Section 1 - Introduction and Disclaimer.

This game is one of the most underrated games on the SNES. Overlooked by many
people, Goemon 4 is a great combo of Challenge, Humour, Great Characters, Great
Graphics and music (For a SNES!), and most of all, Authentic Japanese.
NOTE - This file is under construction. This means that the walkthrough is
unfinished.
NOTE - This game is VERY hard!!!
NOTE - I am going to assume that you cannot read Japanese. I'll try to keep it
simple...
NOTE - Wise Man is the old man in the intro.

1.5 the cast of main characters

Goemon- pronounced "GO-EY-MON"
Goemon is the one with the red clothes and blue spikey hair
The namesake of the game, quick to lose his temper and get in a fight.
Also an ex-thief (but he was a good thief- like robin hood) nowadays
Goemon is a ninja with groovy powers, a clever kid with the sharpest hairdo on
this side of the galaxy. Goemon is armed with the pipe...a VERY, VERY old weapon
that has been handed down from one generation to the next in his family, and now
it's his turn to use this very trusty weapon. Goemon is very fond of Omitsu-The
most beautiful woman in Edo ,Who happens to secretly fancy him too!

Ebisumaru- pronounced " EH-BIZ-SUE-MARRU"
Ebisumaru is the one dressed in blue with a pair of pants on his head!
Goemon's fat pal, who he met in jail once. Ebisumaru shares a house with Goemon
and they are best friends. Ebisumaru may be a coward at times, but he's always
been a faithful companion to Goemon. Ebisumaru occaisionally has to deal with
Obisumaru.. his evil rival. Obisumaru and he were both thieves, but Ebisu stole
to give to the poor, Obisumaru stole for his own nefarious ends. Ebisumaru's
favourite teahouse is akindo, and he has set a record for snarfing down 200
plates of dumplings there!

Sasuke- pronounced "SAS-OO-KEE"
Sasuke is the robot dressed in green
Not human- he's a cute little robot ninja created by the Wise old man, Goemon
and Sasuke fought each other when they first met, but now they are friends.
Sasuke seems to have the power to actually change his gender(Don't ask) also
Sasuke has a switch which makes him either incredibly nice or a total villain(
Sasuke is totally weak as a villain though)Sasuke adores having a hot bath and
drinking green tea.

Yae- pronounced " YAY-EE"
Yae is the one with green hair
A secret agent ninja who offers investigation and solution to high-profile
mysteries. Yae was saved By Goemon when they first met, and Yae returned the
favour by busting him out of jail. Yae is seen by many to be very pretty, but
mainly recognised by her, long, flowing Green hair.
She acts as a big-sister to goemon and friends, she also likes baking sweet bean
doughnuts!

Impact- English pronounced "GO-EY-MON IMM-PA-CT"
	Japanese pronounced "GO-EY-MON EEMP-AACT-OO"
Impact is the UNMISTAKEABLE giant robot
The huge robot who Wiseman constructed to help goemon and co. when they need
him. Impact is the main reason why you're playing the game (Because he asks you
for help. Impact is fond of All the Goemon gang, and he would hate to lose them.
He's been a reliable companion ever since he (Quite literally) grabbed their
attenion when they first met. Impact was designed to resemble Goemon, and as a
result he uses a pipe, has blue hair and wears the same sandals as goemon,
however Being an "Impact" he is stuck with a very strange face(The huge, wide
mouth, weird gazing eyes, pushed up snout-like nose). Impact seems to adore
Disco music.
(NOTE-Impact's full name is "Goemon-Impact")

Maguamuge- Maguamuge is the bad guy with the large green eyebrows
The totally evil villain of this game. Maguamuge seems to be obsessed with two
things. 1. Domination of planets.2.sports. Maguamuge has invaded Planet Impact
to enslave the population and the people of it's four moons, Maguamuge has
appointed his four evil egg-like henchmen to go and conquer the four moons.
Magua's armies consist of sports-like enemies (Robot football players, batters,
pitchers, basketball ninjas ect.) Maguamuge has managed to get rid of Impact for
the moment, but Maguamuge has underestimated his gigantic foe, and now Maguamuge
has to deal with the whole Goemon gang.

