                               Introduction[DCINT]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to my Dragon's Crown FAQ/Walkthrough. Here I will be going over
everything that I know about the game. This guide is NOT spoiler free. If you
see any errors, have any questions, suggestions, or comments, feel free to
e-mail me at mrjhwar@hotmail.com with a subject Dragon's Crown.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                               Walkthrough[DCWAL]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I will go through each dungeon by section number. If it's an optional room in a
section, it will be called "section # room." I will mention the monsters
that may appear. Refer to the enemies section of my guide if needed. I'll also
mention the kinds of treasure chest you can find. Runes are sometimes random so
I'll only mention notable ones that are always there. Also note that if this is
the first time you're playing this game, you won't have access to runes until
later in the game.

-----------------------------------------
First Part (Intro/Tutorial/Path A)[DCWA1]
-----------------------------------------

The first part of the game is basically a long tutorial. It will slowly
introduce you to all the stalls and features of the game. Most of the story is
also in this part. While you're in this part, you won't be able to play online
though you can play local coop.

Go ahead and do the tutorial at the beginning. After that, go to the
adventurers guild. Choose option A to continue (if you choose option B, the
game will just make you try again so feel free to try option B). Then head to
the gate to go to the Ancient Temple Ruins.

   Teleport

The gazer will teleport throughout the fight.

   Bite

The gazer will open his mouth and chase someone. Evade when he gets near.

   Laser

The gazer will fire a laser straight ahead and down. It's very fast and
damaging. Do not evade backwards as he will catch up and get you. Evade up and
down into different planes to avoid it.

   Fire Circle

The gazer will cast fire around him. Evade out of there.

   Launch Fireballs

The gazer will launch a line of fireballs into your general location. Easy to
avoid but it will create a vertical line of fire that stays for awhile.

   Launch Magic Missiles

The gazer will launch 3 magic missiles, sometimes several times in a row. It
will home in on you for awhile. It doesn't do a lot of damage but it stuns for
a split second which may be enough time for the other magic missiles to hit you
and it adds up really fast. Keep evading them.

   Super Explosion

The gazer will turn into a water mine looking thing and float around. It will
sometimes teleport as well. This is the perfect time to attack for a few
seconds. Be prepared to evade out since there will be a very big explosion
soon.

When you're back in town, go to Lucain's Tower, then to the Castle, and then
you're done with the First Part! Now you can take path B of each dungeon and
play with others online. Also, Path A's level should be between 15-20 now so
keep that in mind.

------------------------------------------
Second Part (Path B/Final Boss/LoC)[DCWA2]
------------------------------------------

The second part of the game is where the meat of the game is at. You can take
path B of each dungeon which features slightly different paths and different
bosses. You can also play with others online which I personally find more
interesting.

There isn't much of a story here. Just beat all the path B bosses within a time
limit to get the talisman then fight the last boss. After that, you can go to
LoC or a higher difficulty level to repeat this process again with a higher
level cap.

You can also chain runs now. After finishing a dungeon, you get the option to
continue. When you do, you'll go to the dungeon to the right in the map without
returning to town. You get better rewards such as more score, more gold, and
better loot. So what keeps you from doing this forever? Your gear can't be
repaired so they will eventually break. You spells won't replenish either.
If you die too many times, the cost the revive may become too expensive.

I listed the dungeons in the order they appear in the map from left to right.
When you continue from a dungeon, it will be the next dungeon you see in this
guide.

   Tentacles

While the tentacle are up, the Kraken can't be hurt. The tentacles will do a
slam which is easy to avoid. During this time, the only other moves you have to
watch out for is Flood and Poison Line.

   Flood

The Kraken is trying to flood the whole place causing you to escape. Each time
the Kraken breaks a pillar, a wave will go from right to left. Jump or evade to
not get hurt.

   Poison Line

The Kraken will launch a vertical line of poison that will stay for a while.
Just stay out of it.

   Summon

Whenever the 2 tentacles go down, 2 lizardman will come from the left. You can
either ignore them and focus on the boss or kill them first.

   Poison Gas

The Kraken will spew poison gas in front of him. Back off when the poison gas
is there since it does a ton of damage.

   Water Jet

The Kraken will fire a burst of water. Evade through it.

   Time Limit

If enough time passes, the whole place will flood and you'll escape. This is
also the only way to do the quest "Living Fossil."

