Bioforge - Complete Solution Prison Wing When you wake up, activate combat mode and whack the Nursebot backwards continuously before it can inject you. Do this until it hits the force-field across the door and blows up. Pick up the log-book lying on the floor and read it. Make sure you also grab the chunk of meat. Then, with the force-field damaged, time your run through the bars and out into the corridor. Walk to the main blast doors and try to force them open - notice the sparks from the control panel. Turn to the occupied cell-block and pick up the severed arm and, again, time your run through the bars. As soon as you emerge into the room, the prisoner will attack you, so drop the meat to distract him. This will leave you free to pick up the log-book, the photograph and the fork. As soon as you grab the fork the prisoner will attack you again - you can now either kill him or run back through the bars. Return to the control panel and use the fork to open it; inside you will find a simple puzzle. Move the squares until they make a link between the red diodes and then force the main door again. Control Room Look at the monitors and deactivate the force-field in Cell Four. This will allow you to move the Nursebot via the control panel on the desk. Drop the severed arm and move the Nursebot into the Control Room. Use the robot to grab the arm and move in front of the palm reader next to the sealed blast door. Exit to Cell Four, pick up the log-book and read it to find out Caynan’s access code. Return to the Control Room, access the security control panel and enter Caynan’s security code. In order to open the door you’ll have to stand in front of the palm reader itself. Corridor Run into the corridor and hide in the lift doorway to the left so as to avoid the large robot. When he passes, continue to run up the corridor and enter the Cryo Room on the right. Cryo Room Check the monitor to the left of the door then walk to the far end of the room and push the red button to open the iris. Turn the valve to push your cryo containment to critical then turn it off again and re-seal the iris. Go back to the control panel and examine the chamber stats again, and a monster will break free and escape from one of them. Lead the monster towards the iris and fight it until it collapses, then press the button to plunge the monster into the chamber below. When you hear a roaring noise, turn the valve to pour cryo fluid into the hole, then turn it off and climb down the ladder. Sewers Walk down the causeway until you find two holes blasted in the wall. Enter the one on the right and you will come face to face with a Mondite guard who you must kill to obtain a Blaster. Exit and return to the Cryo Room and go out into the guarded corridor beyond, again running towards the lift to avoid the robot. Level 1 Use the control panel and head for Level 1. When the doors open do not exit, instead use your Blaster to destroy the two droids by bouncing the bullets off the lift walls. Be careful not to hit yourself though! When the droids are dead move slowly out into the open until the view changes and you see another two droids to the side of the lift door. Again use your Blaster, this time bouncing the bullets off the windows to kill them. Repeat this tactic to kill the final two droids lurking to the sides of the lift shaft. To use the big gun shoot the cowering guard once to spring him into action, then when the gun is activated destroy the Dropship when it hovers in front of you. Kill the guard, return to the lift and head for Level 3. Level 3 While in the lift, turn and walk towards the other doors then position yourself snugly in the corner and wait for the lift to stop. In the corner of the lift you are out of the guard’s line of fire, so take your time killing it by bouncing bullets off the lift walls. Exit and enter the Operating Theatre. Operating Theatre Here you meet Dr. Mastaba, who incapacitates you for a while. When you regain consciousness you no longer have your Blaster. Talk to Dane and when he asks you to kill him, show him the photo of his girlie. Find and pick up the battery, the Medi-Kit and the flute, then read the control panels if you want. Exit and walk up the corridor to the Control Room. Control Room To the right of the door you’ll find a Hardsuit machine - take one. Kill the guard and then walk to the lower platform and use the control panel to descend to the next level. Kill the guard and pick up the walkie-talkie he drops, find the alien cube and take the blue flashing battery from the front of the craft. Return to the Control Room and, if you haven’t already done so, look at the Reactor monitor to get the access code. Find the Robot control panel in front of the Hardsuit machine and use it to move the robot through the Reactor Airlock and into the Reactor chamber. Knock the other robot off the platform. Reactor Chamber You must wear the Hardsuit before you enter to avoid death. Timing is of the essence at this juncture, so save your game and then activate the light bridge. Run quickly across and shoot twice at Drogg then run in a tight circle to gain his attention and then leg it back over the light bridge, switching it off when the mutant is on it. NOTE: If at this point the computer voice has informed you that the Reactor will explode in 30 seconds, then you are probably best advised to re- load your game and attempt this portion again. Reactivate the light-bridge and leg it back over to the other side. Pull the two levers situated on each of the side pillars and then use the console, inputting the Reactor code 125. With any luck you’ve averted a major core melt-down. Exit back to the elevator. Level 4 As you emerge from the lift a large security robot appears at the far end of the corridor. When the cut-scene ends, stand still and fire at the robot three times to kill it. Run to the far door. Use the panel to the right of the Airlock door and solve the puzzle - light all the buttons. Landing Platform Run left and use the turbo lift to take you down to a narrow ledge. Run along the ledge and past the droids until you run through a doorway and out to the acid lake. Directly in front of you are two grey blocks, which act as steps. Fall down to the second one and then use the Alien Cube to transport you over the blocks and across to the Dropship. Dropship Walk into the Dropship and approach the large sealed door. The ship’s Captain will