Omitsu-Pronounced "OMI-CHAN"
Omitsu is the one with the brown hair standing next to Goemon in the intro
Omitsu, the most beautiful woman in Goemon's home town ,she has the hots for
Goemon, but she has never let anyone know, except Goemon, they have a little
relationship going on, and intend to keep it secret. Omitsu (I found out) IS
Goemon's GIRLFRIEND!!!, they still really love each other. Omitsu works as a
waitress in Oedo town's teashop, and she's also Oedo's covergirl at Mitsuya.

Wise Man- Wise Man is the frankly disturbing old man in the intro!
He does not play a large roll in this game. Creator of Impact and Sasuke, he is
also prone to unexplained fits of madness. Very much into pretty girls, but
never very succesful. Most of his Inventions have some nasty flaws (Impact is a
bit crazed and sasuke seems to dress as a girl a lot)

Obisumaru - Ebisumaru's eternal rival, the 'red ebisu' you see on the forest
moon. He speaks a very concise English, with a large vocabulary of words. An
evil theif, stealing for himself, Obisumaru has many cunning tricks up his
sleeves.

Section 2 - General Hints + Tips.

* As usual, never be stingy with money (ryo) on this game.

* Try to stock up on armour + rice balls. It is a very hard game, and you will
need them!

* If you finish a level and find that it does not have a cross through, go back
to it later and find the fortune doll.

* If a town does not have a cross through it, return later (Usualy after
finishing the second town) and visit every house to get a special power up!

* How to save - Go to an inn. (they have a lone man in a red room inside, big
buildings on the outside) Select the far right option, then the left option.

* Rice balls - These guys are handy. Buy some, and when you die, you will come
back to life once!

* Armour + Helmets - These will protect you from varying numbers of enemy
attacks. Armour protects you from attacks, helmets protect you from shots.

* Never be stingy with using ryo based weapons! They could save your life.

* This is strange, but if you power up your weapon (so your glowing) then don't
throw it, but hold the button, you can jump higher!

* In towns, watch out for women in space suits, who give you money, slug -
women, who give you health, and bouncing thieves, who steal money off you! (Just
whack them!)

* After beating the first four moons, you can hit 'select' to change characters!
Also, hold the Y button and hit 'select' to get funky colours! (Goemon turns
brown, Ebisumaru turns white, Sasuke turns blue, and Yae turns Purple!)

* On the title screen, select the left option to play the game, then left for 1
player and right for 2 player. Also on the title screen, select right instead to
enter the mini game practice mode!

*After you have completed the game 100%, go to the mini game practice, and keep
tapping right for two new ones!

And finally, the most perplexing thing in Goemon 4...

WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING IN THE INTRO?!?

Calm down, all can be explained. It follows thus:

Basically, Goemon and chums are hanging out at Wise Man's place. But, someone is
missing. Sasuke! Wise man is very flustered when a young girl crops up beside
him. Yae and Omitsu comment on how cute the girl is, but it is Sasuke in
disguise! (Don't ask me...)
Just then, there is a knock at the door. It is Impact! Impact tells Goemon and
the gang that for the past few years, he has been living on a planet called
Planet Impact. The evil dictator, Maguamuge is invading the planet, and that
Impact intends to stop him!
Goemon and the gang agree to help Impact, when the most bizarre thing happens:
For...erm...no apparent reason...Impact...suddenly kicks Wise Man's house over!
(DON'T ASK ME! I AM CONFUSED AS YOU ARE!)(~I think Impact kicks it over because
he's so excited, and remember Ebisumaru says in the new Goemon game that Impact
rages out of control all of the time...
That would mean Impact is a little crazy? - Gerimon Impact~)

And now, the moment you've all been waiting for...

Section 3 - Walkthrough.

THIS SECTION CONTAINS SPOILERS! It is discriptive, only look here if you are
very stuck, or if you are one of those guys who likes to do everything right in
games. (like me! - MaguaMaru)

3.1 - Goemon's Desert Moon.

First Town.

Just walk straight through! Be sure to buy rice balls, helmets and armour.