 * BOSS: Gargoyle Gate *

   Cannon

You will have NPC knight allies who will bring out a cannon during the fight.
Cannonballs are dropped by elite goblins such as goblin mages and red caps.
Kill those, grab a cannonball, attack the cannon with the cannonball to load
it, grab a torch that should be nearby, then attack the cannon with the torch
to launch it. It will do a lot of damage to the gate.

   Summon

Throughout the fight, orcs and goblins will be flowing in. Either ignore them
and try to damage the gate as much as possible to speed things up or kill them
and mainly damage the gate with a cannon.

   Slam

Whenever the gate is up, it will slam down and do damage to anybody nearby.

   Flame

It will open its mouth for a bit then shoot a big linear flame out. It's very
damaging so stay on a different plane than the gate when it opens its mouth.

   Spread Fire

Sometimes when it opens its mouth, it will just spread a bit of fire nearby.
It's somewhat damaging so don't be near it when it opens its mouth either.

   Fireballs from Sky

Throughout the fight, there will be fireballs from the sky. Try your best to
stay out of the markers on the ground that indicate a fireball is coming.

 * BOSS: Wraith *

   Vulnerability

The Wraith takes very little damage in the first room you encounter it. You
have to attack the destroy the wall to the right and enter it. Once you do,
pick up the torch, kill the 3 ghosts so they doesn't bother you later, then
attack the cancle on the statue to the right with the torch to light it. Now is
when the Wraith will take full damage. The candle will eventually run out. When
it does, grab the torch and repeat with the next statue to the right.

   Summon

Throughout the fight, there will be skeletons and undeads harassing you. The
undeads are the ones that make this a tough fight by grabbing you. Try to kill
them off with collateral damage.

   Swipe

The Wraith will do swipes. Try to stay behind the Wraith to avoid it. It can
freeze you so be careful.

   Throw Scythe

The Wraith will throw his scythe like a boomerang. It's slow so just evade it.

   Ice Bolts

The Wraith will launch ice bolts in your general location. It's easy to see
coming and inaccurate so don't worry about it too much.

   Time Limit

You basically get a total of 5 statues to kill the Wraith. If you run out of
statues, you can try to finish it off if it has low health. Otherwise, it will
take too long and you're probably better off escaping by going right.

   Make Pit Vipers

Medusa will be constantly making pit vipers. While they are easy to kill, you
will take a bunch of damage if they manage to bind you.

   Swipe

Medusa will constantly be swiping left and right.

   Petrify

Medusa's eyes will glow orange for awhile and then cast petrify. Look away when
that happens. One thing to remember is that if you evade away, you'll be
looking straight at the Medusa so be careful when evading. Petrify itself does
a lot of damage and any damage you take while petrified will be high.

   Sparks

Medusa will sometimes let out a bunch of sparks instead of petrifying when her
eyes turn orange. They don't do too much damage and can pretty much be ignored.

   Eye Lasers

Medusa will sometime fire eye lasers on the ground when her eyes glow. Stay
away from its path since it does quite a bit of damage.

   Escape

If you head right to the next section, you will continue through until you
reach Medusa again. You get 3 treasure chests with 1 of them being a golden but
even if you beat Medusa when you see her again, you'll escape and get less
experience. If you're doing loot runs and don't care about experience, it may
be better to just escape.

once the gate starts closing, cyclops from the other side will try to go
through. Attack the hand that tries to stop the gate from closing to prevent
that from happening.

   Punch

The cyclops will punch sometimes 2 to 3 times in a row. He'll sometimes punch
the other side so be careful for that.

   Slam

The cyclops will do a big slam that also causes a shockwave. Very damaging but
easy to see coming.

   Jump

The cyclops will try to jump on you. Easy to see coming.

   Rock Throw

The cyclops will grab a rock from the ceiling and throw it at you. Easy to see

 * BOSS: Arch Demon *

   Swipe

He'll do a swipe which has limited range. Just don't stay in front of him.

   Grab

He will grab you and do a lot of damage if you don't escape. Press a bunch of
buttons to escape ASAP.

   Random Thunder

He will cast thunder all over the place. You have less than a second to react
once you see a thunder is about to be cast on you. Be on your toes.

   Elemental + Bombs

He will cast a certain elemental bomb all over the place. It will blow up in a
+ sign. Move or evade diagonally to avoid it.

   Straight Thunder

He will cast thunder straight ahead of him. Just be behind him or on a
different plane.

   Teleport

He will teleport around and eventually to a random player to do a swipe or
grab. Just anticipate that he may teleport to you and prepare to evade.

