Every puzzle is reasonable and I suggest you really try to solve it on your own first. That way you will have more fun and enjoy a better experience !If your still stuck on a part after some time, I suggest you take a peek at this guide to give you a hint but continue on your own afterwards. Story -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Set in Goblinland, the story focuses on the malaise of King Balderon VIII whose favourite pet, the orycterope Riri, has run away - with more than a whiff of involvement from the ambitious Grand Steward Galantz. To ease the King's depression, three heroes are tasked with the quest of bringing Riri home. The game's main protagonist is Tchoup, a fully-certified detective of the realm who (apparently) has the nous to work out the most challenging of puzzles. Aided by friends Stucco and Perlius, he sets off on a quest involving various adventures, such as defeating strange monsters and even flying into deep space. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- III. Controls -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Everything is done using the mouse. Left-clicking on a goblin will take control of him. Left-clicking will then interact with people and objects using the current goblin. Right-clicking will bring up Tchoup's inventory. Double-clicking will make your goblins run instead of walk. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- IV. Characters -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Tchoup (T): Items can only be carried by Tchoup. Some items can be carried over to the next stage so Tchoup won't leave the level until he has everything he needs to proceed. Remember, he's the only one who can carry/use stuff. Stucco (S): He's strong so he'll be the only one able to perform certain actions throughout the game. Perluis (P): He can use magic to transform or lift some objects. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- V. Walkthrough -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- ============================== Level 1 - The detective agency ============================== In this level you only control Tchoup, the main goblin. Go see the bird in the window, he'll drop a letter. Pick up the letter from the floor and you'll learn that the king has requested your presence so you need to find your two buddies Stucco and Perluis. Pick up a rose next to the bird Grab the magnifying glass on a table on the left. Use the flower on the vase, a small moving object will come out. Use the magnifying glass on the small moving object next to the vase, you'll find out it's Kissoo the flea. Use the magnifying glass again on Kissoo and he'll tell you about your buddy Stucco's location. If you try to leave at this point, Tchoup will complain about his vegeterian plant not being fed. So grab the spoon on the shelf. Use the spoon on the jar on the opposite wall. Gherkins (vegeterian plant food i guess) will fly around and the bird will eat one (damn bird). Pick up the 3 remaining Gherkins and feed them to the plant. The plant is still hungry so you'll need something more. Go take a look at the bearded goblin on the left. It's a picture of your cousin who happens to have a carrot plantation. Use the pencil on the table to write him a letter. Grab the bread on the table. Feed the bread to the bird as he demands a tip for the previous errand. Give the letter you wrote to the bird...he'll come back with a carrot. Pick up the carrot and feed it to the plant. There you go...it's now happy ! Grab the gold tooth which is on the small table on the left (can't miss it really) and exit the room. Victory ! Other stuff (which does nothing to my knowledge): You can sit in the armchair and Tchoup will fall over. You can get a fishbone from the current case box next to the plant. You can look at the 3 goblins picture. You can take a look at your detective license on the wall. ============================== Level 2 - Ursula the Turtle ============================== In this level you'll meet Stucco. From now on, I will now use the first letter of each goblin's name to specify who should be performing the action. T: Go talk with Berthus, he'll hand you over the step ladder, pick it up. T: Use the step ladder on the flat area on Ursula's back. S: Operate the step ladder's handle. T: Climb the step ladder and get the bottle. T: Pick up a flower from the pot of flowers. T: Enter the lower floor room, Tchoup will drop a vase and it will break on the ground. T: Now, go on the upper floor (not in) and pick up the small pot on the rail and the Ladybug on the wall. S: Enter the upper floor room. Stucco will get a chair out. S: Push the chair until it reaches Berthus. S: Enter the upper floor room again. He'll get a drawer out this time. S: Push it until it reaches Berthus. S: Enter the upper floor room for a third and final time. He'll get a wardrobe out this time. S: Push it as far as it will go. T: Use the jar (formerly small pot) on the resin near Ursula. T: Use the resin on the broken vase, pick it up and Tchoup will hand it over to Berthus. T: While your at it, give the Ladybug and the Bottle to Berthus. T: Now, grab the plank in the grass behind Berthus and use it on the wardrobe that Stucco can't