Stage 1 - The Desert Plain.

This is the stage to the right of the first town. Just keep running to the
right, attacking using mostly ryo. Beware of quicksand, and the tire throwing
enemies! To get the fortune doll, when you see it, backtrack to the last raised
piece of ground. Jump onto it, then onto the roof to the right. Keep jumping
from roof to roof to get it.

Second Town.
(*Tell me, is Omitsu Goemon's Girlfriend or something? - Justumaru*)(~ I
discovered that they actually are so YES!! - Gerimon Impact~)
When you arrive, you will probably find that no - one is of use. Just keep
wandering around till you see Omitsu! How did she get here? It is not really
Omitsu, but a Tanuki, a vengeful japenese trickster spirit, (Which can turn into
all sorts of creatures) in disguise! Say the following to make him reveal
himself!

Bottom
Top
Top
Bottom
Top
Bottom

Goemon should now whack the Tanuki and pass!

Now, it is sunset and the thieves are about! Not to worry, now everyone will
sell you things as normal. Buy some rice balls, and then find the house with the
girl with the white hair inside. Say the first option to give her the rice
balls, and you will recieve Goemon's chain pipe! (About time!)

Back To The First Town

After this, go back to the first town, and enter every house until you find an
old man that gives you (Wait for it!) Goemon's Super Ryo Throw! You don't need
this, but it REALLY helps.

Stage 2 - The Desert Forest.

Go to the stage to the left of Goemon's first town. Here, you will find a block
with an odd symbol on! (It must be japanese for something.) (*Actually, its an
Indonesian symbol for luck! - Justumaru*)(~also a Japanese symbol meaning Holy,
Hitler reversed the spokes and it then meant away from God! - Gerimon Impact~)
Use the chain pipe near it to latch on, then swing to the right and jump to get
off. You must stand on the footballs to proceed in this stage, and avoid the
spikes! To get the fortune doll, near the end of the level you will see two
'chain blocks' without a platform in between them. Follow this trail, you should
go upwards eventually, and you will get an extra life and the fortune doll!

Stage 3 - The Batter's Cave.

Progress to the next level. This level is VERY HARD!!! You must stand on the
batter's bat's when they are horizontal, and jump off before they hit the ball!
Be careful! Also, steer the football past the spikes after the bit with the
batters! To get the fortune doll, get to the bit with the footballer that kicks
every other ball. Stand on a ball he misses, and you will go down and left.
Continue left for the fortune doll!

Stage 4 - Desert Fortress
This stage starts with Goemon being attacked by flying footballs and female
robot ninjas throwing spears at you! Avoid or kill those, then there is a
section where Goemon has to jump from football to football that's being nutted
around by big football robots. Then you'll be against a mini boss, a giant
football that shrinks each time it is it, then after being hit enough, it turns
into a robot keep attacking it, and when it goes for the slide attack, jump over
it. Then you will be in a section that loops. Simple way out of it, find the
three gym mats, and stand on them in order. they'll light up. Now, go to the
first room after the football, and drop down!
You'll be in a section where you get chased by a large genie robot, jump the
hurdles and smash the giant wooden walls, and above all DON'T LET THE GENIE GRAB
YOU!!!! When you get to a large stone wall with a speech bubble under, whack it.
And whack it. AND WHACK IT! Do it fast, and with all your might! Good luck! Keep
going, then you'll face the boss!

Goemon's Boss- The Bunjee Jumping Game!!!

Okay! This fight is just like the mini-game of the same name, except, you have
to win the game to damage the enemy robot. Plus, if you push 'up' at just the
correct moment to catch the sword, you'll see a red sign in japenese appear next
to the arrows and you will charge up faster when mashing a and b! Also, you will
do more damage. Complete this game 3-5 times, and the robot will explode! Yay!
Desert Moon is completed!

Section 3.2 - Ebisumaru's Forest Moon.

First Town.

Just walk straight through! Be sure to buy rice balls, helmets and armour.

Stage 1 - The Forest Lake.

