This Guide was written for the internet and can be distributed to anyone you
would like to send it too. Please dont alter any of the text though. You can

http://ireland.simplenet.com. I wrote this in two hours and their will be more
added to it every few days. Soon I will add a complete roster for every team,
complete rankings and have a few contests to see who is the best Madden 64
player. Soon we will have a glitch section too but their isnt many glitches in
the game. This guide will have much more soon.

II- Introduction

John Madden football has been one of the greatest sports series in video game
history. Every year the game comes back with better graphics, options, and more
plays among other things. This is a great game and if you don't own it, I
suggest you buy it soon. Madden 64 have great gameplay. It is perfect speed. And
the plays are very easy to understand even for younger children. It has
commentary by both John Madden and his partner Pat Summerall. This game has more
injurie type than any other football game out their. Madden 64 has the most
player than any other gottball games. You can take full control of yout team in
season, playoff, franchise, or custon season mode. You can create your own
players. You can customize all options including quarter time, weather (clear,
snow, rain, cloudy, or night), stadium, and more.
III- Modes Of Play

Exhibition
Exhibition is kind of like preseason in the NFL. You can pick any team
(past or present) and play against any team you want. You can set stadium,
quarter length, etc. This is good for just practice before you get involved in a
season or a playoff series.
Season
Play a full 16 game season and if you win enough you make the playoffs and
go for the Super Bowl ring. You can trade with other teams, release players to
free ageny or sign guys off free agency. Salarys play a big part of Season mode
so you cant make a perfect team (Jig Team).
Custom Season
This is the same above except you set up the schedule for the whole NFL.
You can also take teams out of conferences and put in other teams.
Tournament
You can have a tournament with either 8 or 16 teams in it. You can pick
any team (past or present) and it will pick the seeding randomly. This is good
if you have some friends over and you want to see who is the king ff Madden 64.
Fantasy Draft
One of the best modes in the game. You can pick a fake team (stingers,
ardvarks, blowfish, etc). You draft your whole team from from the start. Then
you go at it with the other drafted teams in a tournament to see who the winner
is.
IV- Controls

I am not about to sit here and type the contols that you most likely know
already. If you truely do need the controls I'll tell you how to get to them.
Reset your N64. When the Start screen pops up press START. Then you go down to
Game Options. Then, go all the way down to CONTOLLER CONFIG. Their ya go.

Thses are the best and worst teams. These only include current teams. They do
not incluse Madden Team or Any Franchise Team like Philadelphia 84'.

Philadelphia Eagles 90% of 100%
Charlotte (Carolina) Panthers 90% of 100%
Oakland Raiders 90% of 100%
San Francisco 49ers 90% of 100%
TOP 5 WORST TEAMS
Baltimore Ravens 71% of 100% (Congrats Baltimore)
New York Giants 72% of 100%
Chicago Bears 74% of 100% (This team is not that bad.)
New Orleans Saints 74% of 100%
New York Jets 75% of 100%

These are the best and worst players. I put this in the guide just in case that
you want to have a fantasy draft and want to make the best possible team. Since
their is huindreds of crappy guys I'll give you the most over rated guys. (Guys
who rank high but arent that good.)

Barry Sanders RB (Overall: 185)
Terrell Davis RB (Overall: 184)
Herman Moorer WR (Overall: 184)
Brett Favre QB (Overall: 184)
TOP 5 OVERRATED PLAYERS
Jerry Rice WR (Great player but not the best in the NFL)
Ben Coates TE (Ranked to high for a TE, too slow too.)
Darrell Green CB (He was good in his prime but that was ten years ago)
Troy Aikman QB (Good QB but injured alot, he also can't come up with big plays
in big games.)
Larry Centers RB (This guy should be a TE or WR not a RB.
VII- Best Plays

TOP 5 BEST PLAYS
[Normal] Shotgun, HB Toss (Awsome play, you almost always gain yards, run to the
right with someone quick like Sanders or Emmitt Smith)
[4 WR] Single BK, HB Delay Run (Another awsome runnig play. Just run staright up
the middle with someone powerful like Jerome Bettis.)
[4 WR] Shotgun, Hail Mary (Good play if you have good recievers that can
jump. This play is complete 50% of the time with good
yardage.)
[Normal] Far, WR Fade (Perfect screenpass to your RB on the left side.)
[Normal] Near, HB Inside (Confuses the defense and they usually leave a big
hole open.)
VIII- Best Starting Draft Team