move. S: Jump on the plank and the wardrobe will make its way to Berthus. T: Pick up the plank that just fell on the ground and use it on the big rock in the bottom-right corner of the screen. T: Speak with Ursula twice and you'll learn about Perluis' location. T: Use the flower on Ursula to thank her for the tip. T: Grab your step ladder, pick up the gold tooth in the far distance above Ursula's neck and exit to the right. S: Exit to the right. Victory ! Other stuff (which does nothing to my knowledge): There is a bee coming and going. There is a kid jumping and sliding all around. If you try to talk to Ursula using Stucco, you'll get chewed on. ============================== Level 3 - The Dragon ============================== In this level, you'll meet Perluis whose magic will come in handy. T: Pick up the rung on the right. T: Place the rung on the broken ladder so you can climb it up. T: Pick up the skull next to the grass. T: Pick up the first jaw-bone in the belly of the dragon. S: Punch the wedged bone in the right pillar. T: Pick up the wedged bone (no longer wedged) and place it on the pile of bones on the ground next to the track. T: Also place the skull in the pile of bones. P: Use magic on the pile of bones, it'll come alive and cough up a seed. T: Pick up the seed and plant it in the soft earth (grass). T: Position yourself on the Dragon's tail. P: Use magic on the freshly planted seed and a plant ladder will grow. S: Climb the plant as Tchoup is too weak. S: Making sure Tchoup is on the Dragon's tail, punch the Dragon's head and Tchoup will join you up there. S: Punch the jaw bone wedged in the rock (top-center of the screen) and it will fall. T: Pick up the gold tooth on the right then the two remaining jaw bones on the ground. T: Get down and place the 3 jaw bones on the 3 skulls in the wall. P: Use magic on the skulls several times and you'll learn about an irritating plant and a moonstone. P: Use magic on the moonstone and you'll lift it. T: Retrieve the rung on the ladder and wedge it under the stone. T: Pick up the plant under the stone and grab back the rung. T: Place the rung back on the ladder again and climb up. T: Position yourself on the dragon's tail. S: Punch the Dragon's head so Tchoup can get up. T: Place the herbal irritant in the Dragon's mouth. P: Position yourself on the Dragon's tail. S: Punch the Dragon's head so Perluis can get up. P: Use magic on the Dragon's Head. T: Pick up the Crown and leave the screen through the door. P: Leave the screen through the door. Other stuff (which does nothing to my knowledge): There is a mushroom and a spider you can grow using Perluis' magic or fool around with using other goblins. You can read the parchment and index on the sign. You can use the magnifying glass on the inscription on the wall next to the door. ============================== Level 4 - The King's Castle ============================== This level is easy but still a pain in the ass because there is a lot of going back and forth between the two shores using the Froad(the frog)'s back. T: Get on the Froad's back S: Immediately punch the hive, this will send Tchoup on the other shore. T: Pick up the stick and then position yourself on the 3 rocks to the left of the drawbridge. S: Punch the hive T: As soon as the froad is on the castle's shore, get on its back, this will allow Tchoup to come back on the first shore S: Get on the Froad's back. T: Use the stick on the hive, Stucco should now be on the castle's shore. S: Keep pushing the big stone until it won't move anymore. S: Position yourself on the 3 rocks to the left of the drawbridge. T: Use the stick on the hive. S: As soon as the froad is on the castle's shore, get on its back, this will allow Stucco to come back on the first shore T: Get on the Froad's back S: Punch the hive T: Place the step ladder on the big stone's flat area T: Position yourself on the 3 rocks to the left of the drawbridge. T: Use the stick on the gong, it will bring out the King's Steward. T: Talk to the Steward, you'll learn that a joke book would cheer the king up. P: Use your magic on the bookcase to locate the joke book. S: Push the rolling ladder to the left. T: Retrieve the joke book and use it on the king. T: Talk to the king 3 times and he'll talk about a photo album. P: Use your magic on the bookcase to locate the photo album. T: Climb the rolling ladder. P: Use your magic on the rolling ladder to lift it up. Tchoup will automatically Pick up the photo album. T: Use the photo album on the king, he'll give you Riri's picture. S: Push the rolling ladder to the right. T: Use the stick on the gong, it will bring out the King's Steward. T: Talk to the Steward, he'll request a proof that your up for the job. T: Hand over the crown and the King's letter to the Steward. T: Speak with the Steward and he'll ask for the royal ledger. P: Use your magic on the bookcase to locate the royal ledger. S: Push the rolling ladder to the left. T: Pull out the big weighty tome at the bottom of the bookcase. T: Climb up the rolling ladder. S: Push the rolling ladder to the right with Tchoup on it. T: Pick up the ladger and hand it over to the Steward. T: Pick up wad of bills he drops. T: Push the weighty tome