Go to the level left of Ebisumaru's first town. This level is very hard!
Generally jump at the very end of each platform, and jump quickly later on to
avoid the robot women who rise out of the water. Just keep going right! I do not
know how to get the fortune doll on any stage in the forest moon. Return here
later with Yae for the fortune doll. Return to the Deep forest with Goemon.

Second Town.

Just keep going to the right, and eventually you will bump into Obisumaru! (He
looks like a red version of Ebisumaru) He will challenge you to find four young
girls in a time limit. This bit is a real challenge. Appearance of the pretty
girls is random, but at all costs AVOID THE OLD WOMEN!!! They will make you
lose!!
at the end of it all, if you have four pretty girls, Obisumaru will lose, and
give you the ballet dancing drill magic! (Don't ask!) Now exit the town.

Back To The First Town.

Wander around the town until you see an odd looking piece of ground with a large
sign nearby. Stand on the odd ground and activate the ballet drill. Ebisumaru
will appear in a different part of town. Talk to everyone in the houses, and
when you leave the town, you will find that now Ebisumaru's ninja stars can be
powered up like Goemon's ryo! They bounce when they hit something solid,
enabling you to hit odd places.

Stage 2 - The Foggy Mountain.

Go forward until you reach a yellow beam blocking your way. There's an octopus-
looking guy standing behind it. Power up the ninja star and jump, your goal is
to bounce the star off the thing holding the beam up, and to hit the guy. If it
hits the guy, he'll blow up, and you can continue. Make a few jumps, then,
rather than jumping higher on the cliff,(If you do go that way, then you will go
to the exit of the level.. I might add!) fall down into a cave to the right. Use
the Ballet Magic to break these blocks and get a fortune statue! Unfortunately,
you probably need to jump into the pit and die to get out of here.

Stage 3 - Forest Fortress.

A LOT easier than Goemon's, in fact, this is the easiest castle!
Just keep jumping over and crawling under the weights, and avoiding the
basketballs, and you should come out fine. No hastle, here, just the boss!

Ebisumaru's Boss- The Guessing Game!

Um, its just like the mini-game, no tips here, just that you can't miss more
than four times. (If you are using an emulator, savestates can be VERY useful!)

Section 3.3 - Sasuke's Arctic Moon.

First Town.

Just walk straight through! Be sure to buy rice balls, helmets and armour. At
the end of the town, switch to the bombs and blow up the large doors.

Stage 1 - The Icy Plain.

To start off, kill one of the snowmobile riders. Jump onto the snowmobile, and
make your way through on that. When you get to the hill, drive through the sign
at the top and quickly dismount. (Up and jump) Then, make your way through the
rest of the level by jumping from parachute to parachute. I do not know where
the fortune doll is on any of the arctic levels.

Stage 2 - The Ice Cave.

THIS LEVEL IS HARD!!! Just make your way through, bombing the cracked blocks,
until you got to a bit where a large robot will chase you! AVOID IT! just kill
everything that stands in your way, then destroy the lone snowball, and crouch
in the hole it was filling. The robot will pass harmlessly by. Follow it, then
when it stops, destroy it. Hooray! Now simply progress to the end.
To get the fortune doll on this level, you'll have to come back once you've
gotten to planet Impact!

The Second Town
Look for the house with the green door, then go in and you will see a cranky old
guy, he will give you six bottles of medicine to give to six people who are ill.
You must deliver those bottles within a time limit!
Once you've delivered the bottles, the old man will give you a pass to get out
of town. Then go and find the bearded guy and he will give Sasuke some super
bombs (Charged up the same way as Goemon's ryo)
Then head to where the gate is, the guard will let you through, but then another
guard comes along and thanks you for all the help.

Back to The First Town

Somewhere here is an octopus that will now give you the kunai climb skill! check
all the houses! To use the skill, Press up against a wall and press X.

Stage 3 - The Cold Mointains.

To start, go over to the left and jump directly up to the upper level. Go right,
climb the wall, and keep following the path to find the fortune doll! Carry on,
climbing the walls and falling bombs, to the exit!