approach and, when killed, he will drop a big gun and an electronic key. Use the key to open the sealed door then use the monitor at the top of the stairs. Launch a missile so it hits the pillar in the distance and wait for the acid beast to investigate. Then, when it sniffs around the impact point, fire another missile to kill it. By doing this you create a small walkway across the acid lake. Exit to the shore, taking the medical kit before you do so. Save your game and take the Alien Cube out of your inventory then take the warhead lying on the ground. Ignore your gun for now, leg it off to the right and head under the wing of the Dropship, then use the Alien Cube to get you across the acid lake. Climb across the blocks and up to the gantry then steam off to the right (the droids won’t hit you as long as you keep running) and enter through the tunnel on the left. You should still have enough time to drop the bomb in front of the blast doors and run back out to the gantry. Make sure you run clear of the tunnel entrance, though, or you’ll get caught in the blast. Go back through to the blast door. Dig Site As you emerge through the Hardsuit machine you’ll find Dr. Escher guarded by a shrimp-like creature. Approach the creature and then run away slightly, enter combat mode and wait for it to come near you. When it is within a reasonable distance shoot it and wait for it to uncurl then shoot it again - if you shoot it while it is in a ball, your bullets will ricochet around the room, bouncing off the walls. When the creature is dead, approach the doctor and, after her rambling, give her a medi-spray and wait for her to give you an Alien Translator - use this on the walls in the Alien Temple, which is situated behind the blocks on the acid lake. Leave her and exit into the next room. Tomb As you walk into the Tomb room Drogg will burst through the wall, so enter combat mode and attempt to kill him. Before you can do so, however, he legs it off and exits through the tunnel in the adjacent room. Go to the open tomb and lever the door off its hinges and take the device you find inside - you can now use it on the panel next to the tunnel opening. Tubeway Station Using the alien tube you will emerge into the station. Use the plinth in the centre of the room to activate other transport tubes by following the patterns above the tube entrances. Open the tube on the left which heads to the Zero Gravity room by pressing buttons 2, 4, 6, 8. NOTE: don’t attempt to open the tubes at the very top of the room as they are filled with an exhaustive number of shrimp creatures. Zero Gravity Room While suspended you can still manoeuvre, so face towards the right-hand opening and use your weapon to propel you through the opening on the left. This will take some time to master. Alien Chamber Once and for all you will have to battle Drogg - approach him, punch with your gun arm then kick as he tries to get up. Repeat. He will drop a shimmering cube which activates a powerful reflective suit of armour. You should use this only when you’re outside the Alien ruins, to conserve energy. However, use it quickly to walk through the shimmering doorway. Alien City You emerge onto a platform overlooking the Alien City, and to the left is a control panel. Use the panel and solve the puzzle by pressing the coloured switches in the following order: Green, Red, Purple, Yellow, Blue, Orange, Blue, Purple, Yellow, Red, Green, Purple, Orange, Yellow, Red, Purple, Red, Green, Purple. When the puzzle is completed you turn on the power to the Alien City, whereby an Alien Learner approaches you and gives you a battery. Swap the alien battery with the one in your leg then exit all the way back out to the Tubeway Station. NOTE: This battery allows you to use your in-built gun by powering up the charge on the Diagnostics screen. However, don’t deplete your energy level more than a few pips, as you need to use the battery to power the bike at the end of the game. Tubeway Station Use the panel to open a tube to the Gravity Ring by pressing buttons 1, 6, 8. Gravity Ring Avoid the flying debris and stand on the arrows to move the large rings on the formation behind you. If the arrow on the furthest left is regarded as number 1 and the arrow on the furthest right is number 6, stand on the following arrows: 1, 6, 4, and 1 repeatedly until the rings line up. Exit via the tube. Tubeway Station You can exit back to the Dig Site at this point only to notice that the Airlock entrance has been destroyed and Dr. Escher’s log-book can be read. Or, use the control plinth in the Station and press 1, 4, 6, 8 to open the tube into the Alien Temple. It isn’t working correctly, so face the control panel to the left of the tube and drop any items you may be carrying, then use the panel and press the top button to open the portal. When the Marine bends down to investigate the hole, press the bottom button to seal the portal again, crushing the Marine in the process. Re-open the portal and wait for the other Marine to throw a grenade down the hole. Quickly pick up the grenade and use it with the tube to throw it back to the surface - be quick or the grenade will explode in the tube and not on the surface. Pick up your items and activate your reflective suit, then use the tube to get up to the surface. Alien Temple Head out of the Temple and back towards the Landing Platform located through the tunnel on the far side of the acid lake basin, defeating the guards as you go. Landing Platform As you approach the Landing Platform you’ll have to cross the narrow ledge first. The Dropship will shoot at you and as soon as it does, stand still to avoid the bullets. Kill the Marine and pick up his log-book to find the new Airlock code - light two lines, one horizontally at the top and one horizontally at the bottom. Run through to the elevator and head to Level 3. Level 3 Exit and kill the Marine guarding the corridor, then head into the Operating Theatre and use the control panel to find your identity. NOTE: We haven’t been able to find this information, can you? Let us know if you do. Exit to the Control Room and head down to the Hanger, where you’ll find the bike. Swap the battery in your leg for the old one that you should have left lying on the floor on your first visit, then use the Alien battery on the bike. As long as you have enough power in the battery, the end-game sequence will be shown in glorious technicolour.
