapdoor near the far wall (to the statue's right.) Use the Trapdoor Key to open the Trapdoor in the floor. Drop down into a colorful passageway and pull up into a gray room. Go into a pink courtyard and throw the T-switch there, to open the door back to the Main Hall next to you. Kill two guys who come after you and go back through the gray room and out the smaller doorway opposite. Kill a monk.
Walk through an arch and up through a stone canyon to a large stone pillar. Notice the different colored ground that looks like footprints in the sand. Use this as a path to follow. Climb up to an alcove with a ladder in it that is to the left of the pillar when you face the gray wall beyond the pillar. Climb the ladder, get out onto a ledge, and turn right. Follow the path to a rope bridge. Kill a bird before you get on the bridge, and a guy at the far end as you walk onto the bridge. Cross the bridge.
As the canyon widens, two more birds and a monk will attack you. Enter the open area with a small gray temple in the middle and turn right. Climb the sloped ledge and do a running jump and grab the next ledge. Turn towards the temple and do a running jump and grab the temple roof. Pull up onto the roof and walk over to the hole in it. Drop through and get PRAYER WHEEL #5. Throw the T-switch to open the door. Kill the guy coming in from the canyon as you leave the temple.
Follow the path back across the bridge, down the ladder, and along the canyon. Kill a guy who snipes at you from the courtyard at the end of the canyon. Walk back to the door to the Main Hall and kill another guy. Enter the Main Hall and go down the stairs next to the statue. Walk around the statue to the other side of the platform (the statue's right side.) Walk up the stairs into the Prayer Wheel Room. Place all five wheels in their slots to open the big doors at the end of the room. Walk into the Seraph Chamber and place the Seraph in its holder at the top of the ramp. The door to your right will open. Go through it to END LEVEL.
CATACOMBS OF THE TALION - Level 13
You begin this level facing a stairway. Watch out for falling icicles as you go down the stairs. Walk through the doorway and turn left. Grab the crack in the rock wall and shimmy to the right until you can pull up. Pull up and walk into a small cave to get SECRET 1 - STONE DRAGON - and flares. Drop back out and grab the edge. Shimmy left along the crack and drop onto the flat ledge. Climb down the ladder into the pit below. Kill the Yeti (big, white, man-ape creature.) You are in a room with bars along one wall. Throw the T-switch near the bars to open a door up above you, near the stairs you haven't been to yet. Notice that a snow leopard comes through the door.
Leave the room and climb back up the ladder. Get off on the ledge to the right. Walk back to the flat ledge above the slope. Shoot the snow leopard across the pit. Turn around and slide backwards down the slope. Grab the edge at the end of the slide. Pull up and immediately do a backflip with a twist ( ) and grab the stone edge . Pull up onto the top of a staircase. Notice the icicles poised to drop on you. You can set them off by walking next to the stairs on the rocks and getting on the step between the groups of icicles. The lower ones will drop. Walk on the corner of the next step up to trigger the upper icicles. Or, you can ignore them completely and walk down next to the stairs.
Go down the staircases. Two guys will come out from the top when you step on the darker step near a snowy sloped ledge near one of the turns in the staircases. Kill them. You are descending into a large, stone cavern with a pool in the middle. Before you go all the way downstairs, climb onto a square ledge (near the dark step) and jump over to the long ledge that leads up to a snowy ramp on the wall. Notice the snowballs at the top. To trigger them to roll, jump onto the steeply sloped part, slide down, and sideflip to the right -- and they will roll by. You will land safely in the pool. As you climb out, notice that the ledge above where the snowballs ended up has a cage with a mask in it.
To open the cage and get the mask, go to the opposite corner of the cavern from the stairs you came down. Kill two snow leopards on the way. Climb the ledges in the right-hand corner. Jump over to the snow-covered rock sticking out from the opposite wall. Walk to the breakaway floor behind the pillar. Jump over the breakaway floor and grab the ladder. Climb up and backflip onto a ledge. Jump up to the flat part in front of a T-switch. Throw the switch to raise the cage containing the mask and to drain the pool. Slide down the snow and jump up to the mask ledge when you stop. Pick up the TIBETAN MASK.
Drop back down the ledges to the floor of the cavern. Go to the brick doorway on the other side of the pool. Go down the ramp and get a medikit in a room. Go back up to main cavern. Walk over to the pool and drop in. Walk to the open grate in the bottom and do a safety drop (hang from the edge and then let go) through the hole. Walk along the passage and jump over the spike pit before the left turn in the tunnel. Walk to the bars blocking the exit and place the Tibetan Mask in the "keyhole" on the right. The bars will open. Notice the snowballs are up at the top of a ramp and you are at the bottom of it. As you start up the slope, the snowballs will start rolling. Run forward to get out of the depression you're in and sideflip right to avoid the snowballs.
There are three or four snow leopards ready to attack you as you walk around this cavern. Kill them. You are in a cavern with a hole in the roof and a building with red columns along a balcony to one side. Jump from the steps on the left side (facing the doors) of the ramp (where the snowballs rolled) to the open cave mouth in the wall. You can see a locked door in there with eyes painted on it. Drop down into a snowy cavern with a large red bowl with flames in it suspended over a frozen pond. Kill two snow leopards. Walk out onto the frozen pond and turn right. Go through into a smaller cavern with an ice cliff. Kill two more snow leopards.
Climb up to the top of a ledge to the left of the doorway where you came in, and drop down behind it into a dark cave. Jump into the water. Swim down and to the left and pick up another TIBETAN MASK. Get out of the water and climb back up the ledge. Wait and watch for two bad guys who will come from the doorway in the direction of the frozen pond. Kill them and go back out to the pond. Kill two more snow leopards. Go back to the entrance to this cavern and climb back out into the cavern with the red pillars. Walk past the ramp with the doors at the top and turn left. Head for the brick wall and turn right. Place the Tibetan Mask in the "keyhole" next to the door near the corner of the building.
When it opens, light a flare and walk in carefully. It is very dark in this room, and you can hear Yetis. You are on the upper level of a large room with Yetis in cages below you. Turn left and walk to the far wall, turn right and jump across to the T-switch. Throw the switch to open the bars in the doorways on either side of you. It also lets the Yeti out -- kill them as they come to you. Go into the opening farthest to the left (as you face the wall with the switch) and pick up some grenades. Walk back out and turn left. Walk past the switch and over to the block in the corner. Pull it in front of one of the openings and push it in under the bars.
Go into the room behind the switch and throw the T-switch in there. This will open the door with eyes back at the cave you were just in. It would have also locked you in this room if you had not placed the block so the bars can't drop. Go back to the main room and walk down the stairs. There should still be two Yeti lurking around down there (unless they came up with the rest earlier.) Kill them and pick up ammo and a medipack in the right side of the room where the Yetis were locked in the cage. You will need a flare to find them. Climb the stairs and leave this room. Step out of the doorway and turn right towards the ladder. Three guys will come at you from the main cavern. The third guy may not come after you until you are climbing the ladder. Kill them and climb the ladder to the balcony ledge. Get off and pick up some grenades. Climb back down the ladder and return to the main cavern.
Go back to the ramp and jump back into the cave mouth and go through the open eye door. You are facing two rope bridges with snowballs at the top of the second one. They will be triggered when you get to the flat rock between the bridges. As soon as you step there, backflip twice, turn, and drop backwards off the lower bridge, grabbing its edge. The snowballs will roll by you. Pull up and continue up the bridges into the next cavern. At the end of the bridge, step down onto the ledge with no snow that's closest to the ladder hanging from the roof. You will slide backwards towards the ladder. When you get to the end, grab the edge and pull up. Immediately do a backflip with a twist and grab the ladder.
