:::Introduction:::

Flying Dragon is a 2D & 3D fighting/rpg game for the Nintendo 64. It is one
of the better fighting games for the N64, which is in dire need for fighting
games. All the fighting games are on the Playstation which could maybe change.
Anyways this game is sorta reminiscent of the Tobal series. In Flying Dragon
you can build up your fighter into a supreme fighting machine by winning in
the circuit over and over and collecting treasures along the way which help
make your fighter stronger which is in 2D mode. 2D mode can also be customized
so that you can have 3D elements applied such as sidesteps and other moves
which aren't normally 2D nature. In 3D mode you fight in a "Virtual"
tournament atmosphere without ringouts which is pretty cool. The characters
are regular size and aren't super deformed like 2D mode. Natsume and Culture
Brain have done a excellent job at creating Flying Dragon. Enjoy!

:::Wiler's Data:::

Wiler is a former CIA Special Attack Force Member and is very skilled in
close combat.

{Busters}

Sonic 1000000 - forward+C back
Jungle Circus - up+C back
Wiler Bomb ---- down,forward+C back

{Combinations}

Combination 1 ---- B,B,B
Combination 2 ---- B,B,forward+B,B,B
Combination 3 ---- B,B,A
Combination 4 ---- B,A
Combination 5 ---- A,A
Combination 6 ---- A,down+A

:::Busters:::

The Secret Buster Gauge (SB) will increase with each successful hit on a
opponent. When the gauge is filled, you will be able to do a Secret Buster
attack. The SB Stock is the remaining secret busters you can do. Those are
indicated by the little yellow balls above the SB gauge which is the SB Stock
Meter. You will earn more secret busters as you keep playing the game. Secret
Busters are found within the "Operation Files".

:::Juggling Physics:::

Juggling in Flying Dragon is somewhat like Tobal 2. The juggle starters are
mediocre but get the job done. Wiler has 2 juggle starters which are the
Knee Kick (forward+A) and the last punch in Combination 1 (B,B,B). Juggling
in 2D mode is pretty easy as opposed to 3D mode. What to look for is the "\"
in the opponent's legs as you intiate a juggle starter. When their legs form
a diagonal line upwards (their body forming a "\" shape), that's when you get
down and dirty and start connecting more moves to create juggles. It's pretty
simple and that's the simplest way to define the juggling system in Flying
Dragon for both 2D and 3D mode.

{Juggles}

Here are some of Wiler's juggles. I will put some movies up showcasing his
juggles which can go up to 22 hits, YES 22 phenomenal hits including Secret
Busters which jaz up the juggle. The most I've gotten is 22 maybe you can get
more hits? You never know. The engine in this game will allow you to get big
hit juggles off. Check out the legend and read the juggles carefully. It was
hard to try and explain the cancellation parts of the juggle so read carefully
before sending questions. I should have movies soon so you can see what the
juggles look like.

--Legend--
* means cancel move into next move
  [note] You must earn the rest of the secret busters like :
  Sonic 1000000 - forward+C back
  Jungle Circus - up+C back
  Wiler Bomb ---- down,forward+C back

  You initially start out with Sonic 1000 --- C back

 [Side Hint] You can always throw a Wiler Bomb after finishing a juggle cause
  the opponent usually ends up across the screen. That can make most of these
  juggles here 100% damage wise. So you can breeze through the circuit and
  earn treasures.

1. B,B,B (starter), forward+A, forward+A, C down, C back

2. B,B,B (starter), forward+A, C down*forward+B (can also be forward+A or
  forward+C down they do the same move), (let all three sonic kick hit then
  cancel) C down*C back or foward+C back

3. forward+A (starter), forward+A,forward+A,forward+A,forward+A,forward+A,

4. forward+A (starter), forward+A,forward+A,forward+A, (let one sonic kick
   hit then cancel) C down*forward+B, (let all three sonic kick hit then
   cancel)C down*C back or forward+C back

5. forward+A (starter), B,B,B, forward+A, (let one sonic kick hit then cancel)
   C down*forward+B, (let all three sonic kicks hit then cancel)C down*C back
   or forward+C back

6. [22 hit juggle]

   forward+A (starter), forward+A, forward+A, forward+A, (let one sonic kick
   hit then cancel) C down*forward+B, (let all three sonic kicks hit then
   cancel) C down*forward+C back

7. B,B,B, forward+A, forward+A, B,B,B

 Try other variations. I have so many variations of these juggles here, but
 there is enough example here to build upon and work with.

:::Important Treasures:::

These are by far the most helpful, there are many many other treasures but
check these out.

{7 wonders} -- they will tell secrets about the game.

{Operation Files} -- they will contain your secret busters.

{Strategy Book Series} -- they will contain strategies on defeating the
Platinum characters.

{Key Scrolls} -- Contain special hints about finding treasure items.

:::Shopping:::

Visit the girl in the store often to purchase items. Most of them you will
gain as you progress, but many other items are useful in certain stages as
you progress. You will need certain items to help you beat Platinum
characters and win medals or you can rough it and try to beat them and their
special powers. If you are a regular customer, the girl will strike deals
with you and hold certain items for you at reasonable prices. If you earn the
item while fighting, the girl may accept the item back for about the same
price you paid cause you will have 2 of the same item in your item book and
you can just sell it for credits toward purchases. The girl will develop a
attitude if you look around then leave and don't buy anything. She also won't
hold items for you. The girl develops a personality as you visit her shop.
You can tell through the text.

:::Tournament Mode/Circuit Mode/Ryumaou Tournament:::

Tournament Mode you battle it out with either a friend or the computer. You
have up to 8 players and final in a single elimination tournament format.

Circuit Mode you battle the computer to win 10 special medals from the
Platinum Characters. In the end you must battle Ryumaou to get medals 9 and
10. This Ryumaou is different from the first one you encounter. The first was
a Platinum Ryumaou the last one is the regular Ryumaou but has the powers of
the other Platinum characters such as Bokuchin's "Immortality" power.

Ryumaou Tournament occurs when Ryumaou himself challenges you to fight in his
tournament. You will be pitted against all the Platinum Characters then fight
Ryumaou.

:::Some Secrets:::

Here are some of the exciting treasures you can find in Flying Dragon which
must be obtained after continuous play. They can be found in your item book.

Music CD.....Listen to music in Flying Dragon

To get it you must fight up to the 18th battle. Beat the tournament right
before the championships and you receive the Music CD. You can listen to all
the characters stage music from 2D and 3D mode.

Skull....Access Ryumaou as a playable character

To get the skull play the first Ryumaou Tournament when Ryumaou personally
invites you. When you defeat him you will get a skull making Ryumaou
available. He is offscreen on the character select screen.

Bokuchin Drop....Access Bokuchin as a playable character

To get the Bokuchin Drop (famous candy from Youkan City in China) you must
wait for Bokuchin to challenge you, when you defeat him he will leave the
candy behind. He is also offscreen on the character select screen.

Universe Watch....Infinite continues

You can buy this in the shop for a hefty price or earn it after continuous
play.

:::Remarks:::

Well this is pretty much a short faq for me but it gets you started with a
few treasures to check out. It may get very boring playing over and over but
as you progress you get new treasures that make the game more exciting. I
will put up some movies of the juggles later. My next project will be for
Virtual Pool 64 which I've reserved until it's release. Enjoy this faq, if
you like pool I'll have a faq for that game too, but feel free to ask
questions.
