                         Version 1.0

Sinnon Wood and Podorui
Go through the forest, fight Garuda Wing. Mikael will thank you for
helping Monica, and you'll go to another part of the forest. Go
through this, and you'll fight a mini-boss and go to Podorui. Get
weapons, sleep at the inn, and go to the upper section (snowfield), go
into Leonid's castle, and you'll sleep there. Leonid will tell you to
go to the Podorui Cave. Go all the way out of Podorui, and go to the
cave. The item you need is on a platform with 2 chests. Go back to
Leonid, and you'll go to Roanu

Roanu and saving Monica
Mikael will thank you. Then You'll be talking to Monica in front of a
cave and she'll be kidnapped. You'll go to the cave where she is
automatically. Get the poet, find her, fight the boss, and go back to
Roanu. Now Mikael will give you a choice. Go on a ship with Monica
or don't. Go on it, and wait a while. It will be attacked. Go to
the bottom and fight the bosses. Then you'll be lost and end up in A
town. Leave here via the port and go to Pidona.

Pidona
You'll be returning here alot, for now just go to Yamasu from the port

Yamasu
In the port, go to the top building, and you'll see Robin beat come in
and fight the 2 guys in the building. They'll run away. Now leave
and go into the first house you see. 2 guys will try to kill a kid.
Robin will stop them. Now go into the weapons shop (right side of
town) and come out. Robin will attack some bad guys, but eventually
fall into a barrel. Then the real robin will come down from above and
you and him will fight the guys. Then go back to the building in the
port and choose the top choice and he will join you.

The Aurora Path and Snow Town
Go to the village to the east of Lance and talk to the guy that looks
like Mask from Final Fantasy Legend 2 (One of RS3's predecessors).
Then you'll go to a snow field. Go through this, and run across the
small part of the water, and you'll fight a fish boss. Kill it. Then
go to Lance and ask Anna about the "orora". You can also ask her
about the Abyss Gate Locations, but you can also get that from my
other walkthrough :) Now go to the Full World Map (Press X on the
normal world map) and wait until nightfall. Then go back to the
Normal World Map. Go to the new area, and you'll go to the snow town.

The Rat Cave
You'll eventually go back to the Snow town, but about now, you're not
strong enough to do that quest. For now go to the cave that you
talked to Monica in front of. Make your way to a big black area and
you'll see a lot of rats. When you fight them now, they'll be
literally impossible (when you CAN beat them, the difference isn't
that great :) ) Anyway, go back to the entrance to the cave now.
Nina will open it for you, go to the town next to the cave, and talk
to the elder. He'll tell you that he's going to sacrifice Nina to the
rats. Go back to the rats again. Now the boss music will play and
you can beat them. You need about 350 HP to beat them. You should
have 5 characters at this point if you've been getting everyone
possible in your party. They'll still bve very hard to beat.

At this point you should be able to go after Aunas and close the Fire
Abyss Gate. Instructions on how to get to it are in my other
Walkthrough, but here is how to get to it if you don't have that.

Note:Getting to this abyss gate is mostly luck, you don't have to beat
any other abyss gate guardians to get here though

First find the travelling fair (I never did this but heard that you
can) and to the top-most tent and talk to the fairy in the cage there,
then sleep at the inn. Then you will have the option to save the
fairy. Do this. Now she'll be in the fairy town. Go to Ake (You can
get there on the boat in the Great Arch) and go in the jungle to the
south. Find the tree and climb up it. Go to the top of the fairy
town and talk to the fairy. She'll tell you the correct color of
butterfly to follow. Follow that and go to the fire palace. There is
another way to get to the fire palace. Just go through the jungle and
hope you get lucky and find it
(This is how I found the fire palace) then go through it. The Abyss
 Gate
is right behind where you fight the Pyro Hydra. Aunas is a pain
because whenever you attack him, he does a powerful counter attack to
you. Your HP should be around 400 to beat Aunas. Use these attacks to
get around the Self Burning that he uses on himself:

Sword-4th attack from the top (it uses 1 wp and is in all kanji)
Axe-Maki ken dynamic
Spear
Kamsheen (Harid)-Bakusu turn

The Ice Sword
Go back to the Snow town the into the door right inside it. Find your
way to the Ice Galaxy. Go through here jumping over short parts of
the water (Like in the Ice Lake) and you'll eventually meet a boss.
Beat it and You'll get a crystal. If you want the Snowman to join
you, go talk to him. Otherwise continue on and you'll come to a grey
incarnation of the most dreaded non-type boss enemy. A Dragon Ruler.
At your current level you'll probably just barely be able to beat it.
Then jump to the next platform and get the Ice Sword.