   Summon Demons

He will summon a bunch of demons and black demons throughout the encounter.
They are what makes this encounter more annoying than it should be. I would
focus on killing the arch demon since they replenish way too fast.

   Spark Portal

He makes some kind of portal on the ground where purple sparkles come out and
homes in on you. It's slow and easy to evade.

   Time Limit

If you don't defeat him within a time limit, you'll escape the dungeon.

   Jump

The dragon will jump at you. When he lands, treasure will fall down and damage
and knock you down. Evade around the best you can.

   Bite

The dragon will bite in the direction it's looking at. Evade or block it.

   Punch

The dragon will punch in the direction it's looking at. It's kind of hard to
see coming unless you stare at his hands. It's damaging and it knocks back so
try to watch out for it.

   Slam

The dragon will slam the ground hurting anyone on the ground. It will also
cause treasure to fall down and damage and knock you down. Evade the best you
can.

   Flame

The dragon will sweep the whole room with fire. The whole room will burn for
awhile. The fire sweep itself is easy to evade but you will probably burn from
the aftermath.

This happens when you continue right through the door you can open by clicking
on it. It's easier to survive and deal damage and you get access to a big arrow
launcher which deals a lot of damage to the dragon. The drawback is that you
have limited time before you escape. You should ideally do some damage to the
dragon in the treasure room before going this route.

   Run

This is when the dragon is running at you. Do not get too close to the dragon
or you will get hurt. You may attack his head from the air though.

   Slam

The dragon will slam the ground hurting anyone on the ground. It will also
cause treasure to fall down and damage and knock you down. Evade the best you
can.

   Fireball

The dragon will launch a fireball diagonally down. Easy to avoid.

   Flame

The dragon will flame the whole screen. The narrator will give you a warning as
well. Pick up the big shield and get behind it to avoid damage.

   Escape

If you don't kill the dragon by the time you get to the bridge, you'll escape.

The lion will sometimes launch a fireball. It's easy to see coming.

   Fire Sweep

The lion will sweep the whole room with fire. The sweep is easy to evade but
the leftover fire will most likely hurt you and put you on fire. Try to stay in
the air or find a spot without fire.

   Ice

The goat will cast ice under your feet. When you see a mist around your
character, get out of there.

   Thunder

The goat will cast thunder around the room. This is faster than Ice and is
tough to avoid. Try to anticipate and evade it.

   Poison

The snake will launch a poison ball. Very slow and easy to avoid but leaves a

   Charging Bite

you'll get stunned.

   Jumping

It will jump in place which stuns and does a lot of damage. Don't get too
close.

   Storm

The rabbit will turn into a storm and follow players around. The rabbit can't
be hurt at this point. Good thing is that the storm is easy to avoid and won't
do a lot of damage as long as you try to stay away and evade out.

   Deadly Bite

The rabbit will emit green gas and jump with a red flash. If you get hit, it's
instant death no matter what. Evade the heck away from the rabbit. The rabbit
may do this a few times in a row so don't assume it's safe after he lands.

open a portal to the right. There you will fight...

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
 * BOSS: Ancient Dragon *

   Fireball

It will start forming fire in its mouth in a specific direction.
Then it will launch a fireball from its mouth. If it's in the direction that
you're in, evade away from it or time an invulnerability move to it.

   Breath Fire

It will start forming fire in its mouth and the screen will
zoom out. Then it will breath fire and sweep the whole screen from one side to
the other. Either take advantage of a invulnerability move during that time or
evade through it.

   Storm

You'll see 2 green swirls on the left and right. If left alone,
you'll have really difficult to evade storms sweep the whole screen. One thing
you can do is kill one of the swirls ASAP. if you do, the storm won't appear on
that side of the screen. Another thing you can do is time an invulnerability
right when you see storms coming.

   Explosion

You'll see 3 flames falling from the sky. If left alone, the
whole screen will explode with fire and it's very difficult to evade. You can
kill the flame coming down the middle then stay in the middle and continue to
DPS the boss.

   Thunder

You'll see thunder clouds at the top. After awhile, there is a
quick thunder that occurs below each cloud. Just remember where the clouds are
and try to stay away from them.

   Bite

It will kind of move its head back and bite in the direction it's
looking at. This should be easy to see coming so evade/invulnerability
appropriately.

   Slam

You'll see the dragon move up. It will slam and damage anyone on the
ground. It's easy to see coming so time an jump/evade/invulnerability
appropriately.

