may give away some secrets to the game. Read it at your own risk!

WARNING2: The secret characters are listed in the character list
section after Pikachu and in the Attacks section. If you wish to keep
these secret, then don't read it, but then why are you here?

WARNING3: This is still under construction, and I didn't finish
everything. This Faq was created on the first day of its release from

1. Introduction

Super Smash Brothers first arrived at the store I
pre-purchased it (Stop and Save) on April 27, even though the comercial
said April 26. If you've seen the comercial (American), you'll know
that many of the popular characters from Nintendo games battle it out
on a one to four player fighting game. Finally an American Nintendo 64
game with Pokemon characters! You only get to control two: Pikachu and
a secret character, but you'll see alot more. The game is simple:
knock your enemies off any piece of land. Your ultimate goal: to be
put on the desk as the best toy. This isn't the best storyline, but
it's still a great game.
This will be my second walkthrough I've created. If you find any
errors or have any questions please contact me at HFR360@hotmail.com,
or HFR360@yahoo.com.

3. Character List
These are Smash Brother's definitions for each of the characters.

---------------
Normal
---------------

Mario
Although best known as the mustachioed plumber who battles the
Turtle Tribe with his distinct jumping action, this
internationally-famous hero has also acted as a referee, a driver, and
even a doctor! He's been linked to Princess Peach of Mushroom Kingdom
for years, but to this day their true relationship remains a mystery.

-Super Mario Bros. (NES)
-SuperMarioKart (SNES)
-Mario Kart 64 (N64)

Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong and Mario started out as arch-rivals, but they've
patched things up in recent years. These days DK spends his time
searching the jungle for bananas instead of kidnapping beautiful
maidens. In the past few years, other members of the Kong family have
cashed in on DK's fame as well, including his favorite nephew, Diddy.

-Donkey Kong (NES)
-Donkey Kong Country (SNES)
-Mario Kart 64 (N64)

Link
Link is the valiant boy hero of "The Legend of Zelda" series in
which he fights against the evil Ganon to recover the Triforce. Though
his tools may change with each adventure, his strength and
righteousness remain constant. With his trusty sword and a variety of
weapons, he takes adventure head on!

-The Legend of Zelda (NES)
-The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES)
-The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)

Samus
Samus Aran is the toughest bounty hunter in the galaxy. Using a
special suit powered by the technology of the bird people which allows
her to execute daring acrobatic feats, Samus pursues the airborne life
form, Metroid, throughout the universe.

-Metroid (NES)
-Metroid II: Return of Samus (GB)
-Super Metroid (SNES)

Yoshi
Yoshi is the friendly dinosaur of Yoshi's Island. He began as
Mario's partner, but has since built his own identity, and now appears
in many games. He uses his unique ability to turn whatever he swallows
into an egg as his foremost attack. Yoshis come in a rainbow of colors
and are said to have a high IQ from a very early age.

-Super Mario World (SNES)
-Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (SNES)
-Yoshi's Story (N64)

Kirby
The 8-inch high Kirby hails from a distant, peaceful star. Like
his simplistic appearance, he is an easily-understood character. True
to his instincts, Kirby eats when he gets hungry and sleeps as soon as
he grows tired. Nevertheless, Kirby remains a formidable opponent. In
addition to his distinct flying and swallowing skills, he also has the
ability to copy enemy attacks for ever-changing action.

-Kirby's Dream Land (GB)
-Kirby's Pinball Land (GB)
-Kirby's Super Star (SNES)

Fox
Following in his dead father's footsteps as the young leader of
the Star Fox Team, Fox McCloud's piloting of the super-high-performance
combat ship ARWING for the Lylatian System is still fresh in our
memories. His one weakness may be his difficulty earning the trust of
his teammates.

-Star Fox (SNES)
-Star Fox 64 (N64)

Pikachu
     Pikachu
     Mouse PKMN
     Height 1'4"
     Weight 13lbs
When several of these Pokemon gather, their electricity could
cause lightning storms.
     (Pokedex excerpt)

-Pokemon (GB)

---------------
Secret
---------------

Jiggly Puff
The Balloon PKMN with the big, round eyes. It sings a soothing
melody, sending those that hear it to sleep. When mad, it puffs itself
up. As a Balloon PKMN, its body is light, weak, and easy to knock
away.

-Pokemon (GB)

Charmander: Uses its Flamethrower to ignite anyone in its way.
Voltorb: Explodes.
Porygon: Appears and disappears.
Chansey: Throws an egg.

Pokeballs randomly contain one of the following Pokemon

Snorelax: Falls on you.
Chansey: Throws eggs, which contain items.
Onix: Throws rocks from above where the pokeball opened.

7. Stage List

Hyrule Castle
     Link's stage.

Yoshi's Island
     Yoshi's stage. Here you'll battle 18 Yoshis.

Sector Z
     Fox's stage.

Peach's Castle
Mario's stage. You'll team up with someone to battle Mario and
Luigi.

Saffron City
Pikachu's stage. Look above in the Pokemon section for info on
the Pokemon here.

Congo Jungle
Donkey Kong's stage. Here you team up with three characters in
order to beat a super-sized Donkey Kong.

Dream Land
Kirby's stage. Here you'll fight many Kirbys.

Planet Zebes
Samus' stage. Watch out for the rising lava. Jump on the
platforms to escape it.

Metal Mario Stage
Fight Metal Mario. He's extremely hard to push off, and probably
requires a percentage within the 200s.

Polygon Stage
Fight a staggering amount of Polygon imitations of the characters
(30 to be exact).

Final Stage
Last round. Here you'll fight a giant hand, Master Hand, which
has 300 hp. Pretty unusual for this game, but anyway keep attacking it
until to hp reaches 0.

8. Secrets

Here's how to get the secret characters:

Jigglypuff
I think you have to beat the game with any character. I did this
only with Pikachu at the easiest level possible.

9. Conclusion

Of course since this is a FAQ, it is automatically protected

use it, however, if you give credit to where credit is due. I would
like to thank all the kind people at Gamefaqs for letting me put this
up. I would also like to thank my sisters (Ida and Gemma) for
insisting on buying the game.