Now gain some levels and close the Earth Abyss Gate.

Arakes, the Earth Abyss Gate Guardian

Go to Lance and go in the Sei-oh den. Then go and talk to everyone
(You can get Harid in your party here). One person will give you the
Royal Ring. Now go to Pidona and go to the screen on the left and exit
through the upper left corner. Now you're in the Ma-oh Den. Go
through (there shouldn't be any problems) until you get to a door. If
you have the royal ring, you can open it. go through it to the
basement. The only problem here are the 3 rooms that you can go any
of 4 directions in. There's usually 1)The way back to the previous
room 2)A treasure room 3)A mini boss guarding a treasure and 4)the way
to go on. Go through here and eventually you'll come to a room that
has 2 ladders down. Arakes is in the room down there. Your characters
should have at least 550 HP each good enough weapons and special
attacks.

Muse and the Cult of Maximus
Go to Pidona and go into Thomas's shop. Then go into the other weapon
shop and follow Thomas into the house on the bottom left part of town.
Talk to the guy there, and you'll follow someone into the Maou Den. Go
down the 1st flight of stairs then go into the room to the left of the
bottom of the flight of stairs going straight down (Not left or right)
and go to the far right part of the room. Go to the right and talk to
the guy. You'll leave the Maou Den. Talk to The guy in the house and
choose the top option. He'll die and Muse will be healed. If you leave
the house and come back, Muse will join you. Now go into the upper
part of Pidona and to the place in the upper-left corner. Go in here
and you'll see some kind of ceremony. After a conversation, Maximus
will escape and the monks will turn into monsters. Beat them and go
through a secret passage (Go into the altar from the back) Now go
through the dungeon and fight the boss "King of Benevolence" He IS
benevolent, mainly because he's so easy :) Now go up and you'll be in
the run-down part of Pidona But Maximus gets away.

Shivaik and Vicinity
Go into Shivaik and You'll be run over by a bike (Actually, you can do
this any time after you beat the rats). Now go to the forest next to
it and go into the house inside it. The professor will dance to some
music and go downstairs (If this doesn't happen, leave the forest and
come back) now go downstairs and talk to her. Then go in the one door
that you can. Now you have to fight a magical tank. You can only have
3 characters here and if any one of them dies, they're out for the
entire battle, so keep them healed. After this, you'll probably be
strong enough to fight in the tournament in Shivaik. Go there and
just fight alot of monsters (3 rounds of 5 or something close to
that). When you win you get a prize, but you can't fight in the
tournament again.

Now you should be strong enough to close the Wind Abyss Gate.

Byunei, The Wind Abyss Gate Guardian

Note:You can only do this after beating at least 1 other abyss gate
     guardian

Go to Vangard and ask the barkeeper for information. He'll say
something about Roanu. Go there and talk to Mikhail. He'll join you
and Monica will leave your party. Now go to the volcano all the way
on the north west side of the world map and talk to the dragon in the
center, choose the middle choice and he'll fly you to Byunei. Since
only your main character fights (the dragon takes some damage, but not
all) your max HP should be about 650.

Revenge on Guwein

After this, if you go into the town next Rubu Mountain, you'll see
that it has been trampled to the ground. Go into Rubu Mountain, and
talk to Guwein. Choose the 2nd option from the top and you'll fight
him. Beat him.

Getting Leonid to Join You
Go to Leonid's castle, and go into the door that has the 5 gargoyle
enemy right inside it. Beat the gargoyles, and make your way through
the castle. There's a hard boss at the end. Fight it, and talk to
Leonid in the coffin. He'll dissappear. Now go to his throne and talk
to him. Now he'll join you.

