Welcome! This is The Ultimate RCT Guide. In case you didn't know,
RollerCoaster Tycoon is a PC game made by Chris "Railroad Tycoon" Sawyer
in which you design, build, and manage your own theme park. This guide
will give you tips on starting a new game, a list of all the rides,
shops, and scenery, tips and tricks on other things, codes and cheats
for those of you who want them, and some saved games and track designs.
Remember, this is all for now. In the future, more stuff will be added.

Insert your RollerCoaster Tycoon CD and install. When you're finished
installing, click on Play. When the game loads, click on the far left
lighthouse. It will come up with a list of scenarios. If you are a
starter, pick Forest Frontiers. It will then show you your objective,
and then you can play! If you want to know how to actually play, (I.E.
build rides, set prices, etc.) click on the lighthouse with a black hat
on the top of it. That will bring up a tutorial. Well, happy playing!

Not sure if your ride's safe? Then, test it first!
Graceful and elegant rides add to the excitement.
Theming adds to the thrills and excitement.
Build what you customers want.
Benches help people recover and rest.
Park rating falling? Maybe it's dirty.
Gentle rides give people time to see the rides in the park.
Guests hungry? Make more money by selling them food.
Plants and trees are not just for gardens.
Your rides should surprise their riders.
Watch the thoughts of your customers.
Use R&D to create new ride types.
Intense rides make people ill.
Efficient parks are more attractive to potential customers.
Make your paths easy to follow.
Footpaths built close to rides add excitement.
Rides need not be built in separation.
Tunnels are dark but they can be exciting.
Install new tracks/scenarios by placing on hard disk and
double-clicking.
Tricks:
Name a guest "Chris Sawyer" and he will walk around taking pictures.
Name a guest "Simon Foster" and he will walk around painting pictures.
Complete all scenarios and get "Mega Park". The goal says "Have Fun!"
Codes:
There are no built in codes. Look at the tricks section above.
Cheats:
Like I said, there are no built in cheats. But there are trainers. If
any good ones come out, I'll put them here.