Climb up the ladder to the top. Get off and cross the pebbly floor of this cave to a hole in the floor over a pool below. Jump into the water. Watch for three nibbling catfish. Climb out and kill them. Swim under the stone arch into the next cavern. Climb out of the water onto a small ledge on the right side where the cavern bends left. Find the ladder hanging through a hole in the ceiling and climb it. Stop almost at the top, do a backflip with a twist to land on the ledge behind you. Pick up SECRET 2 - JADE DRAGON. Climb back down the ladder and continue swimming into a dimly lit cavern.
Swim over to the doors and turn and face the block. Wade up to it and climb it. Do a running jump and grab the ladder in front of you. Climb it to the top and do a simple backflip to the short stone bridge behind you. Walk to the T-switch and throw it to open the big doors below you. Drop off the bridge into the deeper water and swim over to the door. Enter the room beyond and kill a snow leopard. You are in the room behind the flaming red bowl. Throw the T-switch on the block in the middle of the room, which opens the big doors at the top of the ramp in the main cavern.
Walk out onto the balcony and turn left. Walk to the corner and do a safety drop to the slope below. Slide to the floor of the cavern and go across the pond back to the opening. Climb back out to the main cavern. Turn left and go up the ramp and through the doors. You are facing a pit in front of you with snow leopards below. There is a wide slope in front of you across the pit with snowballs above it, and a narrow slope to your left with snowballs above it as well.
Drop down into the pit and kill the three snow leopards. Pick up a medikit and ammo and throw the T-switch on the wall between the two narrow doors. It will open those doors and let another snow leopard in. Kill it and leave. Walk back up the ramp and through the doors. Do a running jump over the pit. Notice the doorway filled with ice opposite the narrow slope. You must get the snowballs on it to roll and break the ice. First, face the narrow slope and stand at the base of it. Jump on the slope (snow balls will begin rolling), slide backwards, and sideflip to the right when you stop sliding. You will land on the wide slope and start those snowballs rolling. Because you will slide a bit on the wide slope, you are now facing the doors you came in. Run forwards and to the right around the shoulder of the narrow slope. Stop and wait for the snowballs to pass.
Follow the snowballs through the now-broken ice doorway. Step on the trigger plate in the floor near the left-hand door (as you face them) with eyes on it. Climb through the door when it opens. Turn left and climb the stone ladder in the wall (it's a slightly different color.) Pull up onto the roof over the doors and pick up SECRET 3 - GOLD DRAGON. Drop back down into the room with the spikes and walk towards the left-hand door (as you face the wall with two doors.) It will open and you can walk through.
To open the third eye door (the exit door) in the spike room, step on the trigger plate closest to the eye door, go to the trigger plate nearest the wall and step on it. Run back across the first trigger plate to open the left-hand eye door. Jump into the room and jump over the spikes and run through the eye door, which will be closing quickly. You do not have time to climb into the spike room or walk through the spikes (which Lara can do without being hurt.) Jump over to the ladder in the shaft and climb down. Go around the corner to END LEVEL.
ICE PALACE - Level 14
Walk into the room with an eye door and a large Gold Bell #1 (of four.) Shoot the bell to ring it and open the eye door. Walk out into a big room with cages, one with Yeti in it. Climb up above and behind the cage to your right and pick up the medikit. Go back down to floor level. Watch out for the gray panels on the floor. They are springboards and will bounce Lara up. Walk over to the double springboard, face the room (the Yeti are to your right), and run onto it. Press and as you step on the board. Press in the air to grab the ledge you bounce up to. The springboards are tricky, so it may take some practice to get the bounce right. Save often.
Pull up onto the ledge and walk around the corner and pick up some Uzi clips. Throw the T-switch next to them to drop the Yeti cage and release them. They won't leave their cage until you drop to the next level down. Drop down off the side near the wall, not the shaft you came up. Stay put, and shoot the Yetis as they start up the stairs on the other side of the room. Jump into the opening the Yeti cage left in the bars on your level. Walk into the narrow cage and turn right. Walk to the far end by the stairs and kill the Yeti that comes after you. Go up the stairs and throw the T-switch to flip up the metal panels in the window beside you. Turn around and go back to the narrow cage.
Find the block in the wall that you can move ,and pull it out. It's the second block from the corner where you came into this cage and is not easy to see. Push it to the side so you can go behind it, and get SECRET 1 - GOLD DRAGON. It's on a pedestal at the far end of a room. Stand in the center of the ledge you are on, facing the Gold Dragon. Step off the edge and you should fall about six feet and land on an invisible bridge. Walk over to the Dragon and pick it up. Walk back across the bridge. If you fall into the room below, you can climb back up on ladders against the wall.
Go back to out into the narrow cage and drop to floor level. Go to the shaft behind the one you bounced up before. Face the wall the flipped up metal panels are sticking out from, across the springboard. Run onto it and jump. Bounce up and land on the metal panels. Walk to the end opposite the Gold Bell (#2). Face it and shoot it to ring it, which opens one of the bar gates below you. Jump onto the slanted ledge and slide to the floor. Leave the shaft and turn left. Go to the springboard under the long slot in the ceiling above it. Face the wall with the Gold Bell (#3) above you. Walk backwards until Lara's heels are almost touching the springboard. Get out your pistols and press and at the same time, and Lara should bounce up and forward so you can shoot the bell. (I don't know why jumping backwards like this should make her go forwards and up, but it does.) The second bar gate is now open. She'll slide down safely to ground level after shooting the bell.
Walk around to the shaft and under the open bar gates into another shaft. As you walk in, go to the left side of the springboard in the corner. Face it and put your guns away. Run onto the board and jump. Grab the sloped ledge above and shimmy to the right. Pull up onto the slope, pull out your guns, and backflip onto the sloped ledge behind you. Shoot the Gold Bell (#4) above the first slope while you flip or while you slide. After you hear the bell ring, let Lara drop to the flat ledge below. The bars up and to the left (as you face the bell) are now raised. Drop back down to floor level.
Face the springboard again, with the raised bars in the shaft behind you. Run onto the board and jump. Grab the ledge and pull up. Climb the ladder and get off it at a ledge. Turn and face the room. Walk to the ledge above the bars and look out over a room with windows and the shaft below you. Do a running jump to the floor to your left and kill the Yeti that will come out of the unbarred window opening. With the two windows that look out on the mountains outside to your left, walk forwards to the open window. Notice the Stone Dragon through the barred window next to it.
Pull up onto the windowsill and look down into a long stone cavern. Kill the white tiger that comes in the opposite end. Drop into the cavern and find the dark, triangular opening in the right-hand wall. Jump in and walk towards the window. Climb up onto the windowsill and get SECRET 2 - STONE DRAGON. Go back out to the cavern and jump across to the ledge on the other side. Turn right and walk back into the dark area. Pick up a medikit. Return to the cavern and drop to the lowest floor level. Don't go straight across yet -- it leads to a locked eye door. Walk to the end where the tiger came out at you and turn left at the end and enter a bigger cavern. Kill three more tigers. Go to the decorated block at the other end and climb up to get the TIBETAN MASK. Turn and go back to the narrower cavern and take the left turn into the passage to the eye door, which is now open.
Go through the door and drop onto a balcony behind bars. You are now in a part of this level that overlaps the previous level and are in the places you could see but not get to before. Walk left and drop down a hole to the balcony below. Walk around the corner to the left and kill a Yeti. You are standing in a room with empty flame pots and long, rectangular holes in the floor. You can hear a Yeti below in the dark. Go to the far end of the room and pick up the medikit. Throw some flares down the closest hole. Drop backwards and hang on the edge of the hole nearest you (on the side by the flame pot). Drop down and kill the Yeti below -- watch out for spikes in the floor as you move around. Get ammo in the corner under the entrance to the room above.
