Greets! I hope that you find the enclosed material helpful. I was kind of disappointed with this game, as it was much easier than Might and Magic III. Most of the game is straight forward, and overly simple. I gave instructions on how to acquire all the awards, except one. The one that I left out was the Ultimate Adventurer award, which you have to earn yourself. I tried to be as careful as possible to locate all the goodies in each dungeon, but on occasion I left things out. You can essentially win the game with my notes because I gave you ALL the locations of the KEY elements of the game. For those of you who are new to this game series, I recommend the following party of characters: 1 Knight. Put him/her up front so that you have at least one muscle man who'll survive when the rest of the party is dead. 1 Robber. He is ESSENTIAL to getting all the treasure in the game, as he's the only one that can open locked doors and chests. Although, later on you can acquire the thieving skill for any member of the party, it's better to start off with it. 1 Archer. The archer can use missile weapons, and is a pretty good fighter. The added benefit is that he/she can cast MAGE spells. 1 Paladin. The paladin is almost as good as the Knight, and can cast CLERIC spells. 1 Mage. The mage is the master of magic, so put him in the back and let'm hammer all those big monsters. 1 Cleric. A pure cleric is very important to the game. When you're about to die, your cleric will probably have enough spell points to revive everyone, if not the key characters of the party. With this party you have the best of all worlds. You have four characters that can use decent hand-to-hand weapons. These same four can use missile weapons, so that you can get the monsters from a distance. You have 2 MAGE-type characters that can use the spells. You have 2 CLERIC type characters that can generally heal everyone. Then there is the thief, of whom can pick all those treasure chests filled with thousands of gold pieces. One more gaming hint is that you should acquire the DAY OF SORCERY spell and THE DAY OF PROTECTION spell. With these two casted, you are literally unstopable. These are by far the best two spells to have. They are better than all their components, as these spells cost less spell points to cast. One other note, don't cast spells right before morning, as they will expire shortly. Instead cast them just after morning so as to get the full effect. Also, to save game time, try not to sleep. Instead find the various fountains and stock up on spell units and hit points, cast REVITALIZE on all members of the party that become WEAK from the lack of sleep. Enjoy, The Woosh Man