The Ice Fortress

Lots of tricky jumps, and punching robots in the background. Hanging onto walls
with the kunai climb is essencial.
First, hit the statue heads to get their swords to drop so you can go on.
Then, avoid the punching robots' hands, they have two patterns, either-

Left, Right, Pause

OR

Left, Left, Right, Right, Pause

Pay attention! Next is a room where you must climb the walls, and boxing gloves
constantly punch the walls. Don't get punched, and keep going up. Then you'll
find a room with all these concrete blocks and a hand flying around. The hand
will break the blocks. Just keep moving forward, don't fall into the pits! Then
you'll fight some boxing robots, jump their hurricanes and hit them, there are
five. Kill them, and then you'll be in a room with moving bars, climb on and let
go when close to the platforms. When in the room with the sliding block, don't
get crushed against the wall. Take your time and watch its motions. There is
another room with these WEIRD robots (Name that game!!! ^_^). They can be
dangerous, so don't lose your head, and don't forget you can climb. Then, I
think you fight the boss.

Sasuke's Boss- The Impact Race!

No change from the listing at the end of this document, except that now your
racing the enemy robot. You need to win three times, he only needs to win twice.
Prepare to HURT your fingers! This is a button-mash if ever I saw one! (No
Joke!~MaguaMaru)

Section 3.4 - Yae's Ocean Moon.

First Town.

Just walk straight through! Be sure to buy rice balls, helmets and armour. Also,
enter the houses towards the bottom, one of the men will offer to sell you
something or other of no use for 500 ryo. But, you MUST buy it!

Stage 1 - The Swinging Ropes.

Do not enter the castle yet. You will not get very far without the mermaid
magic! Just keep going right, killing enemies and swinging on the ropes. You
shouldn't have that hard a time.

Stage 2 - The Moonset.

Just move on to the next level. Here, things are pretty much the same as before,
but avoid the croquet players! They can be quite dangerous. To get the fortune
doll, stand on the platform above it, and when it falls, you will get the doll!
Be sure to jump off quickly though, or you will die!

Stage 3 - Surfer Yae!

Just plough through this level to the surfboard. When surfing, kill the enemies,
jump over the mines and take note of where the arrows flash, for in a few
seconds, sharks dive out of where the arrows pointed! Be ready to jump over
them. To get the fortune doll, return when you have the mermaid magic, and dive
deep at the start of the level.( Note the funny music on this level!)

Second Town.

This is a KILLER if you don't know Japanese. (Hell, I don't! - MaguaMaru)
First of all, go right to the executioner blocking your way. Talk to him, and
say the first option. Now, go upwards and then left until you see a house with
neon lights outside. Go in and talk to the executioner. Say the right option,
then left, and he will take you to a room with a rock in the back. He will ask
you to do some shopping for him, and he will give you 150 special coins!
Now, go left, then take the first up, then go right until you see a shop with a
blue curtain that does not quite cover the door. Remember what it looks like! I
will refer to these as 'special shops' from now on. Enter the special shop and
buy one of the green objects that looks like a vegetable for 10 special coins.
Then go left, down and left again to reach the second special shop. Here, buy
the white cube that looks like tofu for 40 special coins. Now, go to the far
right and go down. Here, buy the red object that looks like some sausages for 70
coins, and the three round objects that look like dumplings for 30. Now, revisit
the neon house. Next, go ant talk to the executioner that was blocking your way.
He will disappear. Hooray! Walk past where he was to exit the town.

Back To The Second Town.

Re - enter, and find the house with the merman inside. Say the right hand option
to get Yae's mermaid magic! Also, enter houses until you talk to an old man
(like the one in Goemon's town), then...

Back To The First Town.

Go to the house where the man sold you the Yae Bazooka. He'll give you the
Bazooka power-up, Lock-On! With this, Yae will fire up to five shots that home
in on foes!

Final Yae Stage- The Ocean Fortess

Use the Mermaid Magic to eneter the water. Then go to the next room, (It looks
like that movie 'Aliens' in here!)(~ that movie scared me to death! - Gerimon
Impact~), jump the pits and use the Lock-On Bazooka to kill both the Chicken-
Things and the eggs. Avoid the giant golf balls in this room. When you reach a
room that has a gun aiming at you, and targets, move in front of the targets,
and move away before the gun fires. When all targets are destroyed, the doors
open. There are two such rooms, the next one is tough because the platforms
move. Then you must fight the boss.