Pull up into the opening where you can see the red columns. Turn right and get a medikit. Return to the other end of the balcony and place the Tibetan Mask in the holder on the wall to open the eye door near you. Drop back into the room and turn right. Pull up by the open eye door and walk out onto the bridge. Stop, turn left, and do a running jump over to the snowy block against the wall of the cavern. Pick up flares and jump back over to the bridge. If you fall off, you can climb back up these blocks. Cross the bridge and turn left and go down into a tunnel. You are high in the wall of the cavern with the red flame bowl. Jump to the next small ledge and throw the T-switch to tip hot liquid out of the flame bowl. It melts the ice below it.
Jump onto the sloped ledge below you (towards the bowl) and draw your guns. Two tigers will come out of the smaller cavern at you. Kill them and go into that cavern. Climb up the ledges by the entrance, drop down behind them, and jump into the water. Pick up some Uzi ammo from the place the Tibetan Mask was, in the previous level. Swim back out, climb the blocks, and go back to the melted ice. Jump in the water and get the GONG HAMMER from the block directly below. Swim back up and get out. Shoot two catfish that should have come after you if you stayed in the water long enough.
Jump back in and swim to the left (as you face the bowl.) Swim up and surface in a chamber with three Yeti in it on the shore. Notice the icicles above the shoreline. Wade towards the spot where the icicles will fall, and try to get them to fall without hitting you. That way, they won't hit you accidentally while you are fighting the Yeti. As you get into shallow water, the Yeti will rush at you and try to hit you. Use your grenade launcher to kill them quickly while you are still in the shallow water. Get out of the water and head for the left passage. Kill a Yeti that comes out of the doorway at you. Jump into the doorway on the left side so the icicles will fall and miss you. Light a flare and walk down into a dark cavern. When you get to the snow wall across the end, a Yeti will climb over it. Kill him and drop over the wall. Pick up a lot of grenades back there and climb back out. Walk up to the opening and out to the cavern with the water in it. This time take the other passage (the right-hand passage).
Pick up a medikit at the base of snowy stair blocks. Approach the steps and kill the Yeti who will come down from the top at you. Climb the blocks to the top and turn right. Approach the entrance to a larger cave with a lot of snowballs in it. As you step near the entrance, a number of snowballs will roll by. After they do, enter the cave. The field of snowballs will not move until you are part way down the slope. Run down the slope towards the doorway in the lower right corner. As you approach it, jump into the opening. The snowballs will pile up harmlessly behind you.
Turn left and walk (don't run) to the top of an icy cliff. You are at one end of a long room with a very deep pit below you. Turn around, slide backwards, grab and hang from the edge, and shimmy left. When you are almost to the other end, pull up and immediately do a backflip with a twist and land on the ledge behind you. Walk to the next ledge up and jump across another pit. Grab the ice ladder and climb up. When you see the opening in the wall above you, shimmy sideways so you can pull up into it. Walk into the next room, which has a snowy sloped floor. Make sure your health is very high at this point. Stand in the middle of the top of the slope, turn around, and slide backwards. Grab the edge and then drop in front of a giant GONG. DO NOT hit the Gong yet! It will summon something you do not want to see yet.
Climb down off the pile of ice on either side of the Gong and work your way down to floor level (which is ice in this part.) Go to the far end of the cavern past the blue ice columns to the far left corner (as you face away from the Gong.) Find the ladder on the wall, jump to it, and grab on. Climb down to a block below. Light a fuse to see, and drop off to the left (there are spikes at ground level to the right.) Drop down one more block and throw the T-switch on it to open an eye door in the building back at the Gong end of the cavern. Pull back up the blocks to the ladder and use it to climb up. Backflip off the ladder to the snow behind you. Go back to the building with the eye door.
Climb through the door and drop into the room. Climb up on the pillar in the middle and get SECRET 3 - JADE DRAGON. Leave this building. Go to the far side of the ice pile with the Gong on top and climb that side back up to the Gong. Hit the GONG with the GONG HAMMER. This breaks the ice in the doorways under the Gong. Climb down either side and drop to door level. Jump through the door to the big block with the dragon symbol on it and pick up the TALION. Climb back out and slide down to ground level (on the ice). The Gong has summoned a very large Black Feathered Creature, who will come after you as soon as you are at ground level.
Use the grenade launcher to shoot him, and be sure to keep running and flipping! He moves fairly quickly and packs a mean punch. It will take quite a number of direct hit to kill him and END LEVEL.

Lara leaves the caves, steals a jeep, and escapes the mountains. She drives back to the Great Wall and uses the Talion to unlock the Red Dragon Door.

TEMPLE OF XIAN - Level 15
Walk through two rooms with dragon sconces in the walls. Walk out into a very large room onto a bridge that leads to the pedestal with the Dagger of Xian on it. Before you can grab it, the floor will drop out from under you. You are in for a long and wild ride all the way to a pool at the bottom. The Gold Dragon can be gotten during the ride before you get to the last pool, but it's tricky. If you miss it, you cannot go get it later in the level. Save before you step near the pedestal.
When the floor drops and you start down the first brick slide, jump over the knife. When you get to the end, you'll drop to another brick slide. Do a backflip with a twist as you start to slide backwards. You need to be facing forwards down the second slide. When you see water rushing past the opening you are approaching, be ready to jump forwards and turn Lara in mid-air to face upstream (left) during the jump. Now she will be sliding backwards down the water. After she falls over a very short drop, hold down so she will grab the very lip of the waterfall. Shimmy to the left to the rock alcove. Pull up and get SECRET 1 - GOLD DRAGON. Jump out into the pool below and get washed down to the lower pool.
Swim up and get out onto a brown ledge by a ladder. Kill two gold fish. Jump back in the water and swim down and to the right towards the lighter area under the wall. Swim through the short tunnel and turn sharply to the right. Head for the wall and find the small tunnel down low in the wall. Swim down and get the medikit. Also take note of the key behind the grate -- you will get this later. Swim back out to the pool and wade ashore. You are in a cavern with a Temple at one end and a doorway to your right. Turn left and climb the light-colored ledges to your left (as you face the Temple). Pick up some ammo. Drop back down into the Temple pool and wade back to shore.
Start towards the left side of the Temple and shoot the tiger that comes after you. Walk to the side of the Temple and find the decorative square on the ground. This is a springboard. Run onto it and bounce up to the roof of the Temple. Walk around the roof to the other side and throw a T-switch, which opens the grate over the ladder in the previous pool (where you shot the fish.) Watch for and kill an eagle that comes after you when you throw the switch. Drop off the Temple roof to the ground. Jump into the water and swim under and through the tunnel to the next pool.
Climb out of the water onto the brown ledge and climb up the ladder. Pull up, walk through a passage, and drop onto a gray ledge above a lava pit. Drop off the edge backwards and shimmy to the ladder, climb down it as far as you can go. Let go, fall, and immediately grab the ladder below. Don't climb down this ladder. Shimmy left along the crack until you can pull up. Walk to the next ladder and climb down it as far as you can. Let go, fall, and immediately grab the top of the ladder below. Don't climb down. Pull up and walk to the right around the corner. Drop off backwards and hang, shimmy to the right until you can pull up. Pick up SECRET 2 - STONE DRAGON.
Drop off backwards near the crack, hang, and shimmy back to the left. Pull up when you can and walk on that ledge as far as possible away from the Stone Dragon's ledge. Watch out for little spiders jumping on Lara. Jump over to the tall ladder on the pillar. Grab it and climb up to the top. Pull up, face the wall and climb the next ladder. Go through the opening in the wall and turn right into a passage with a red grate in the floor. Turn right again to a wooden-floored passage to the next room. Drop into a pink room with a spike pit and a greenish wall ladder.