   Summon Skeletons

You'll see skeletons come from each side of the screen.
There can be tough blue elites and some may be carrying crossbows. This is what
gives most people trouble so I will go into some ways they can be dealt with.

1. Kill them all. The problem with this is that you'll lose a lot of DPS on the
boss. If you have a way to damage both the boss and the skeletons, then go
ahead. One thing wizards can do is extinct as many as possible then go back to
the boss until they can extinct again. Otherwise, go for the other strategies.

2. Ignore them. This is only doable if you have a class that can ignore them
and still maintain a respectable DPS on the boss. Amazon can do this by
brandishing and Dwarf can do this with grand smashes. Otherwise, go for other
the strategies.

3. Kill the one with the crossbow only. As you probably know by now, the
crossbow causes a nasty knockdown. Kill the one with the crossbow ASAP, take
the crossbow so the others can't use it, use it up on the skeletons and kill
as many as possible, then go back to the boss. This is probably the most ideal
way to deal with the skeletons.

The best time to kill off leftover skeletons is during the flight phase of the
boss since you can't DPS the boss that well during that time. The only
exception would be if the boss is really close to death and can be finished off
with a few reflected green missiles.

   Flight Phase

After a certain amount of time, the dragon will go into flight phase. During
this time, you can't attack the boss directly but it won't
be doing any major attacks to you either except at the beginning and the end.

At the beginning right when it flies away, he'll fill the whole screen with
fire. The only way to avoid that would be to be behind one of the walls on the
sides or by being invulnerable. I'm not sure if it can be evaded but I've
failed my attempts at it so far.

Once it's at the top of the screen, it will start firing green missiles at the
walls on each side. They aren't targeted at you but it can still damage you for
a trivial amount of damage. If you attack them, it will reflect back to the
boss for a little bit of damage. Even if it's minor, it gives you something to
do. It's also possible to extend the life of the walls.

Skeletons will still spawn during this time. They should be easy to deal with
since the dragon isn't attacking you directly. I would focus on killing the
skeletons rather than reflecting the green missiles at this point to reduce
headache when the dragon comes back. The exception would be if the dragon can
be finished off with the reflected green missiles.

At the end of flight phase, the dragon will fly and swipe the whole screen.
It can be avoided by being behind a wall or by being invulnerable.

   Heal

This is a move that's only used if certain conditions are met. It
will only occur when it comes back from flight phase and only when its health
is below a certain amount. What this means is that if your DPS on the boss is
not high enough, you won't be able to defeat it.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Congratulations on defeating the Ancient Dragon! Now you can go into LoC, the
Colosseum, or go to the next difficulty. Harder difficulties means higher level
cap, more experience, more enemies, more elites, and faster bosses.

       ----------

       ----------

LoC stands for Labyrinth of Chaos. You get access to it once you beat the
Ancient Dragon. It is basically a random dungeon generator. When you beat
normal Ancient Dragon, you get access to floors 1-3, when you beat hard Ancient
Dragon, you get access to floors 4-6, and when you beat Infernal Ancient
Dragon, you get access to floors 7-99.

You can only get access to the next floor by beating the current floor you're
at. Each floor has 3 stages to beat and you have to beat them all in one
chain. Every 9 floors has just 1 stage with a boss which I'll go over in the
boss section of this guide.

Each floor will give you the specified reward each time you clear it but with
different attributes in white text. You can get amnesia elixir which refunds
most skill points on floors 3, 6, 9 just once and on floor 99 as many times as
you want. You'll also get a Seal of the Conquerer once at floor 9. After floor
9, it will have the same loots rewards from floors 1-9 repeating with them
being level 99. Above floor 18, it will repeat the exact same rewards but
enemies will continue to get tougher.

Trying to play with randoms online is iffy in LoC. You can't just join a random
person's room from the get go like with the usual dungeons. You can either
start clearing and hoping someone ends up joining in random or end up joining
a random person's room after continuing a chain. The problem is that it will
send you to a random floor that you may not desire. Even if you clear a deeper
floor than where you're at, it won't be cleared. It can also interrupt your
progress on a floor and send you somewhere else.

In LoC, the enemies levels can go up to 255 but you're stuck at 99. Enemies,
especially elites, will take a bunch of hits to die and hit like trucks. Some
classes will have a harder time than others because of this deeper into LoC.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                                 Enemies[DCENE]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here I will go over each of the enemies and what to watch out for.