Yae's Boss- The Goemon Tetris Game!

Again, similar to the mini-game, except there are now two ways to win. When you
get chains, you also do damage to the enemy (the same goes for you). If his life
runs down, he dies (again, same for you)! Also, you each have two hearts. If you
lose a round, you lose a heart. If one person loses both hearts, they die! In
all, this is rather easy, when compared to the others. But your gonna work for
it!

Section 3.5 - Planet Impact

Town1: area 17

This is a town filled with cute little people.. with Impact's smiling head on
their shoulders(~erk!~) Go save your game and go explore town, Talk to everyone
in the houses, and make your way to the lower end of town. You'll come to a
section where no Impact-people are walking around, keep going right and then you
should see the four henchmen, they will yell stuff at you and then dissappear,
proceed right to exit! (*I think they are telling you how to defeat Maguamuge...
-Justumaru*)

Stage 1 - The Mines
Switch to Sasuke and climb up the walls, you should come to a bit where there
are more walls. Fall and grab the walls, climb up and kill the baddie on top,
then proceed to the left, jump onto the structure, then go up and head right,
you'll then have to follow the path (While being chased by rugby players!) then
climb up the wall and kill the pitchers as you go, at the top of the wall will
be the exit racoon.

Stage 2- The Dam

Proceed to the right, you'll have to swim some. There's a locked door, the key
is above water on the right side. You have to beat a large woman robot to get
it, but she's not tough. There's a tricky swimming area next, but do your best
to avoid the spikes and you should make it.

Stage 3- The Ski Hill

Head right, swing accross the pits with Goemon, but be careful of flying
enemies. Then climb the wall and head back left. Take the lower path, you'll get
an extra life. You must use Sasuke in this area, the jumps sometimes need him to
cling to the wall to climb up. Now, swing three times in succession, and climb
up and go to the left. Now you must swing five times in a row, then climb up
again, be careful of the spikes. Avoid the laser and the falling snowballs, and
this level is over!

Stage 4- The Long Drop

Er... Your falling down, standing on a car, as enemies assail you. Just don't
fall off and you'll be fine. Armor, helmets and food help a lot.Make it to the
bottom alive and you win.

Section 3.6 - Maguamuge's Domain!

Oooh, creepy! Maguamuge is VERY unhappy with you, and has created obstacle
courses which resemble the castles you just completed! There are four such
stages, when they are beaten, the final battle with Maguamuge opens.

The Desert Palace Revisited

This level might look like the Desert Palace, but you need everyone to get
through. Again, step on the gym mats to open the floor. There is a place where
it looks like you must stand on spikes, but you don't have to, you will find a
way to drop down from above and remain safe. There is a place where you must
ride a football down a large shaft, don't get it hit anything or your dead. Some
Genie Robots run after you now, the walls are much easier to destroy this time,
just keep striking them! That work's over!

The Forest Palace Revisited

If you beat Ebi's palace, this place is a breeze, its pretty much the same. To
defeat the crowds shouts, just hold up and fire projectiles.

The Ice Palace Revisited

This level is slightly different than before. There are keys you must find to
unlock the doors. The first one is in plain sight near the door, and easy enough
to find. The second is easier to get if you come around the large platfrom from
the left side, because you have to kill a boxing robot. After that, its over.

The Ocean Palace Revisited

This is one big room. That means you must move fast or you'll run out of time.
Get the gun to shoot out the targets, some are on the main level, some are in
the water, some are in places Sasuke must climb to. None are hard to find. When
you get them all, you can exit to the right.

The Final Battle! A Game Of Catch Decides The Fate Of The Universe!!!

Here's the setup, Maguamuge is standing on his ship in space, and he is rather
happy you've gotten this far- After all, this saves him the trouble of hunting
you down. He's ready to end this game, so its time to get serious!