Climb up the green ladder to the crack and shimmy all the way to the right. Do a backflip with a twist and land on the short roof behind you. Slide down it and grab the edge. Pull up and do another back flip with a twist to land on the flat part of the roof over the ladder. Walk up over the roof and stand in the center facing the breakaway floor below over the lava. Run out onto it and stop at the far end. Let the flooring break and drop you onto a platform in the middle of the lava. Pick up the ammo. Do a running jump to the doorway, slide down, jump over the spikes, and land on another sloping rock. Slide again and jump over more spikes. Grab the edge of the next block and pull up. Turn right and jump over to the flat ledge against the wall. Drop to the brick ledge next to you and then drop from there to the floor between the spikes. Pick up grenades.
Climb back up the same ledges and jump up and grab the crack in the dark wall. Shimmy left and pull up when you can. Walk forwards and throw the T-switch, which opens the big Gold Temple Doors. Walk to the end of the passage next to the switch and jump into the pool next to the waterfall. Swim down and through the tunnel to the Temple pool and get out. Kill a tiger as you approach the door. Enter the Temple and go around the pink block. You are facing a hall with a lot of soldiers in alcoves along the sides. The soldiers with the swords will start chopping when you get close to them. Go to the last one on the right (as you enter) and pick up the goody in front of it.
Continue to the far wall (opposite where you came in) and notice the "keyhole" and door. Go into the gray stone doorway to its right. Climb up the stone ledges. You are looking out over a tan rocky cavern with lava below and many sloping ledges at right angles to each other. It would be a good idea to save now! The next series of jumps must be done with no pauses. Do a running jump to the top of the first long sloped ledge, slide forwards and jump to the top of the next sloped ledge that faces right. Slide forwards and jump to the next small sloped ledge that faces left. Slide only a little bit, and jump to the next small sloped ledge that faces left. Immediately jump and grab the flat ledge in front of you. Pull up onto it. Once you make it here, save again.
Climb the ledges to the top of the cavern. Walk to the edge of the top ledge near the wall (which will be on your right.) Do a running jump and grab the small ledge near the doorway in the wall. Face the doorway. There is a T-switch in the short passage that cannot be pulled. Walk towards it and the floor will drop out from under you. Fall to the bricks below and slide into a room with two moving spiked walls, one on either side of you. Run to the far end of the room and throw the T-switch to open a gate in the wall directly behind you. Get the medikit only if you have time. Run to the open doorway before getting caught by the closing spikes.
Enter the doorway and turn right around the corner. Enter a room with figures painted on the walls. Run up a gray ramp and into the alcove on the right, so a red metal ball can roll harmlessly by. If you look up, you can see there are a few other metal balls by the ceiling that you must watch out for. Walk to the top of the gray ramp and turn left. Run across the short gray ramp at an angle towards the left so when the ball falls, you are standing to the left, out of its way. Walk up the wooden ledge and walk onto the next gray ramp. Run to the top of it and sideflip off so the last ball misses you as it rolls down the ramp.
Walk up to the top of the last ramp and climb up the ladder. Climb up the next ladder as well, and pull up onto a ledge overlooking a dark room. Light a flare and drop into the room. Walk to the opposite corner past the pillars. Throw the T-switch, which opens a door in the wall to your left and lets a tiger out. Kill the tiger and climb into the doorway. You are facing a ladder on the other side of a vertical shaft. There are two slashing knives below you. Try to time the knives and jump down past them -- you will get cut a little. At the bottom, you slide into an alcove off a small, dark room with two rolling disks in it. Use a flare. Walk forwards until you are standing near where the two disks come together. Run past them to the doorway in the corner as soon as they begin rolling away from each other.
Run through the doorway and out onto a red wooden bridge over the Temple's main hall with the soldiers below you. Kill two eagles. Jump over to the red wall to your left (as you entered.) Push the button switch on the wall, which opens the large doors at the other end of the hall behind you. They are timed, so you must turn around and do a quick series of running jumps across the bridges to get through the doors before they close. If you fall to the floor below, go to the gray stone doorway and climb up the now-open passage to the right, which takes you up to the bridge again.
Walk along a corridor to a doorway. You are looking into a room with four swinging spiked barrels and lava below. There is enough room to stop Lara between the barrels, so you don't need to time all of them for one run. Once you get to the last barrel, face at an angle to the right and jump over the lava and past the barrel to the platform sticking out of the wall. Face the switch squarely and push it (it closes the floor grate in the passage in front of you.) Immediately sideflip to the left and push the next switch to open the door farther along down the passage. Run fast down the passage and keep running when you get to the gray brick. A ball is now rolling along behind you and is overtaking you. As soon as you can, turn and face the bricks, and jump off backwards. Grab the edge and hang there until the ball rolls by. Pull up and face the Dragon statue.
Walk to the end of the walkway near the Dragon. Do a running jump and grab the ledge sticking out below its head. Pull up and get THE DRAGON SEAL. Jump over to the flat stone ledge to the left of the Dragon. Don't stand too close to the Dragon itself, or you won't be able to make the jump. You must do a running jump off the point of the square ledge you are on. You may have to turn Lara in mid-air to land on the ledge. Climb the ledges to the passage behind the Dragon. Enter and kill some spiders. Use a flare to find the T-switch on the wall and pick up some ammo. Throw the switch, which rearranges the blocks and ledges out in the room in front of the Dragon. Briefly go out the other opening and drop down a level and pick up some ammo. Go back into the passage and out the side you first entered.
Drop down all the ledges until you are at the bottom by the lava. Jump to the farthest stone square in front of you and turn left on it. You are facing a sloped rock up against a tall piece of the walkway. Do a running jump from the right side of the square you are on and land on the sloped block. Slide forwards and jump quickly. Grab the lip of the next taller, dark block. Pull up onto it and slide forwards. Again jump quickly, and Lara should land on the top of the flat, dark block. Turn right and face the taller dark block against the wall. Do a running jump, grab the edge and pull up. Turn right again and do another running jump to land on the low dark block.
The next block between you and the slope of red ridges is a springblock (it's decorated and used to have a flame on it.) Stand at the edge nearest the springblock and do a swan dive onto it ( ). Lara will bounce up to the red ridge and slide backwards a little bit. As soon as she stops, jump backwards off the edge and grab it. Hang on as a red ball rolls over her and into the lava below. Pull up. Walk to the bottom of the short slope and sideflip right to the flat ledge on the next ridge. Immediately sideflip left and let a ball roll by. Sideflip right back to the flat ledge. From this flat ledge (with a black design on it), jump to the next higher brick ledge (heading further into the room). Then jump to the next higher one up against the wall.
Step off into the lighter brick slope between the red ridges and slide forwards. When you hit the springboard at the bottom, you will bounce up to the wooden platform sticking out of the wall up high. Turn right and face the wooden platform across the room (the Dragon statue is to your left.) Do a running jump and grab the edge. Pull up and get SECRET 3- JADE DRAGON. Face the red ridges and stand against the wall, do a running jump and land on the flat ledge below. Use the same method you did before to jump to the top of the red slope using the flat ledges. When you are near the top and facing the doorway in the upper wall, watch for an eagle to come after you. Jump straight across the slope at the top, using the flat ledges and enter the doorway.
You are in a pink room with a movable block with a face on it. Pull it out twice and go behind it to a dark little room. Throw the T-switch around the corner to the right, which drops open a piece of the floor next to you. Drop into the hole and land in front of a red metal ball. Face away from it and run down the passage. The ball will follow you. Turn left at the end and slide down into another passage to avoid the ball. You are back on the bridge over the Temple main hall. Stay up here and kill two tigers below. Drop down and go to the locked doorway. Place The Dragon Seal in the holder on the wall and open the door.
