Here are some tips that I received from Ken George, the Producer for the game Rally
Cross. Enjoy!
---------------------------------------------

Memorize the courses just like real drivers do. Try to think plan a turn or two ahead.

As in real racing, the key to driving fast is to drive slow. That is, its better to enter a turn a
little too slow, than to enter a turn too fast. If you come in too fast, you'll either over shoot
and hit a wall or have to come to a near stop to make it through.

If the car gets a little squirley, especially in the whoops, let of the gas, gain control and
get back on it. The cars are really hard to control if you're picking up speed when out of
control.

Powersliding is a great way to reduce your chances of flipping over in a
sharp turn, especially at speed.

Those are my initial tips. We aren't ready to release cheat code and easter eggs yet, they
are cool though :).

Thanks for your support,

 Ken

I cheated guys.... I wanted to see what other vehicles were in the game as well as
wanting to try out the additional tracks and variations so I used this cool code with my
INTERACT GameShark:

 80056456 0106

This code unlocks all of the vehicles, tracks, variations and difficulty levels. The trucks
are fast and responsive. The additional three tracks are jaw-dropping fantastic. This
game is RACING quickly to the top of my favorite PSX game list, easily making it to the top
10 already in my book. I'm sure that when I get better, I will like it even more.

The code is courtesy of RAYSURX.

Wow, the snowbanks look so real. So does the stadium! :))

Winning the Pro circuit will result in you gaining access to the first of 4
trucks. According to Ken George, the producer of Rally Cross the others
 are awarded as follows:

"Win Mixed, Head On and Suicide seasons to get the other three trucks.
 The manual wasn't specific enough.

FOSTER CITY, Calif.---Feb. 19, 1997--Wanna play in the mud?

Then pick up a copy of Rally Cross(TM), available exclusively for the PlayStation(TM)
game console, now available at retail stores across North America.

Published by Sony Computer Entertainment America, Rally Cross is a highly realistic
off-road racing game in the true fashion of rally car racing. Players have their choice of
20 different cars, each with its own unique racing attributes such as speed, acceleration
and handling. There are six race locations -- each with three courses -- and the player
can choose to race each course forwards or backwards.

"Rally Cross really captures the feel of off-road rally racing with an incredible physics
engine that gives the player the sensation of being in total control of the vehicle," said
Peter Dille, senior director, product marketing, Sony Computer Entertainment America.

"Rally Cross was developed by Sony Interactive Studios, the same studio that created
the NFL GameDay series and our other top-selling sports titles. We've clearly
established ourselves as the leaders in next generation game development and Rally
Cross broadens our software lineup even further."

The physics engine gives each of the cars "true" four wheel suspension, providing
realistic handling of the vehicles on a variety of racing surfaces -- mud, sand, dirt, grass,
gravel, pavement, snow and ice -- each affecting the cars differently. Players can also
use the surfaces to their advantage and set up power slides through curves and bends.
And if they spin out or lose control of their cars, their car will have the damage to prove it.

Rally Cross can be played by one to four players with split-screen and quad-screen
views. Players can choose automatic or manual transmission, in addition to the three
difficulty levels, and there are six modes to choose from, such as Practice, Free Run,
Single Race, Season Tournament and Head On.

Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. markets the PlayStation game console for
distribution in North America, develops and publishes software for the PlayStation game
console, and manages the U.S. third party licensing program. Based in Foster City,
Calif., Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sony
Computer Entertainment Inc.
