                                     1. Story
                                     ========
At last, the dirty green and blue smog was beginning to clear.  Gruntilda stood 
at the topmost window of her lair, grinning wickedly down on her latest world.  
"Tiny creatures far below," she cackled, "which of you'll be first to go?"  The 
witch rubbed her hands in glee at the prospect of putting her favorite invention 
to good use.  It was her pride and joy: a machine that could suck the physical 
beauty from its victims for Gruntilda to absorb like a sponge!  And it owuld 
certainly teach her cutesy sister Brentilda a lesson.  How dare that interfering 
do-gooder inherit the family good looks and leave Gruntilda, well...slightly 
disadvantaged in that department?  Hah! Not any more, gloated the witch, picking 
her nose smugly. Not any more.  Turning back to the bubbling cauldron, Gruntilda 
began to cast the spell which would reassure her that she was, of course, the 
most wonderfully attractive creature in this bright new world...   Meanwhile, 
Tooty was skipping home through the sunny green fields of Spiral mountain. As 
she reached the garden gate, a pair of blurry eyes that could only belong to her 
good friend Bottles popped up from a nearby molehill. "Morning, Tooty," he 
blinked, uncorking himself from the hole. "And what are your plans for this fine 
day?" Tooty jumped up and down excitedly, remembering Banjo's promise. "Oh!" she 
squealed. "When my lazy brother gets out of bed, we're going oon an adventure!" 
"That's nice." Bottles squinted up into the sky. "Hang on, isn't that your 
brother up there?" Tooty turned, and saw an odd shape swooping down toards them 
at high speed. "No, that can't be Banjo," she said, frowning, "I wonder who it 
is..." "Sweeter than me? prettier than me? Impossible!" Gruntilda was so furious 
at the cauldron's words that she could barely control her broomstick, screeching 
with anger every time her boots clipped the treetops. "As cute as me, you stupid 
pot? For her own sake, i hope she's not!" The witch sped recklessly on until her 
target finally came into view: staring up at her from a field far below was the 
innocent youg Honey Bear she's seen in the depths of that treacherous cauldron. 
Gruntilda cackled. "I need those looks far more than she, and finally perfect I 
shall be!" she cried, and sent teh broomstick into a deep dive.  Kazooie popped 
out of the backpack as noise erupted just outside the window. "Banjo!" she 
squawked in alarm. "Banjo, wake up!" The honey bear froaned and pulled a pillow 
over his head. "Aww, Kazooie, it's too early," came his muffled voice. "This is 
no time to be lazy, furface!" trilled the breegull, swinginig anxiously to and 
fro. "We've got trouble!" Banjo yawned, rolled over-- and fell out of bed in 
suprise as Kazooie's struggles suddenly toppled both the backpack and its stand 
onto the floor with a crash. At the same time a sudden gust of wind blew open 
the curtains, and beneath the peals of manic laughted fading into the distance, 
banjo heard the helpless cries of a voice he recognized... Tooty! The bear 
gulped, realizing that this was definetly going to be one of

                                2. The Main Characters
                                ======================
Banjo: This is the main person you will control throughout the course
of the game. Although he is very lazy he is a good swimmer, and climber!

Kazooie: Banjo's Loud-Mouth partner, Kazooie is always getting into trouble
once in a while you will "control" Kazooie, but not that much, she only has
a few moves. Her best talents are flying and picking fights.

Tooty: Banjo's highly annoying, cute, blond sister. she get captured by 
Gruntilda 
and you must save her. Thankfully she only appears about twice in the game!

Bottles: This near-sighted mole is of great use in the game, however i gind him
as annoying as tooty is. Kazooie and Bottles make for some interesting 
conversations
when they see each other, which is fun. Find bottles, and he will teach you a 
new move
every time you find him!

Brentilda: Gruntilda's sister, she will give you some tips, as well as tell you
some facts about grunty. this seems useless, but is it?