   Bandit Tommit

Locations: Randomly almost everywhere

Will show up randomly and steal drops and treasure chests. He has a lot of
health and fast. He attacks or retaliates with bombs. You usually have to
deplete his health a couple of times. Once he is killed, you will get back
everything that he took.

   Brood Corpse

Locations: Castle of the Dead: Catacombs, Ghost Ship Cove

Morbidly obese undead thing. It is really slow but it does a very damaging
vomit. Once killed, it will blow up and spread vomit and maggots around. Just
be sure to avoid the vomiting and blowing up and you should be fine.

   Demon - Black Demon

Locations: Forgotten Sanctuary, Mage's Tower

They are those annoying flying red or black round demons. The red ones fling
fireballs and cast fire under your feet. The black ones cast thunder all over
the place. They aren't tough but they do a lot of damage and can be annoying
to hit. Be sure to evade a lot. If there is a demon portal, take that out first
ASAP.

   Diana

Locations: Ancient Temple Ruins, Forgotten Sanctuary

They are the stationary statues that shoot arrows. Just approach them from a
different plane.

   Doppelganger

Locations: Mage's Tower

They look like hunched skeletons with a transparent skin. They will jump around
and try to bump into you. If they succeed, they will turn into you and become
more dangerous. Try not to let them bump into you and once they do, just kill
them accordingly.

   Dragonlisks

   Woods Path A

They are the raptors that breath fireballs. If you knock them down, you can
ride them and cast fireballs.

Forgotten Sanctuary, Mage's Tower, Lost Woods

They teleport around and cast all kinds of spells including fire, poison,
thunder, ice, and web. They can do quite a bit of damage. They are also
resistant to magic. After they cast their magic or if they get hit, they will
teleport to the other side of the room. Just be sure to keep moving and evading
as needed.

   Fighter - Gladiator

Locations: Forgotten Sanctuary, Mage's Tower, Lost Woods

They are humans in armor. They can charge, attack, twirl, jump attack, or cast
light magic. The gladiator can take a beating and deal damage but they are
pretty easy to evade.

   Ghosts

Locations: Castle of the Dead: Catacombs, Old Capital Path A, Ghost Ship Cove
Path A, Forgotten Sanctuary Path A, Wallace's Underground Fortress Path B

They are the white spirits. They can only be damage by fire such as a torch,

damage if you let them touch you.

poison around and sometimes goes back to the sky. They are easy to evade and
easy to kill.

Goblins - Goblin Mages - Red Caps

Locations: Ancient Temple Ruins, Old Capital, Bilbaron Subterranean Fortress,
Forgotten Sanctuary Path A, Wallace's Underground Labyrinth Path B

They are the small green dudes that usually come in multiples. Regular goblins
may come with a dagger, crossbow, or bomb. Regular goblins are weak but the
ones with a crossbow may get annoying. Goblin mage is just a bit tougher but
casts a bunch of dangerous hard to evade spells. Take them out ASAP. Red caps
are a lot tougher, a lot faster, and can do stunning and damaging combos.
Evade a lot to not get stunned.

   Hellhounds

Locations: Forgotten Sanctuary, Mage's Tower Path A

Dogs with fire. They will spit fire but it's really easy to see coming. They
are easy to deal with.

   Killer Fishes

They are fishes.... They can't be attacked until they jump at you but they
usually die in one hit.

   Living Mud

unavoidable big damage. As long as you avoid their grabs, you should be fine.

   Lizardman - Boss Lizardman

Locations: Old Capital, Ghost Ship Cove, Lost Woods, Ancient Temple Ruins Path
   A

They are lizardmen with spears. They can jump attack, swing, stab, throw, or
twirl their spears. They also have a really close range but damaging poison
spit. The blue ones will generally stay back and throw their spears while the
green ones and the boss lizardmen with come at you. The main thing you want to
watch out for is their spear twirls. They are resistant to knockback and they
do a lot of damage while doing that move. Just stay back when they do that.

   Myconids

Locations: Wallace's Underground Labyrinth Path A

The mushroom dudes. They are very easy to deal with. The small ones may hide in
the corner to grow big but even then, they are easy to deal with.

   Orcs - Orc Chieftains

Locations: Ancient Temple Ruins, Bilbaron Subterranean Fortress, Old Capital
   Path A

They are the big green humanoids. They do usual attacks though what you want to
watch out for is the jump attack. It's easy to see coming but it's very
damaging. Otherwise, they aren't too hard to deal with.