Now with a lot of levelling up and even more luck, there's a slim
chance that you might be able to close the Water Abyss Gate (It took
me a few months worth of levelling up to be able to beat this boss)

Forneus, The Water Abyss Gate Guardian

Note:You can only do this after beating at least 1 other abyss gate
     guardian

First go to Vanguard and see the murder (not sure what you have to do
before this happens), then talk to the old man and he'll reveal a
stairway. Go through the cave, and you'll come to a switch, flick it
and the monsters will be gone for good. Now go back and talk to the
old man. He'll tell you that you need to get the dolphin statue. Talk
to the bartender and he'll tell you to go to the Great Arch. Go there
and talk to the guy that looks different (the guy with one leg) He'll
show you where the cave with the dolphin statue is. Go there and take
the statue. Now go back to Vanguard and put the dolphin statue on the
upmost orange orb. Now talk to the old man again. He'll tell you to
get water mages. Go to Mouzes (the town on the same screen as
Vanguard) and go to the main mage in the northern part of town and
she'll send her mages to Vanguard. Now go back to the control center
and stand on the platform and the city will activate. Now Herman (The
guy from the great arch) will tell you the coodernites of an island.
Go there and talk to all of the crabs. One will tell you coodernites.
Go to them and go underwater with the city (it's the bottom choice
only when you're at the right coodernites). Now go through the
underwater palace and you'll be at another abyss gate. Your characters
max HP should be around 750 to beat Forneus.

The Villiage of Mung
Go into the desert and keep going right. You'll eventually get to a
river. Go through this, and find your way through the field to get to
the Villiage of Mung. Once you are there, you'll be told about 2
caves, Nefto and Zelnam. Talk to the guy in one of the bottom tents
and someone will join you. Go to the southern cave first. After
going through this, go back to Mung and talk to the guy, the guy that
joined you will leave and get your other member back. Now talk to the
guy again and go and Exit Mung from the right, follow the sequence of
events and you'll have to go to the northern cave. Beat the bosses
here and talk top the leader of the skeleton insects (Ni-ku) and go
back to Mung and exit to the right again and you'll be in the same
place, but now you can get to the overworld from here.

Rashukuta and the Rotting Sea
Talk to everyone in Mung again, and you'll get access to Rashukuta.
Talk to all the elephants here, and you'll get access to the Rotting
Sea (right next to it) There's alot of the treasure in the Rotting
Sea, but there's one really powerful shield. The bad part? It's
guarded by a Green Dragon Ruler. If you thought that grey one was
hard, you haven't even begun to imagine how hard this one is. You
might want some of the Seiou's Equipment in order to beat this. To get
that, wander around the Seiou's Castle and go into the doors, and find
them. But the Dragon Ruler is still hard.

The War in the Far East
Now go into the other japanese type casdtle on the map. Go upstairs
and fight the army battle scene. You just have to keep the other army
on the screen in this battle (Not destroy it or get it to retreat)
Once you do this, prepare for major pain and suffering, because now
you have to fight a Red Dragon Ruler. Aside from all the attacks of
the other 2 (But stronger) this one has a can breathe fire at one or
all of your characters, and aside from that it puts Self-Burning on
itself. Use Self-Burning on all of your characters to make the fire
attacks useless on you, then keep healing your characters, and re-use
Self-Burning on your characters every time it uses a fire attack on
you, since Self-Burning only works once on one of your characters.
Your HP should be around 850 to kill this thing (It's that hard). Then
continue up the tower and beat the (easy) Abyss Naga. Then you're off
to the Abyss, the last dungeon.

The Abyss
This place is short. You start in a small room. Return to the spot you
arrived in to get healed at any time. Go up. In the next room are 4
teleporters which you go to rooms with all of the 4 abyss gate
guardians (Mega Man?) Beat them the same ways you beat them before.
Then go into the middle transporter and into another one. You'll go
into a room and a golden ball will remateralize. Go back into the room
and you'll see an Abyss Gate Guardian type scene. Go to the top
option, and you'll engage the last boss. 2 words: Good Luck. BTW, it's
worth dying here at least once for the awesome game over scene (It's
different here than anywhere else). When you beat it, enjoy the
ending.