Mumbo Jumbo: This guy is hillarious, if you give him mumbo tokens, he will 
transform
you into different animals, like a bee!  His familiar saying "eek-um-bog-um" is 
extremly funny, for a while anyway. Visit him as much as possible in your quest!

Gruntilda: The ugly, disgusting witch that captured tooty, she often talks to 
you from
her lair. her ryhmes, are stupid, and get very annoying, overthrowing her is 
quite easy
as well. Not much else to say about her...

A: Jump
A,A: Feathery Flap
Z+A: BackFlip
B: Claw Attack
Running+B: Forward Roll
A+B: Rat-A-Tat-Rap
Z+B: Beak Barge
A+Z: Beak Buster
Z+C Left: Talon Trot
Z+C Right: Wonderwing
Z+C Down: Shoot Egg Behind 
Z+C Up: Shoot Egg Forward
B: Dive Under Water (While Floating In Water)
B: Swim (While sunderwater)
A: Swim (While Uunderwater)

                               4. Collectible Items
                               ====================

Jigsaw Pieces: These are the most important items of all, you need
these to beat grunty, you get them by either finding them or accomplishing
something....

Notes: While you need Jigsaw Pieces to beat the game, notes are what allow
you to get closer to gruntilda, if there were a way to get notes, without
getting jiggy's first, then jiggy's wouldn't be needed. but that would be
too easy nwo wouldn't it? To get Notes simply find them in the levels.

Jinjos: Find five of these in a level to get a jiggy!

Eggs: This is Kazooie's Ammo, find an egg and your total number of eggs will
increase by one. These are quite useful when used properly!

Red Feathers: Used for flying, each red feather increases your total by 1

Gold Feathers: Used for the wonderwing move, makes you invincible! only adds
1 to your total amount as always....

Mumbo Tokens: Give these to mumbo and he will transform you into a different 
animal!

Running Shoes: these make you run FAST, really fast! That's it!

Wading Boots: Find these and you can walk on dangerous parts of terrain, such as 
the Swamp!

Gold Banjo Statue: Get this and you will be granted an extra life!

Honeycomb Piece(Solid): Refills your energy bar by one piece.

Honeycome Piece(Hollow): Collect 6 of these and your total energy will increase 
by one! Collect as many of these as possible!

                                       5. Other Items
                                       ==============
Start\Exit Pad: This is where you will start when you enter a level, to exit, 
just step back onto the pad!

Shock Spring Pad: These green pads allow you to jump higher, stand on them and 
press and hold A to jum p super-high! Bottles will teach this to you!

Flight Pad: These Blue pads allow you to take flight! stand on them and press A 
to fly high into the sky, Bottles will also teach this to you!

Witch Switch: Beak Slam this and a Jiggy will appear in Grunty's lair!

Jigsaw Switch: Beak Slam this and a jiggy will appear in the current level, be 
quick though, it won't stay there for long!

Molehill: Press A next to these to meet up with Bottles!

Beehive: Break this open and 3 honeycomb pieces will fall out, great if you are 
low on energy! be careful though, some beehives have bees around them that get 
angry once you break the hive!

Mumbo's Hut: Go inside this skull-shaped hut if you find it! Mumbo is inside!

                              6. Item Amounts
                              ===============
Below is a list of the maximum number of items you can get in the game, as well 
as how to get them. This list includes every item possible to get in the game. 
If you see an error, item that is not listed here, etc please e-mail me:

Jigsaw Pieces: 100
How To Get: This is not simple to explain in detail, but here is the short 
format. Find 100 Jiggys, see the appropriate section for a more detailed 
explanation.

Musical Notes: 900
How To Get: Same as Jigsaw Pieces....

Jinjos: In a level, 5, in the game, 45(Note: you will not have a counter showing 
the number of jinjos you have)
How To Get: Find them in the levels!