   Owlbears

Locations: Ancient Temple Ruins, Mage's Tower, Old Capital, Lost Woods

They are big bears with an owl face? They will only show up randomly in wooded
areas. They are a bit resistant to knockback and can deal decent damage so
approach from range.

   Pirates - Assassins

Locations: Ghost Ship Cove Path A

They are pirates with swords. The regular ones are easy to deal with and evade.
The assassins with the red sword on the other hand are difficult. They will
teleport, cast binding webs, do devastating combos, and they are resistant to
knockbacks. I would mainly approach them in range if possible or attacks with
invulnerability frames.

   Pit Viper

Locations: Ancient Temple Ruins, Mage's Tower, Lost Woods Path A

They are snakes. They are easy to kill but can do a damaging grab so watch out
for that.

   Sabertooths

Locations: Old Capital, Lost Woods, Bilbaron Subterranean Fortress Path A

They are the big darkish blue sabertooths. They can knock you down when they
are running. If you knock them down, you can ride them. Regular attack is a big
bite that does extra damage to knocked down enemies. Just dashing and jumping
will do a bit of damage and knock enemies down.

   Scorpions

Locations: Old Capital, Bilbaron Subterranean Fortress, Forgotten Sanctuary

They are scorpions and they usually come in multiples. Though they can poison
and do some damage, they are really easy to kill.

   Skeletons - Wights

Locations: Wallace's Underground Labyrinth, Castle of the Dead: Catacombs,
Ghost Ship Cove, Ancient Temple Ruins Path A, Old Capital Path A

Skeletons with a sword and shield. They sometimes come with crossbows. Regular
skeletons are easy to kill though the one with the crossbow can be annoying.
Wights, the blue elite skeletons, have a freezing chance to their attacks and
are resistant to knockback so be careful for that.

   Slime

Locations: Wallace's Underground Labyrinth, Mage's Tower

Green slime that expand rapidly. Mainly weak to fire but can be beaten down.
They will only do damage if you touch them.

   Thief

They appear in multiples in certain places. They look like Tommit but they
don't attack at all and they die easily. Time to relieve some stress caused by
Tommit....

   Undeads - Ghouls

Locations: Wallace's Underground Labyrinth, Castle of the Dead: Catacombs,
   Ghost Ship Cove

They look like zombies. They will charge at you and grab you. If they are
knocked down, they will lie dormant and grab anyone who steps on them. Try to
approach them from range or evade through them and attack a bit from behind.

   Vampire Bats

Locations: Almost everywhere

They are bats. They will fly at you and do consistent damage. They are weak but
can be annoying to attack since they are flying around.

   Wasps

Locations: Ancient Temple Ruins, Lost Woods, Wallace's Underground Labyrinth
Path A, Forgotten Sanctuary Path A

They are really big wasps. They will try to dive sting you or launch stingers
at you. They are easy to kill but can be annoying to attack since they are
flying around. If there is a wasp nest, take that out first ASAP.

   Wood Golems

Locations: Mage's Tower, Lost Woods, Wallace's Underground Labyrinth

They are tree trunks that move and attack. They are slow but can take a beating
and are resistant to knockback. When you see them charging for an attack, they
will probably get it off so be sure to avoid it.

   Worms

Locations: Wallace's Underground Labyrinth Path A

They are big worms with tentacles. They will bite or try to poison you. They
are easy to kill.

---------------------------------------
             Chimera[DCBCH]
---------------------------------------

The arm by the lion's head will occasionally swipe. It's easy to see coming.

   Fireball

The lion will sometimes launch a fireball. It's easy to see coming.

   Fire Sweep

The lion will sweep the whole room with fire. The sweep is easy to evade but
the leftover fire will most likely hurt you and put you on fire. Try to stay in
the air or find a spot without fire.

   Ice

The goat will cast ice under your feet. When you see a mist around your
character, get out of there.

   Thunder

The goat will cast thunder around the room. This is faster than Ice and is
tough to avoid. Try to anticipate and evade it.

   Poison

The snake will launch a poison ball. Very slow and easy to avoid but leaves a
puddle of poison in that area for a long time.

   Time Limit

If you don't kill the Chimera after the second drop, the third drop will cause

At the beginning, grab the key and attack the keyhole on the ground to start
the process of closing the gate. Otherwise, more cyclops will keep coming in.
once the gate starts closing, cyclops from the other side will try to go
through. Attack the hand that tries to stop the gate from closing to prevent
that from happening.