back into the bookcase. S: Push the rolling ladder to the right. T: Use the stick on the gong, it will bring out the King's Steward one last time. T: Speak with the Steward and you'll learn about a key hidden in the room. P: Use your magic to lift the left vase. T: Quickly pick up the key from under the vase. P: Use your magic to lift the right vase. T: Quickly pick up the gold tooth from under the vase. T: Use the key on Riri's room's door and enter to leave the screen. P: Use Riri's room's door to leave the screen. S: Use Riri's room's door to leave the screen. Victory ! T: Pick up Tchoup's figurine and the machine key. T: Insert the machine key in the bear's navel twice to learn the first clue: Star = 1 T: Position yourself on the story book. S: Quickly punch the bear's navel to send Tchoup on the right shelf. T: Pick up Stucco's figurine T: click on the bit of parchment in the book to learn the second clue: O = 2 P: Use magic on the giraffe. T: Get down using the giraffe. S: Kick the ball. T: Look at Riri's picture that fell behind the bottle to learn the third clue: Sun = 3 P: Use your Magic on the bottle to lift it. S: Quicly kick the ball on the bottle. T: Read the broken bottle's label to learn the fourth clue: Flower = 4 P: Use magic on the ball. T: Quickly read the inscription on the floor underneath the ball to learn the fifth clue: Moon = 5 S: Position yourself on the big domino. P: Use your magic on the domino to send Stucco on the box. T: Quickly use the machine key on the box's key hole to send Stucco on the left shelf. S: Quickly punch the Jack to send the gold tooth flying. S: Punch the Teddy bear's head. T: Put the chess piece on the chess board. T: Pick up Perluis' figurine which just came out of the board near the giraffe. T: Place each figurine on the corresponding letters on the floor, Tchoup's on T, Stucco's on S and Perluis' on P. T: Read the bit of parchment that just fell near the chess board from the ceiling. You'll learn the safe code: 3, 7, 5 S: Punch the King's picture on the right shelf (Stucco will climb the giraffe T: Position yourself on the story book. S: Quickly punch the bear's navel to send Tchoup on the right shelf. T: Open the safe and pick the pencil up. T: Get down and use the pencil on the drawings on the floor in that order: Star, O, Sun, Flower, Moon, Swirl and Flower. This will draw an arrow pointing to a slab. T: Jump on the rock. T: Use the big piece of plank on the mud. T: Jump on the plank to cross. T: Pick up the small piece of plank. T: Use the small piece of plank on the mud leading to the ladders. T: Jump on the small plank you just placed. FROM NOW ON, I WON'T TELL YOU TO JUMP ON THE PLANKS, JUST DO IT IF YOU HAVE TO GET SOMEWHERE !! T: Pick up the wrench, the third piece of wood and the bucket. T: Climb the first ladder and pick up the seed. T: Climb the second ladder and pick up the fishing rod. T: Climb the third ladder and pick up the magnet. T: Get down on the floor and use the fishing rod to pick up the flat piece of metal above the worm's head. T: Use the fishing rod to get the gear (cylindrical piece of metal) from the small island between the rock and the first piece of wood. T: Plant the seed in the soft earth. T: Cross to the chameleon side. S: Try crossing to the chameleon side, Stucco will sink in the mud. T: Use the fishing rod on Stucco's helmet to retrieve him. T: Place the bigger piece of wood in the mud. T: Place a pea (using the bucket) on each plank under the chameleon's head. (Not the planks you put in the mud but the three planks at the very far left end of the platform. S: When the carrot comes out, punch it ! T: Pick up the gold tooth. T: Climb on the top of the chameleon and use the spoon on the hatchway. T: Speak to the Captain. T: Repeat twice to speak with the captain. T: Give the captain the wrench, the gear and the flat piece of metal (Opening the hatchway with the spoon between each) T: Use the lever to position the chameleon's head over the third plank. S: Position yourself near the button. P: Position yourself near the third plank. T: Place a pea (using the bucket) on the three planks. P: As soon as a carrot come to eat the third plank pea, use your magic on it. S: As soon as the carrot is lifted, push the button. T: Use the magnet on the captured carrot to find out if it contains the missing metal part. T: If not, hit the eject lever on the cage. REPEAT THIS PROCESS FOR THE OTHER PLANKS, MOVING THE HEAD WITH THE LEVER TOWARDS THE CORRESPONDING PLANK FIRST, UNTIL YOU FIND THE METAL PIECE. T: Fill the rottent tooth with the seashell. T: Pick up the lettuce piece stuck between the teeth. T: Look at the fine groove on the broken tooth with the magnifying glass. S: Punch the broken tooth. T: Speak with the rabbit twice. That will get rid of Saladini's headaches. T: Use the stick on the root to ge rid of it. T: Use the fishing rod on the "To the stomach" (bottom of screen) T: Place the metal plate on the rectangular print. T: Use your step ladder on the metal plate. S: Activate the step ladder. S: Punch the uvula. T: Quickly pick up the gold tooth on the right side of the tongue. T: Climb the step ladder and grab the nail. T: Speak with the bird, he'll give you a feather.