Energy Bars: 16
How To Get: Find all of the Energy pieces in the levels, then open the door at 
the top of grunty's lair, and fill in the puzzle to get your number of energy 
bars doubled!

Mumbo Tokens: ???
How To Get: I am not sure how many you can have at one time, if you know, e-mail 
me!	

Blue Eggs: 200
How To Get: To be able to carry 200 eggs, find cheato, then enter the code 
'BLUEEGGS' on the sandcastle floor!

Red Feathers: 100
How to Get: To be able to carry 100 Feathers, find cheato(It's the one that the 
pumpkin can fit through), then enter the code 'REDFEATHERS' on the sandcastle 
floor!

Gold Feathers: 20
How To Get: To be able to carry 20 gold feathers, find the last cheato(It's in 
the rusty bucket bay region) then enter the code 'GOLDFEATHERS' on the 
sandcastle floor!

Extra Lives: ???
How To Get: I am not sure how many you can have at one time, if you know, e-mail 
me!

                               7. Secrets
                               ==========
Below are some of the secrets in Banjo-Kazooie. If you see any that aren't 
listed here that you know of please e-mail me, and i will give you full credit 
in the credits section! thanks!

Bottles' Bonus
==============
 
After Beating Treasure Trove Cove, go back to Banjo's House, outside Gruntilda's 
Lair. Once inside, look at the Bottles the mole picture and you will go into a 
secret game of put the moving puzzle pieces together. Once all the pieces are 
fitted, congratulations! You've just accessed the first code. To redeem it, go 
to Treasure Trove Cove, drain the water around the castle, and enter. Every time 
you complete one of his puzzles he will give you a new code, they are as 
follows:

First puzzle: BOTTLESBONUSONE this gives Banjo a big head. 
Second puzzle: BOTTLESBONUSTWO this gives Banjo big feet and hands. 
Third puzzle: BOTTLESBONUSTHREE this gives Kazooie a big head. 
Fourth puzzle: BOTTLESBONUSFOUR this gives Banjo a tall skinny body and a little 
head 
Fifth puzzle: BOTTLESBONUSFIVE this gives Banjo a tall skinny body little head, 
big hands, and big feet. 
Sixth puzzle: BIGBOTTLESBONUS this gives Banjo a tall skinny body, big head, big 
hands, big feet. (this code may also give Kazooie a big head too, I can't 
remember, you'll see when you try it) 
Seventh puzzle: WISHYWASHYBANJO this turns Banjo into a washing machine. He 
still has all his abilities, he just looks different. 
To cancel these codes, enter the word NOBONUS.

Extra Starting Animations
=========================
 
When picking a game to load, press START+R+A simultaneously. If your timing was 
right you'll be rewarded with a humourous animation.

Funnier Game Select Animations
==============================
 
Want to have some fun with Banjo when you load the game? Well, here's how. Go to 
the Game Select area and choose your game. Now, do one of the following:

On Game 1: Watch the fish swimming around in the fish-bowl. After a while he 
will butt his head into the side of the bowl, causing a TOCK sound. Immediately 
after you hear the third TOCK sound, press A and Banjo will be thrown out the 
window.

On Game 2: Again, watch the fish swimming around in the fish-bowl. After a while 
he will butt his head into the side of the bowl, causing a TOCK sound. 
Immediately after you hear the third TOCK sound, press A and the wall will spin 
around causing Kazooie to be chucked outside.

On Game 3: You must listen for the BOING sound coming from the Gameboy. The 
third time you hear it, press A and a giant spring will come out from the the 
bottom of the chair, launching Banjo out of the house.

Infinite Air

After entering CHEAT on the sandcastle floor in Treasure Trove cove, spell 
GIVETHEBEARLOTSOFAIR.
NOTE: You won't hear a sound confirming the code until you've entered the entire 
sentence.

After entering CHEAT on the sandcastle floor in Treasure Trove cove, spell

After entering CHEAT on the sandcastle floor in Treasure Trove cove, spell