   Punch

The cyclops will punch, sometimes 2 to 3 times in a row. He'll sometimes punch
the other side so be careful for that.

   Slam

The cyclops will do a big slam that also causes a shockwave. Very damaging but
easy to see coming.

The cyclops will try to jump on you. Easy to see coming.

   Rock Throw

The cyclops will grab a rock from the ceiling and throw it at you. Easy to see

coming. Time an evade/block or get out of there.

The beetle will open his mouth wide then bite. Easy to see coming so evade or
get out of there.

The beetle will tilt its head down a bit and charge. Evade it.

---------------------------------------
         Gargoyle Gate[DCBGA]
---------------------------------------

Location: Bilbaron Subterranean Fortress Path B

It's very
damage so stay on a different plane than the gate when it opens its mouth.

   Spread Fire

Sometime when it opens its mouth, it will just spread a bit of fire nearby.
It's somewhat damaging so don't be near it when it opens its mouth either.

   Fireballs from Sky

Throughout the fight, there will be fireballs from the sky. Try your best to
stay out of the markers on the ground that indicate a fireball is coming.

The gazer will open his mouth and chase someone. Evade when he gets near.

This is the perfect time to attack for a few
seconds. Be prepared to evade out since there will be a very big explosion
soon.

---------------------------------------
             Golem[DCBGO]
---------------------------------------

Location: Forgotten Sanctuary Path A

   Ally Golem

Click on the 2 runes by him + green to activate him. He will slowly but surely
get to the enemy golem. Protect him from the demons, goblins, and hellhounds.
Once he reaches the enemy golem, the golems will swing at each other dealing
good damage to each other.

   Summon

Throughout the fight, demons, hellhounds, and goblins with bombs will
constantly show up. They are generally not that bad but the demons can end up
hurting you a lot. Continue killing them off to minimize damage to your golem.

  Swing

The enemy golem will swing his sword at you if you or your ally golem gets
nearby. It's super long charge time so just stay away from his front. If you
happen to get hit, it will usually take out most of your health so don't get
hit.

to worry about it.

   Throw Feathers

The harpy will throw 3 feathers in front of her. Just stay behind her and you
don't have to worry about it.

   Grab

The harpy will grab you. This is super fast and hard to avoid but as long as
you get out of the grab fast by pressing all your buttons, you shouldn't take
any damage.

   Swoop

When the harpy is flying high in the air, it will swoop at you. It's pretty
easy to see coming so evade it.

   Storm

The harpy will cast storm. I find it hard to see coming and it's quite
damaging. Just be prepared to evade out of the way.

         Killer Rabbit[DCBKI]

   Bite

The rabbit will do a biting motion for awhile. Don't get too close or you'll
get stunned and lose a lot of life.

   Charging Bite

The rabbit will do a biting motion while on the move. Don't get in the way or
you'll get stunned.

   Time Limit

If time runs out, you'll see knights coming in and a supply of bombs for you to
use. You will end up escaping at this point no matter what you do.

---------------------------------------
             Kraken[DCBKR]
---------------------------------------

Location: Ghost Ship Cove Path B

The Kraken will fire a burst of water. Evade through it.

   Time Limit

If enough time passes, the whole place will flood and you'll escape. This is
also the only way to do the quest "Living Fossil."

   Make Pit Vipers

Medusa will be constantly making pit vipers. While they are easy to kill, you
will take a bunch of damage if they manage to bind you.

   Swipe

Medusa will constantly be swiping left and right.

   Petrify

Medusa's eyes will glow orange for awhile and then cast petrify. Look away when
that happens. One thing to remember is that if you evade away, you'll be
looking straight at the Medusa so be careful. Petrify itself does a lot of
damage and any damage you take while petrified will be high.

You get 3 treasure chests with 1 of them being a golden but
even if you beat Medusa when you see her again, you'll escape and get less
experience. If you're doing loot runs and don't care about experience, it may
be better to just escape.

and they should die off from collateral damage.

see coming unless you stare at his hands.

   Slam

cause treasure to fall down and damage and knock you down. Evade the best you

---------------------------------------
             Wraith[DCBWR]
---------------------------------------

Location: Castle of the Dead: Catacombs Path B

   Swipe

freeze you so be careful.

---------------------------------------

Location: Old Capital Path A

   Bite

The wyvern will bite. Just evade or block it.