Go through and down a ramp in a light gray passage. Turn left and notice the rolling disk. When it starts to roll away from you, follow it and stop in the first alcove on the right. Face the passage. When it rolls by you going left, run right along the passage to the next alcove, which is on the left. face the passage. When the disk rolls past you again going to the right, run left to the end of the passage and turn right. Slide down into a shallow pool in a room with three real T-switches and many fakes on the wall. The spiked ceiling is moving down at you. Pick up the medikit in the middle and then throw the switches in this order: (1) the switch opposite where you slid in; (2) the one to its left; and (3) the one opposite that one. This will not stop the ceiling but will open a door to the left of the last switch.
Run through the door into a room with a waterfall. Climb up on the block to the right. Turn and do a running jump and grab the higher block across the waterfall. Pull up and turn right to look out over a swimming pool with green tiles with dragons on them. Kill the gold fish. Jump in a swim down to the far right corner and pull the bar switch, which closes a panel in the far end of the tunnel behind you. This raises the water level. Swim up to the top above where you jumped in and pull out on the gray ledge. Get grenades and a medikit.
Swim back down and turn left into the green-tiled tunnel. Swim to the end and turn right into a small side tunnel opposite a bar switch. Swim to the end and pick up a medikit and pull the bar switch to open the door behind you. You may need to get air at this point, so swim out to the big tunnel, turn left, and go to the pool and up to get air. Swim back down the tunnel to the small tunnel. Turn right and enter the little alcove and pull the bar switch in there. Swim back out to the big tunnel and pull the bar switch. This drains the water a bit and pulls you quickly back to the pool. Swim down and enter the open gate by the first switch you pulled. Pull the bar switch in there to open a gate up high in the pool. Swim out and turn right. Pull the first bar switch again to raise the water level. Swim up to the gate which is at the opposite end from where the waterfall was.
Pull out and stand in the doorway. Kill a gold fish in a dark pool. Jump in and get the shotgun shells on the bottom. Climb up the block in the middle and pick up some more ammo. If you look up, you can see the room with the two spike walls that you had been in previously. Go to the end of the pool opposite the waterfall. Enter the doorway and notice the spike wall to your right. Run across the room to the T-switch, and pull it to open a trapdoor to your left. Run to the hole in the floor and drop in before the spike wall gets to you. You'll slide into water and get sucked quickly down a narrow tunnel underwater. When the current slows, you can pick up the GOLD KEY and swim out and to the right back to the Temple pool.
Get air, and then swim down and left through the tunnel to the pool with the brown ledge and ladder. Climb out on the brown ledge and use the Gold Key to open the Gold Key Door. Jump in the water and swim down the tunnel. Turn right at the end and enter an opening next to a face block. The door to this dark cavern will close behind you. Swim to the far side of the first pillar on your right. Pull the bar switch there to open a door, so you can swim out. Turn left and then right to swim out and escape the gold fish that has been bothering you in there. Swim left and go back up the tunnel and get out on the brown ledge. Kill the gold fish, which should have followed you.
Jump back in and go down the tunnel and back into the cavern with the switch. Pick up the medikit in there and swim back out. This time, go straight and then up through an open gate. Swim straight up and get out on a brown ledge between waterfalls in a rocky cavern. Kill another fish. Walk into a dim tunnel with lots of spider webs. Throw some flares around so you can see, and be wary of spiders. Pick up all the ammo you see, and watch for spiders near the ammo in particular. When you get to the big web on the right, a really big spider will come at you after you step through it. Shoot it and pick up Uzi clips.
Continue to the end of the tunnel and stop when you can see a big cave with a white glowing ball (a spider egg mass) up high in the ceiling. Two more big spiders should come after you near here. Cross the cave to the other side and climb up on the low red block. Pull up and face the next red block counterclockwise from you. Do a running jump and grab it. Pull up, turn around, and do a standing jump to grab the thin ledge sticking out of the wall. Do a running jump from the corner of this ledge to the next small red ledge (now going clockwise.) When you jump over to the L-shaped red ledge, a big spider will come after you on it, so have your guns ready!
Kill the spider and do a running jump to the top of the central pillar under the white ball. Do a running jump from there and grab the pillar by the red doorway. Pull up and do a standing jump to the red doorway. Pull up into it. Enter the passage and go up to the next doorway. You are now looking out over a pool where you were earlier before entering the spider tunnels. There is a key on the rocks on the opposite side of the cavern. Do a running jump and grab the edge of the lower block. Pull up and get the SILVER KEY, which goes to a door near the Temple.
Jump into the water and swim straight down through the opening in the grate. Follow the tunnel and take the first right and swim up that tunnel up to the pool with the brown ledge and ladder. Swim down and through the tunnel to the Temple pool. Get out at the right side (as you face the Temple.) Climb the blocks to the Silver Key Door and open it. Enter and climb the lowest block. Stand at its left side and face upslope. Do a standing jump to the closest block and grab its edge. You may have to turn Lara in mid-air to do this. After you pull up, a ball will roll at you, so sideflip right and let it go by. Climb and jump back to that same block. Do the same type of standing jump to get to the third block. Again, as you pull up, a ball will roll toward you, so sideflip left and let it go by. Jump back to the third block and pull up again.
Walk straight ahead and pick up ammo in the stone chamber. Walk back out and turn right. Walk through a doorway and out onto the bridge that crosses the cavern in front of the Temple (which is to your right.) As you cross, you will see a tiger at the far end, and an eagle will fly at you from the Temple. Kill them and continue across. Walk through the doorway and the end of the bridge and enter a room with pink walls and gray stone ledges. Kill a tiger in here. Walk to the low side of the right-hand block and pull up on it. Immediately do a backflip to land on top of the block behind you.
Jump over to the pink block and pull up onto the taller one by the doorway. Enter a small room with a disk rolling back and forth on a stone ledge. Go to the far end of the room, and time the roll of the disk so you can jump onto the lower ledge as it rolls left. Immediately jump back and hang from the edge. Wait until the disk starts to roll away again to pull up and jump right to the second ledge. At this point you have a choice. If you go left, you can get some Uzi ammo but will have to work your way back to this same spot. If you do NOT want the ammo, skip to the next paragraph. Otherwise, turn left and slide backwards and hang over lava at the edge. Climb down the ladder, let go, fall, and grab the ledge below. Pull up and get the Uzi ammo. Walk down the light colored hall and drop through the hole in the floor, which puts you back in the water outside the Temple. Repeat everything to get back to the second ledge above the rolling disk.
Turn right and pull up into a red room with a skeleton, Uzi ammo, a medikit, and a non-moving disk. Pick up the ammo and medikit. The disk won't start rolling until you go through the door and out onto the bridge. Run out the door and across the bridge. At the end, turn left and stand by the switch, where the disk can't hit you. Push the switch, which opens a pair of big gold doors. Kill the eagle that comes at you. Follow the disk as it rolls away across the bridge, but turn left and jump to the rocks before the doorway. There are two ladders you can see on the wall across the cavern that lead to a little cave with a medikit. As far as I know, this is a time-waster (a dead-end intended to waste your time ), but you shouldn't need the medikit at this point.
Wait until the disk rolls out and starts across the bridge. Jump over to the bridge and turn right and run back into the room. Go to the second ledge above the rolling disk and jump over all the ledges to the lowest level. Turn right and go out to the pink ledges. Jump at an angle over to the gray stone at the base of the long slope. Walk to the lowest sloped block, stand up against it, and face it. Do a backflip onto the springboard behind you. This will bounce Lara up and forwards to the next springboard. Hit and on each bounce and she will make it all the way to the top, reach, and grab the upper ledge (four bounces in all.) Pull up, turn around, and kill the eagle. This is another good place to save!