Remember the Bunjee Game? This is a lot like it, only harder. Maguamuge will
throw a huge metal ball at the planet, and you (Piloting Impact). Push 'up' at
the right moment to catch the sphere, again, if you do it JUST right, you get a
sign next to your meter and charge faster! Also, when you catch it, you need to
hold up long enough to get the meter in the red area, perferebally on the arrow
(another sign will appear if you do it right)- the closer you get, the more
damage you do. Mash a and b, and pray its enough. Every time you take four bars
away from him he'll move away from the planet, making throwing the sphere back
harder. If you completely deplete his energy, the ship will be destroyed,
Maguamuge will be beaten, and you will have freed Planet Impact! Enjoy the
(strange) ending, and congratulations!

Hey! You! Wanna know what the ending MEANS?!?

Maguamuge's spaceship is destroyed! But, he is plummeting to Planet Impact, and,
as he is so strong, if he hits it, he will destroy it! So, Impact flies off to
stop all that and catches him!
Impact fondly remembers the good times he has had with Goemon and pals, as the
only way to kill Maguamuge is to sacrafice himself.
So, he flies off into the sun, holding Maguamuge! He foolishly tells Maguamuge
that they are going to die, so Maguamuge shouts "Never!" and slaps Impact away!
Goemon and pals laugh at Impact for failing, but they are really laughing at
something else..
Impact reflects on how he is still alive, and...
D I S C O S!!! (AH! AH! AH! AH! STAYIN' ALIVE! STAYIN' ALIVE!~Gerimon-Impact~)
Enjoy the ending!
(~Impact, probably the most ...unique giant robot in the universe..with very bad
luck.... But still..he fights on through his stormy life...whatta guy!~ Gerimon-
Impact~)

Section 4 - The Fortune Dolls Guide!

To gain more health in Goemon 4, you will need to find all three fortune dolls
on any given world. Each world is worth one extra heart.

The Desert Moon Dolls -

Stage 1 - It is on one of the roofs. You will have to jump along two in a row to
get it. (Any)

Stage 2 - Near the end of the stage, you will see two chain blocks with no
platform in between. Hook onto these and follow the path. (Goemon)

Stage 3 - At the first footballer, go down and left. Smash the block and hurry
under the spikes. Smash the vines, and ride the football over the pit. Jump
through the wall and keep going. (Any)

The Forest Moon Dolls -

Stage 1 - Swim down at the start, and keep to the underwater paths. Explore and
you will come out inside a mound. There it is! (Yae)

Stage 2 - Explore with smashing the blocks and falling down holes, and you will
fall down a pit with an alcove to the left. Land in the alcove and smash your
way through. (Ebisumaru)

Stage that leads nowhere - Keep to the air paths with Sasuke, and eventually you
will reach a chain block. Swing across and keep going. (Goemon)

The Ice Moon Dolls -

Stage 2 - At the start, smash the blocks and explore for a bit. There you are!
(Ebisumaru)

Stage 3 - Go left, jump to the higher level, go right, climb the wall, and
continue to the right. Follow the obvious path and climb the bombs. Keep going!
(Sasuke)

Secret stage only accesible from stage 2 - To get to this stage, after the robot
chase, climb up the hole in the ceiling, and keep climbing up the walls. To get
the doll, it is in plain sight a little way into a pit. Cling to the side and
get it! (Sasuke)

The Water Moon Dolls -

Stage 2 - It is below a platform. Wait for it to fall, and quickly jump off once
you have it. (Any)

Stage 3 - Swim deep underwater at the start, and go left to get it.

Stage that leads nowhere - Near the end, there will be a hole in the ceiling.
Climb up and go LEFT. it is on the cliff. (Sasuke)

Planet Impact Dolls -

Stage 1 - When you have a choice of going up or left quite early on, go left.
Keep going to get it. (Any)

Stage 2 - It is to the left of one of the pits you surface through. (Any)

Stage 3 - When you havew two paths of platforms, both going left, but one high
and one low, take the low one. You will need to climb up the edges of the
platforms. Keep going to find it! (Sasuke)

MaguaMuge's Domain.

There are no fortune dolls here!

Section 5 - The Mini Game Guide!

