Story:
The Dreaded "demon". His name, Zankuro Minazuki. The evil Zankuro,
from time immemorial, has indiscriminately attacked villages,
slaughtering all in his way. Falling under his mighty blade, victims
screamed in terror of the dreaded demon before drowning in an endless
sea of blood. All stood impotent to his evil deeds.
But then...In a distanct village, Zankuro failed to kill an infant.
Some insist, perhaps the evil one could not kill him. The truth remains
unknown. But from then on, Zankuro marked all swordsmen for slaughter.
Years later...Twelve samurai and swordsmen begin their own quests. All
seek one goal, the head of the dreaded Zankuro Minazuki.

HAOHMARU
"Duelling is my Raison D'etre!"
CHARACTER POSES:
SLASH-
Character Select Screen: Lowers himself into a fighting stance, raises
his sword in right hand parallel to the side of his face with his elbow
up, cradles the right arm with left arm.
Before Round One: Drinks his sake, spits it on the sword, and then swings
his sword down to his side.
1st Win: Lowers himself into a fighting stance, raises his sword in right
hand parallel to the side of his face with his elbow up, cradles the right
arm with left arm.
2nd Win: The original pose from the previous two where he throws his
sword up into the air, spins his scabbard, and then catches his sword.
Now after throwing his sword, he turns his side to face the screen
(instead of his back) when he catches his sword.
Unarmed Victory: Adjusts the front of his top, then goes into a pose with
one arm resting on one knee.
Loss To Time: Drops to his knees, rests his head on one arm and rests his
other arm on the hilt of his sword.
Unarmed Loss to Time: Sits on the floor, both hands are resting on the
ground.
Stalemate: Turns his back and holds his sheath out to his side behind
him.
Dizzy: Gets up on his knees and supports his arms on his sword.
BUST-
Character Select Screen: Raises sword over his head and then swings it
down.
Before Round One: Drinks his sake, spits it on the sword, and then swings

of him, after a slight pause, he flashes his opponent a bad ass grin.

Character Select Screen: Opens his umbrella, says something while spinning
it around a few times, and then closes it.
Before Round One: Adjusts his gloves and then picks up his umbrella.
1st Win: Straightens jacket, bows and says "Gomen" (sorry).
2nd Win: Runs his hands through his hair, nods his head briefly.
Unarmed 2nd Victory: Pulls sword out, spins it around in front of him,
then sheaths it while holding the sheath in front of him.
Loss To Time: Falls to his knees on the ground, holding his head down.
Stalemate: Stands up, plays with his jacket for a moment while sighing,
has a look of disappointment on his face (at his opponent, not at his own
abilities).
Dizzy: Holds his stomach with the arm not weilding the umbrella while he

Before Round One: Bows and grabs sword, the end of the scabbard glows
momentarily as he pulls his sword out a little and then he re-sheathes it.
1st Win: Coughs three times.
2nd Win: Apple slash with a downward and then an upward slash, the split
apple pieces fall to the ground.
Unarmed Victory: Stands upright, brushes hand through hair and humphs.
Loss To Time: Falls to the ground and coughs continuously.
Stalemate: Coughs once and covers face.
Dizzy: Lies down and coughs.
BUST-
Character Select Screen: Pulls sword out, spins it around before
re-sheathing it.
Before Round One: Bows and grabs sword, the end of the scabbard glows

Character Select Screen: Slashes sword about for a moment then points
towards her opponent.
Before Round One: Calls out for Mamahaha, the bird flies in low and drops
her sheath into her outreached hands. Then she attaches the sheath to her
side.
1st Round Win: Stands upright and crosses her arms over her chest. Then,
as the same sparkles that accompany so many of her moves rise out of the
ground, she breaths in deeply and lets out a quick sigh.
2nd Round Win: Wraps her cape around behind her and then gives a long
speech.
Loss To Time: She falls to her knees with her arms on the round as she
lets out a cry of frustration.
Stalemate: Bends forward with a look of disgust on her face.
Dizzy: One arm hangs down limp and she clamps at it with her other one.
BUST-
Character Select Screen: Turns her back to the screen as she whips her
cape out behind her, she then looks over her shoulder and says "Yosh!" as
her wolf howls.
Before Round One: She stands up and moves her arm from near her face
ending in a pointing gesture towards her opponent.
1st Round Victory: Whips her hair for a moment and then points at her
opponent, saying "Yosh!"
2nd Round Victory: Turns her back to the screen as she whips her cape out
behind her, she then looks over her shoulder and says something as her
wolf howls.
Loss To Time: She falls to her knees with her arms on the round as she
lets out a cry of frustration.
Stalemate: Raises her hand to the side of her head and closes her eyes,
letting out a brief yawn.
Dizzy: One arm hangs down limp and she clamps at it with her other one.

CHARACTER POSES:

Character Select Screen: She does a quick flip backwards, goes into a
defensive guarding position with her arm raised near her face and shouts
something.
Before Round One: Has her ice crystal floating above her outstretched
hand, quickly she raises her arm to a defensive position and the crystal
goes behind her while she shouts something.
1st Round Win: Tightens the knot in her head band, then quickly moves her
hands down to her side and says "Yosh!"
2nd Round Win: Removes her headband, turns around swinging the headband
real fast and then holds it behind her head with both hands while saying
something.
Loss To Time: Lowers head in frustration, then with one arm she wipes a
tear from her eye and then shakes her clenched fist.
Stalemate: Lowers head in anger and shakes her clenched fist out in front
of her.
Dizzy: Presses one arm against her self and cradles it with her other one.
BUST-
Character Select Screen: Shouts something while in her defensive
position, then swings sword upwards real quick, finishes by pointing at
her opponent across the screen.
Before Round One: Has her ice crystal floating above her outstretched
hand, quickly she raises her arm to a defensive position and the crystal
goes behind her while she shouts something.
1st Round Victory: Raises hand to the side of her head, palm upwards.
Her ice crystal moves from behind her to just above her palm as she moves
her head to one side and giggles.
2nd Round Victory: Pauses and then begins to look back and forth as her
ice crystal plays "hide-and-seek" by always staying behind her. Finally
it stops moving and when she finds it she giggles.
Loss To Time: Lowers head in frustration, then with one arm she wipes a
tear from her eye and then shakes her clenched fist.
Stalemate: Lowers head in anger and shakes her clenched fist out in front
of her.
Dizzy: Presses one arm against her self and cradles it with her other one.