Jump over to the sloped ledge in the wall up and to your right (as you face the springboards.) Use a standing jump at a slight angle and grab the edge. Pull up and walk through the gold doors opened by the switch across the bridge. Walk into a large room with lava. You are on a platform at the level of the lava. Two dragons' bodies twist around pillars in this room with their heads up high. Walk to the end of the platform you're on and jump over to the little platform against the wall under the keyhole to the right. You are standing outside and at one end of a room on your right which has a spike wall in it. Jump into the room but stay near the lava. Run to the other end and jump onto the block (don't climb) and quickly start climbing the ladder to get above the spikes. The spikes will stick out over the lava, so you can't stay on the block for long.
Climb up and then shimmy right. Drop onto the brick ledge once you are over it. Turn around and climb the brick ledges to your left (on the roof of the building.) Pull up and notice the spike wall to the left at the top in the red passage. Turn right and run down the passage, jump over the spike pit, and grab the ladder at the end. Climb up and pull onto a ledge. You can see one of the dragon heads in front of you through a red grate. Turn and walk along the passage past more grates. You will pass a large grate on the right through which you can see the other dragon's head. Walk to the far end of the passage and turn right. Throw the T-switch to open one of the smaller grates you just passed. Turn and walk back to the open grate at the bend in the passage.
Step out onto a small ledge facing the first dragon. Notice the key on the column near it. Turn left and do a running jump and grab the next small ledge. Do a standing jump to the next small ledge on the next wall. Turn and do a standing jump to the column with the key on it. Grab the edge, pull up, and pick up the MAIN CHAMBER KEY. Step off the column onto the flat part of the dragon's body. Step off backwards onto the next section of the body which is sloped, and Lara starts sliding. She will slide all the way down and around the column -- but you must jump her forwards when you are at the top of the last section and grab the flat block. Pull up and walk down to the lowest block . Do a running jump over to the platform next to the open door (you are jumping between the door and the dragon and over the lava.) Walk to the end of the platform and jump to the little platform by the keyhole again. Use the Main Chamber Key, which flips down two grates by the dragon behind you.
Turn around and jump back over to the larger platform. Do a running jump onto the red grate sticking out from the stone column. Do a standing jump from the edge of the grate to the stone block under the ladder. Climb up the ladder. With Lara's hands on the second rung from the top, do a backflip and land on a small ledge behind you. Turn and throw the T-switch which temporarily turns off the flames on the blocks near you. It also opens a grate up above where you can't see it. Don't try to jump to the blocks with the flames, because it's another time-waster. Do a running jump back to the ladder. Grab it and climb up. Then shimmy right as far as you can and drop onto the block on the right (it has no flames.)
Turn around and walk to the edge above the spikes. Do a standing jump and grab the ladder. Climb up into the passage above (this open grate is what was opened by the switch below.) Walk forwards and turn left at the bend in the passage and go out the open grate (not the one on the right that you already went through.) Walk out onto the small ledge facing the second dragon. Turn left and do a running jump and grab the next small ledge. Do a standing jump to the ledge in the corner. Do a running jump to the sloped ledge, and make sure you slide forwards when you land. Immediately jump to the flat part of the dragon's body before you drop onto the sloped part and slide into the lava.
Climb the ladder on the column until you are just under the slashing knife. Hold on with Lara's hands two rungs below the one to which the knife is attached. Do a backflip with a twist and land on the sloping block behind you. Slide forwards, jump, and grab the next ladder. Climb up until Lara's hands are on the rung under the knife. Again, do a backflip with a twist and grab the ladder behind you. Climb up that ladder and shimmy to the right into an opening in a gray wall. Drop off the ladder and save. Enter a red hallway and you will see a cutscene then END LEVEL.

Lara walks out to where she can see the large room with the red Dragon Pedestal. Bartoli picks up the Dagger of Xian and stabs himself in the heart with it. His men carry him out, and Lara follows.

FLOATING ISLANDS - Level 16
You begin by standing high on a promontory looking out over large and small floating stone and green islands. Be very careful not to fall off any of these! It's a long way down to nothing. Walk ahead to the green steps. Look down and to your left, and find the medikit below on the rocks. Go down and get it. There is a green statue of a man with a sword kneeling nearby. This is one of the guards in this level. They come alive at inappropriate times and try to kill you. Others have spears and guns, and the ones outside (where you are now) can fly. They take a lot of ammo to kill so be conservative with what you use up.
If you walk past this statue and up to the slope at the base of the building, he will come to life and you can kill him. Listen for the sounds they make, as it is important to have some advance warning, especially later in the level. Climb back up to the green steps. There should be another statue flying towards you from the direction of the gold cage. Use the M-16 to target him from far away and kill him. From the green steps, face the small green floating island and jump to the left sloped side. Slide backwards and grab the edge. Drop to the flatter ledge below. Do a running jump to the next floating green island and pick up the MYSTIC PLAQUE (with an S-shape on it.) Do a running jump and grab the next small floating green island. Pull up and do a standing jump to the stone island with the building on it.
Be ready to kill the left-hand spearman statue, which will come alive. There are two more that won't come to life yet. Walk under the building and turn right. Walk to the edge, jump off backwards from the stone section, and hang from the edge. Shimmy until you are over the green lump in the edge below you. Release and grab that edge. Pull up into a green room with a green checkerboard floor. Walk down the steps and turn around to the left. Throw the T-switch on the wall, which opens the bar gate behind you. Go to the edge of the floor in front of the doorway and do a running jump to it. Walk to the end of the bars and do a running jump to the floating green island in front of you. Walk forward and jump up to the flat spot to your left.
You are looking out over a group of very small green islands and larger step-like green islands. Do a running jump and grab the lowest small green ledge sticking out of the left side of the large island. Do another running jump and grab the tiny green island. Do a running jump and grab the lowest step of the "staircase" island. Climb the stairs to the top (towards the dragon island.) Turn right and jump to the next green staircase. Climb to the top and walk out onto the gold cage. At this point, you should start listening for the two swordsman statues coming from the dragon island behind you. Kill them as they fly towards you. It's best to not let them get too close.
Walk to the end of the cage near where you first entered this level (you'll see a small, pale-green building at the top of the island.) Stand at the left side of this end of the cage. Turn around and backflip onto the short green slope below you. Slide, and immediately jump forward and grab the floor of the open end of the cage. Pull up and walk straight ahead. Throw the T-switch to open the trapdoor in the underside of the building over the remaining two spearman statues. It also opens the bars at the narrow end of the cage. Go that way and slide down the rock ramp. Jump to the flat block before you fall into darkness below.
The next spearman statue comes alive when you step onto the stone island. Kill him and walk to the trapdoor. Pull up into the room above. Get ammo and a medikit and pick up another MYSTIC PLAQUE (this one with a barred circle on it.) The last spearman statue has now awakened and is stomping around below you. Jump down and kill him with the M-16. Use a medikit in the middle of the fight if you have to -- there's not a lot of room to maneuver on this island, and you can't let him get close. Once he's dead, walk to the tree on the rock ledge to the right (as you face the building from where the statues were.) Pull up onto it and face the roof. Do a standing jump and grab the roof edge. Pull up, walk over the roof, and pick up SECRET 1 - JADE DRAGON.
Drop back off the roof and walk to the other side of the island to where you dropped down to the green room with the checkerboard floor before. Drop backwards and hang on the edge. Let go and grab the green ledge below. Pull up and cross the green room. Jump through the doorway and stand at the end of the bars. Jump from the bars to the small green island. Jump to the flat spot at the end on the left. Do a running jump to the small end of the next floating green island. Do another running jump and grab the tiny floating island. From there ,do a running jump and grab the lowest step of the green "staircase" island. Climb to the top step and jump over to the island on the right. Turn left and do a running jump and grab the edge of the ledge sticking out of the dragon island.