(*I warn you, THESE are the boss battles! - Justumaru*)(~ and Ebisumaru's is
really hard! - Gerimon Impact~)

The Bunjie Jumping Game - (This is Goemon's boss)

This is quite confusing. Just follow this, and you should come out ok.
Wait until the bottom arrow in the top left corner lights up, and press up to
grab onto the sword. Once you are holding it, alternately push B and A to make
the gauge in the lower left corner rise. When it reaches full, you will win! Try
to do all this very QUICKLY!!!

The Opening Doors Game - (ebisuamru's boss)

THIS IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT ANY KNOWLEDGE OF JAPANESE. Just keep trying,
and eventually you will do it!
First off, press A and B alternately to make one of the gauges rise. When it
reaches the top, the doors will stop closing, and an object will whizz past. Now
for the hard part. You have to select the name of the object with the
directions. I N J A P A N E S E!!!
Every time you guess correctly, you will gain a star. Lose, and you will lose a
star. Get five stars to win!

The Impact Racing Game -(sasuke's boss)

As soon as you hear the signal, alternately press A and B to make your Impact
run! Just keep doing this, and when you get to the arrows, press the
corresponding button to what the arrow is. This should make the door open. Come
first to win!

The Goemon Tetris Game - (Yae's Boss)

This is just like Puyo Puyo! Rotate your block with A and B, direct it with left
and right, and drop it with down. Put 3 beans of the same colour next to each
other to make them disappear, and create combos to make more beans fall down on
your opponent! Make your opponent's screen full of beans to win!

The Maguamuge Game - (Final Boss)

Almost the same as the actual boss, except this time you must throw the ball and
destroy as many planets as possible. Good luck!

The Shooter Game

A wierd top view shooter, destroy a set number of enemies, then a HUGE one to
proceed through time. Every button shoots.

Section 5 - Controls.

Directions - Move
B - Jump
Y - Attack/select options
X - Use magic/ability
A - Select options
L/R - Change weapon
Up + B - Dismount Vehicle

Section 8 - Comments from the creators!

Section 8.1 - MaguaMaru

Well, I love Goemon! Just compare this Goemon to Goemon 1 NES, see how surreal
it is!
Well, soon I may start a webring for Goemon!
If anyone feels they could contribute anything to the whole Goemon scene, I
would love to hear from you!
Now, compare the game you have just finished (hopefully!!) tomost games that we
are used to. Most likely sports games, action games or generally 'usual' games.
Sure, some of those games are great, but compare the characters in that to this.
See what I mean? Link compared to Ebisumaru, James Bond compared to Maguamuge,
any anime giant robot to Impact, and, especially after you understand what is
going on, whether it means learning Japanese or buying a new, English Goemon,
you may understand what I mean.
I have a simple web site at www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Metro/1685/

Section 8.2 - Gerimon Impact
Hey, I love Goemon too! I like Impact the best because he's so funky, (NIGHT
FEVER!!!)
I like Platform , adventure, RPG, and shooting games (PARODIUS RULES!)
Notice how Goemon started life as a mild-mannered NES game with total
normalitly, now?
Now it's a wild un-tamed japanese loony game... AND I LOVE IT!!!!!
I'm just trying to get more people to recognise and like or even love the Goemon
series, Goemon is an
un-sung hero amonst video gaming. MaguaMaru's site is cool so take a good long
look at it.
Oh, I also have my own site at members.tripod.co.uk/Gerimon and it'll have links
to some of the best Goemon sites on the web on it soon!! Oh yes, watch out for
MaguaMaru's and Gerimon-Impact's walkthrough to... GOEMON'S GREAT
ADVENTURE/MYSTICAL NINJA 2:STARRING GOEMON!!!!!

Section 8.3 - Justumaru

I don't truly love any series. I just play games. Espically extra-tough
action/adventure games that are still in japenese. Being one of the earliest to
beat this game among the gaijin is my best accomplishment in this field.
And just to show you how crazy i am, i beat the Goemon Puzzle game. In one
sitting. Hated every second of it, but oh well. That's me.
I'm also writing a walkthrough for Goemon 3. If anyone has any idea how to beat
this game, please, tell me!

This is the final version, unless I get SERIOUSLY badgered to do another one.

Until next time, whatever we may appear in!

~MaguaMaru, Gerimon Impact and Justumaru.