CHARACTER POSES:
SLASH-
Character Select Screen: Stands up and blinks, spins sword behind his back
and then brings it in front of his face as he shouts "Oh Yeah!"
Before Round One: Points toward the enemy and says "Here comes Poppy!"
1st Win: Unsheathes sword, spins it, holds it parallel to his forearm, and
says, "Oh yeah!"
2nd Win: Shouts "Hey Poppy!" as he snaps his fingers. Poppy
dematerializes from behind him and drops from above down in front of him.
When she first lands she is growling, but a stern stare from her master
makes her sit down and pant happily.
Unarmed 1st Victory-Smacks knuckles together and grins.
Loss To Time: Drops to the ground and slams fist into the ground in anger.
Stalemate: Places hand on chin, removes it contemptuously, folds his arms,
and looks to the side with his eyes closed.
Dizzy: Clutches shoulder, with the arm not weilding his sword.
BUST-
Character Select Screen: Points towards his opponent and vanishes by
dematerializing.
Before Round One: Points toward the enemy and says "You're gone!"
1st Win: Clenches one fist in front of him while his other hand is on his
sword, closes eyes and takes a quick breath.
2nd Win: Raises face to the air while his hands are placed on his hips, a
quick wind blows through his scarf and hair.
Unarmed 1st Win: Same as before except the hand that was on his sword is
now down a little lower.
Loss To Time: Drops to the ground and slams fist into the ground in anger.
Stalemate: Places hand on chin, removes it contemptuously, folds his arms,
and looks to the side with his eyes closed.
Dizzy: Clutches shoulder, with the arm not weilding his sword.

CHARACTER POSES:
SLASH-
Character Select Screen: Kneels down to the ground letting out a deep
chuckle. Stands with his sword lowered at his side and a shadow copy
comes out behind him as he turns his head to look over his back. Then he
sheathes his sword on his back.
Before Round One: Appears as pillars of fire shoot forward around him
along the ground.
1st Round Win: Stands in his ever so common pose with his legs together
and his fingers in that sign he is always doing (what's that mean
anyway?).
2nd Round Win: Puts his hand over his face sash and says something.
Loss To Time: Drops to one knee with one arm resting on his other knee
and his other arm on the ground.
Stalemate: Turns back to screen and folds his arms.
Dizzy: Clutches shoulder, with the arm not weilding his sword.
BUST-
Character Select Screen: Turns around and laughs and then lowers himself
into a fighting crouch, disappearing after a few seconds.
Before Round One: Appears in a puff of smoke similar to the ones he uses
to disappear.
1st Win: Turns around, folds arms over his chest and starts laughing.
2nd Win: Turns his back to his opponent, swings his sword down towards
the ground, turns his head to look down at his opponent and says something
to them.
Unarmed 2nd Win: Holds palm out with a small fire in it then he raises
his hand and clenches his fist shut, extinguishing the fire.
Stalemate: Turns back to screen and folds his arms.
Dizzy: Clutches shoulder, with the arm not weilding his sword.

1st Win: He stretches the chain of his weapon between his two arms then a
ghostly image of his beloved appears at his side.
2nd Win: Basara holds out his arms and a ghostly image of his slain lover
drops into his arms. He looks down to her with obvious delight, but a
second later, the image turns into a soul and then fades away into a
decaying skeleton. Basara drops the bones from his arms and drops to his
knees in utter frustration releasing a heart rendering cry of agony.
Unarmed Victory: For both he does his normal winning poses with out his
weapon.
Loss to Time: Drops to one knee and turns his back to his opponent.
Unarmed Loss to Time: Drops to one knee and holds out one arm in front of
him.
Stalemate: Starts hugging himself and then the image of his lover appears
at his side, disappearing after a few seconds.
Dizzy-Clutches his biceps and breaths up and down.
BUST-
Character Select Screen: Begins to tightening his wrist guards, fades
away for a second and then reappears.
Before Round One: A portal opens up in the ground and Basara launches out
of it, spins once in the air and then lands, doing a real quick pose where
he raises his blade over his head before going into his normal stance.
1st Win: Raises tri-star in a fighting stance, then slashes it down in
front of him to the side. Next he begins to adjust his wrist guards.
2nd Win: Raises tri-star and then slashes across his chest creating an
opening that immediately closes. Then he wipes at the gash with his
finger and then licks his finger.
1st Round Unarmed Victory: Tightens wrist guard
2nd Round unarmed victory: Stands upright, the nude image of his beloved
appears behind him and gives him a hug. The next second, she raises up
behind him and vanishes, the motion rustling Basara's hair.
Loss to Time: Drops to one knee and turns his back to his opponent.
Unarmed Loss to Time: Drops to one knee and holds out one arm in front of
him.
Stalemate: Starts hugging himself and then the image of his lover appears
at his side, disappearing after a few seconds.