Pull up and pick up the Uzi ammo near the two alcoves where the spearman statues were standing. Place the two Mystic Plaques in the holders on either side of the dragon door. The one with the barred circle goes on the right, and the one with the S-symbol goes on the left. Walk through the doorway after it opens. You are facing a bridge that leads across to a temple with fire on its roof. Watch for a flying statue to rise up from near the bridge. Kill him and go to the big tree to the right of the bridge (as you face it.) There is an opening in the rock wall behind the tree. Enter and walk down the passage and slide into the alcove at the end. Pick up SECRET 2 - STONE DRAGON. Do a sideflip to get up to the passage again. Walk back out past the tree.
Continue across the area by the bridge (with the bridge on your right) to the narrow green slope. Walk up the green slope to the green boulder. Backflip over the boulder at an angle so you land on the roof to the left (as you first faced the boulder). If you cannot do this, there will be another opportunity to get to this roof later. Drop through the hole in the roof to the green block below, and drop to the floor of the orange room. There is a hole in the floor of this room, and you can see some gray floor below. Drop to it and cross the area to pick up a medikit. Kill the gunman statue. Climb back up into the orange room, pull up onto the green block. Stand at the upper end and face the lower. Do a standing jump and grab the edge of the roof above. Pull up, walk straight ahead, and pull up on a rock ledge. Walk forward and slide back down to ground level on the other side. You are back near the bridge.
Walk back up the green slope to the green boulder. This time, backflip straight over it and land on the green ramp behind it. Slide down with the boulder following you. When you stop sliding, backflip again. You will land on another green ramp, and another boulder will roll at you. Jump back to the first ramp so it misses you. Jump back over to the second ramp and walk up to the gray stone section. Face the floating green island with the rope slide attached to it. Do a running jump and grab the green edge. Pull up and stand in front of the rope slide with guns holstered. Press , and Lara will grab the handle and start sliding. Let go of when she's over the lower bridge and drop onto it.
Turn right and enter the building. Don't take the first right yet. Walk into the room and turn left. Walk towards the orange banners which causes them to rise and reveals three spearman statues. Approach and the center one will come to life. Kill him. Throw the T-switch that is between the other two statues, which raises a panel at the far end of the rope slide. Both spearmen will come to life. There is not enough room to kill the them in here (unless you use up a lot of medikits), so run to the other end of the room and take the small hallway near the doorway instead of going out on the bridge. Grab the rope slide in the green room and slide to the ladder on the wall. Grab it and climb up to escape the statues. At the top, shimmy to the right and drop off onto a ledge. Walk to the edge, turn around, and drop off backwards. Grab, hang, and shimmy left on the crack. Let go and drop down to the orange room.
At this point you can go out the hole in the floor and get the medikit if you didn't before. Otherwise, climb the green block and pull up onto the roof. Go straight ahead to the rocky ledge and pull up. Slide over to the side with the upper bridge. Walk back up the green slope and slide down the ramp. Jump over to the other ramp and walk up to the gray stone section. Do a running jump and grab the floating green island with the rope slide again. This time, hang onto it all the way to the end. When you drop off into the opening in the wall, turn around, and kill the two spearman statues who are roaming up and down the lower bridge.
Face the green room with lava and fire on each side. Jump down to the right of the center trough. Kill a swordsman statue which will try to sneak up on you from behind the pillars next to you. Jump across the center trough and go to the short wall where the face is shooting out disks. Another swordsman will come after you -- remember to listen for them. Kill him and face the wall with the face (to one side of it.) Jump and grab the edge and pull up. Immediately backflip to the platform behind you. Climb onto the low dark wall and pick up some ammo. Drop back to the platform and walk around the pillar to the T-switch. When you throw it, a block will rise up in the middle of the bottom of the center trough.
Drop down to floor level and walk over to the center trough. Walk to the left end of it and jump backwards onto the slope inside it. Slide forwards and jump to the block in the middle. Stay out of the way of the disks during the slide down. Walk into the passage to the left of the block. Throw the T-switch, which drops open metal panels in the fire on the left side of this room (looking at it as you first came in.) Walk back out onto the block and turn left. Stay to the right side of the trough and do a standing jump and grab the ledge (you are near the face shooting the disks.) Pull up and climb the ledges out of the trough. Go to the short wall with the face and pull up. Backflip from there to the platform behind you again. Climb up on the short wall and face the fire where you can see the open panels.
Stand in the middle of the wall and do a running jump. Hold down so Lara reaches a little farther and falls through the hole without touching the flames. Land in water. This room has a fire ceiling, green walls and columns in the deep end of the pool. Swim down and pick up shotgun shells. Swim up and head for the shallow end and the T-switch on the wall. Throw the switch, which opens a metal panel at the end of the center trough in the other room, and opens a door at the deep end so you can leave. Swim to the deep end, then down and left. Swim through a tunnel, but stop as soon as the passage opens out. Swim straight up. Don't try to swim under the knives in the tunnel ahead -- there's not enough room. Pull up on the ledge behind you and throw the T-switch to stop the knives from slashing.
Jump in the water and wade down the passage past the knives. Pull up to the left of the face in the wall of the small shallow pool you are standing in. Walk to the next face block, but don't get hit by the disks. Climb up and climb into a passage while avoiding the disks coming from a face behind you. Turn right when you get to a hallway (left leads to some green spikes.) Jump out to the right to the floor at the top of the center trough. Turn around and face the opening you just jumped through. Do a running jump and grab the edge above the opening. Pull up and walk to the opening that looks out over the green spikes. Do a running jump and grab the crack in the wall opposite. Shimmy right and pull up. Throw the T-switch to open the bar gate you just passed in the hall outside. Do a running jump back over to the same place, and walk forward and right to the now-open door.
You enter a green room with two locked dragon gates, two spearman statues, and a large hole in the floor. Slide into the hole backwards on the side away from the two statues and grab the edge. Drop to the room below. You are in a room with bars on three sides of the section you are in, and statues outside the bars. There is a T-switch on a block near you, and there are guys in black with knives outside. Climb up on the block next to the tall one where you dropped in. Walk to the back of it and see if the guys in black come for you. If they do, shoot them. Do not drop off this block towards the back, or the statues will come to life, and you have very little space in which to kill them. Drop into the cage area and throw the T-switch to raise the bars. Run and get back up on the block.
There are now four guys with knives out there, and you can be patient and shoot them one at a time from up here. If you feel brave, drop down and kill them, but don't leave the area under the bars yet. After they are dead, drop down to the floor and run out past the bars to the left of the T-switch block. Go far enough to step on the lower floor. Run back to the block you were on and climb back up. A spearman statue has awakened and will come from the columns behind the T-switch. Kill him from the safety of the block. Again, drop down and run out of the boundary to the same place and run back to the block. Climb back up and kill the next two spearman statues in the same way. One should have come from each side. There is one statue left. Drop down the back side of the block and turn right (with the block behind you.) Make a right after the fire pit and enter the alcove the statue was in. Throw the T-switch he was guarding, which opens one of the dragon gates in the room above.
At this point you can walk carefully around and pick up the ammo and medikits from the dead guys in black. The last statue will not come alive until you step into the alcove with him. Face him across the fire pit. Jump to his side of the pit, step into the alcove, quickly step out, and backflip back across the fire pit. Run to the block and climb up it as he comes to life. Shoot him and drop back down. (One could spend a lot of ammo and medikits trying to take these statues on face-to-face in this small space, but you will need the ammo later. I chose the slower but safer way to kill them .)
Go to the last statue's alcove and throw the T-switch he was guarding to open a bar gate in the wall at the back of the columns to your right (as you leave the alcove.) Watch for another guy in black to come at you with throwing knives. Kill him and go through the door and up stairs. Pick up some grenades on one of the landings. When you see the dragon gate at the top, walk to it and throw the T-switch to the right of it on the wall. When it opens, the two statues on either side of it in the room will come to life. Run straight out past them into the room. Slide down the hole in the floor and land in the room below again. They will follow you, but not through the hole.
Climb back up on the safe block and wait for them to come down the stairs. Shoot them when you can. If they go back upstairs, drop to the floor and get back up on the block after a few seconds. This should lure them back to you, but you may have to do it a few times. Drop to the floor when they are dead and go back up the stairs. Enter the room with the hole in the floor, turn right, and go through the other dragon gate. Enter a room with a golden ladder and a small lava pit with spikes in it. Climb the first ladder (next to the lava) until Lara is holding the fifth rung from the top (if she's all the way at the top, she'll hit her head on the ceiling when she flips.) Do a backflip with a twist and grab the ladder behind you. Climb up and move left until Lara is holding on at the top of one of the colored blocks in the wall behind the ladder. Do another backflip with a twist and grab the next ladder behind you. Climb this one to the top left edge. Pull up and immediately do a backflip to land on the slope behind you. Jump forward and turn left in mid-air to land on the flat part. If you miss, keep flipping back and forth until she lands on the flat part.
Kill the guy with the knives who's waiting here. Be careful not to walk into the path of the disks shooting the length of this passage. Walk to the opening at the other end, where you can see a cavern with a door at the far end. Go to the lighter green block to the left and pull it out once. Carefully climb over it and push it forward once so it stops the disks. If you look out over the cavern, you can see a flickering light down low at the far end in the rocks on the left. You need to go there. Use the stone ledges on the left side of the cavern. Jump to them and walk along the top to the long ledge sticking out over the lava. Jump across and down to the flat ledge on the other side. Turn and jump back over to the flat spot under the long ledge. Walk forward, climb the block in the opening, and turn right. These tunnels are dark, so light a flare if you need to. Follow the tunnel until you come out on the roof of the temple. Pick up SECRET 3 - GOLD DRAGON - and a lot of grenades.
Return through the tunnels to the lava stream. Stand on the block in the mouth of the tunnel and do a running jump and grab the block on the opposite side of the lava. Pull up and immediately do a backflip with a twist and land on the long ledge sticking out over the lava. Walk towards the fire wall and turn left. Walk back over the stone ledges to the slope closest to the green wall. Do a running jump and land on the green ledge. Climb the green block and grab the rope slide. Slide to the small temple doorway to END LEVEL.
*NOTE* This is the last level that has secrets to find. There are two more levels to go which provide the Conclusion and Denouement to the story. They are shorter than the others have been up to now. Be sure to pick up all ammo you run across from this point on!
THE DRAGON'S LAIR - Level 17 (Conclusion)
You begin this level in the temple entrance. A door slides up and reveals a kneeling spearman statue. Pick up the Uzi ammo and medikit. Walk past the statue into a rectangular green room. The statue on the opposite side will come to life. Kill him. Run to the alcove he came out of. Only throw the T-switch if you wish to increase your total number of kills -- the statue you walk past near the entrance will only come to life if you throw this switch. It does nothing else. Go to the column immediately to the left of the doorway where you came in. Throw the T-switch there, which wakens the other statues. Dodge and flip a lot and kill them.
Go to the open doorway (to the right from the door where you entered). Enter and then flip back into the green room and lure two of the knife guys out with you. Kill them (don't forget their ammo and medikits) and go back through the doorway into a dim room with columns. As you explore this room, two more pairs of knife guys will come for you. One of the last set will give you another MYSTIC PLAQUE after you kill him. Go to the dragon door and place the Mystic Plaque in its holder to open the door.
Open the door, turn left, and walk down a passage. Slide at the end into a really huge room -- the Dragon's Lair. The room has a few columns in it, a white platform in the center with the body of Bartoli lying on it, and lots of square holes in the floor that lead to water underneath. Bartoli will turn into a huge Gold Dragon if you approach him or jump into the water below. There is a lot of Uzi ammo in the water if you need it. You must kill the Dragon and pull out the Dagger of Xian that's in his chest. If you kill him and don't pull out the Dagger, he'll keep coming back to life. I found that the Uzis work best for this, because they can fire continuously and auto-target the Dragon. Try to stay away from the Dragon's head -- he can spit a long stream of fire at you. He will also smash you with his feet and claws if you get close.
If you catch on fire, try to jump in one of the holes. As you swim underwater, be ready to swim back down quickly if the Dragon is waiting by the hole you come up in. The Dragon's fire can reach down into the water as well and can damage Lara. The trick to this is to find a hole to come up in where the Dragon is far away. When you do (and it may take a while), get out quickly and try to run from his head towards his tail, shooting the whole time. It doesn't take a lot of shots to kill him (considering his size) but he is so big, it's hard to stay away from his head. As he dies, he will point his head up and wave it back and forth. Immediately begin running towards him and run around to his belly (he always falls with his back to you and is too big to jump over.) You don't have much time.
You must get the Dagger of Xian out of the Dragon, or it will keep coming back to life. The Dagger looks like a red wound in his chest. There are two possible ways to remove it. Run right up against the Dragon, put your guns away, and press on the red spot to pull it out. If that doesn't work, shoot the dagger at point-blank range. You will go to a CUTSCENE of Lara pulling out the Dagger and the Dragon's flesh melting away, leaving the skeleton.
After it dies, the Lair begins falling apart. Run to the open doorway opposite the passage where you came in and run along the tunnel while rocks fall from the ceiling and END LEVEL.

Lara runs along the tunnel as the explosions get closer. She runs out to daylight, and the whole tower on the Great Wall explodes. Lara gets knocked flying, passes out, then wakes up.

HOME SWEET HOME - Level 18 (Denouement)

Lara has returned to her home. She's sitting on her bed in a blue bathrobe, admiring the Dagger of Xian. Two black vans full of bad guys drive up to the front door, and alarms go off.

Lara is not carrying any guns or ammo in her bathrobe, but she does have her GUN CUPBOARD KEY. Go around her bed and open the Gun Cupboard with the key (the door you couldn't open at her house before). Enter and quickly jump up on the counter. Go to the far left corner and pick up that pile of things first. Check your inventory and you will see the shotgun and a lot of shells (the shotgun is not easy to see as it lies on the counter). Take out the shotgun and wait for the first bad guy to come through the door. Kill him and pick up the rest of the goodies in the cupboard. Kill another guy who comes in, then leave the Cupboard and kill the guy with the gun to the right on the balcony.
Leave her bedroom and turn left on the balcony overlooking the main hall. Kill the two guys with guns and the two Dobermans on the stairs. Go down the stairs and out the front door. Head for the vans and start killing a whole lot of guys (about six) and a few dogs who come after you. It is night, and hard to see the guys in the dark. Either throw some flares around or watch Lara closely to see when she targets something. After you kill the last guy (big, with two guns and hard to kill) you will go to the final cutscene -- and that's the end of the game!

Lara is back in her bathroom and is running the water for a shower. She starts to take off her robe, notices you, and says, "Don't you think you've seen enough?" Then she points her shotgun at you!

After the credits you will get to see your final statistics for the entire game.
Congratulations!! If you intend to replay the game, you might consider starting a new game before you get completely out of Tomb Raider. Go to the beginning Menu Ring, open the Passport, and start a New Game. You will be back at the beginning of the Great Wall (Level 1) but with ALL WEAPONS and INFINITE AMMO! The enemies will be a little harder to kill but, hey, you can use the Uzis from the beginning, so why worry?!