While in the air, he'll swoop straight ahead. Evade it.

   Summon

Once he is hurt enough, he'll start summoning more wyverns. They are weaker and
can easily be killed with collateral damage.

----------------------------------------
           Final Boss[DCBFI]
----------------------------------------

Location: With all 9 talismans in possession, go to gate, click on the Z rune
on the circle of symbols and your 2 black runes, enter the portal to the right.

During
this time, you can't attack the boss directly but it won't be doing any major
attacks to you either except at the beginning and the end.

---------------------------------------
           LoC Boss[DCBLO]
---------------------------------------

Location: LoC Floors Multiples of 9

   Ice Blast

Horizontal ice blast. It's fast but easy to avoid. Just keep evading.

   Shake Horns

The Demon Lord will shake his horns around to hit everything near his head.
Kind of hard to see coming so be cautious.

   Gravity Well

Creates a gravity well that sucks you in. Go in the opposite direction as much
as you can so you don't get stuck.

   Petrify x3

He'll cast petrify from 3 different places: one left, one middle, one right.
Normally no big deal but other things will be distracting you. Try to get to
one side of the screen so you can just look away all 3 of them in one
direction. Or you can wear some gear it petrification immunity.

   Storm

A yellow circle appears on the ground and a storm appears. Evade out of there
ASAP as it's very damaging.

   Ice Prison

He'll cast Ice Walls around that can't be jumped over Destroy it ASAP if it has
you trapped in a confined space.

   Elemental Rain

He'll launch a bunch of magic of a certain element into the air and it will
rain in a general location. Easy to see coming and avoid.

   Draining Well

A black purple circle that will recover his health if you are in it. Stay out
of it.

   Eye Ice Beam

A very quick eye ice beam that can freeze you. Evade into a different plane
ASAP.

   Explosion

A red orange circle with fire gathering up that eventually explodes. Very
damaging but super easy to see coming. Just don't go there.

   Summon

Doppelgangers, Demons, and Skeletons will be summoned. I would try to ignore
and avoid them as much as possible and focus DPS on the boss. Even better if
you can attack both boss and them.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                                 Cooking[DCCOO]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I will quickly cover everything I know about cooking.

The cooking minigame will occur after stages Ghost Ship Cove, Ancient Temple
Ruins, and Old Capital. The bonuses you get from cooking will last you until
you're next cooking minigame or when you return to town. There will be a
cooking minigame after each floor of LoC as well but without any boss
ingredients.

   Cooking Time

The most important thing when it comes to cooking is cooking
time. No matter what you do, be sure the food is fully cooked and that it
doesn't over cook. If it's under or over cooked, it will always give you poor
stats.

You'll know when something is fully cooked by seeing if it can be stirred which
is the left icon when you press a pot or pan. The left icon won't exist if the
food is fully cooked. This is when you should eat the food ASAP. Don't waste
time by trying to add another spice and just eat it. You'll know if you're too
late when you see black smoke coming out.

   Ingredient

The second most important thing is the ingredient. There are 2
kinds of ingredient: regular and boss. Regular ingredients are ones that appear
as long as a boss ingredient doesn't replace them. Boss ingredients will only
show up when you beat that boss before getting to the cooking minigame.

In general, boss ingredients will be better than regular ingredients. If you
see a boss ingredient, get it ASAP. Be sure to use all 3 spices on them to get
the maximum benefit and please don't under or over cook it.

Possible boss ingredients include minotaur tongue, gazers, red dragon cut,
worms(doom beetle), chimera brain, killer rabbit, kraken, arch demon heart,
harpy eggs, wyvern meat, and myconids(clear Wallace's Underground Labyrinth
Path A).

Some good regular ingredients include carrots, green beans, rabbit, chicken,
snake, scorpions, and barracuda(orange cross section of a fish).

   Spices

There are 3 spices in each camp. They have a multiplier specific
for each ingredient. I highly recommend using all 3 spices whenever you can. If
it's a boss ingredient, I say it's a must to get the most benefit.

   Strategy

I recommend memorizing your position before cooking starts. Then
look for the ingredient that you know gives you a lot of bonus. Then use that
ingredient, put in all 3 spices if you can, stir until fully cooked, then eat
it. During all this, you should be looking for the next best ingredient.

If you are alone, cook 2 ingredients at a time. There is a bit of down time
during the stirring part so use that time to cook another ingredient.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                ChainRun/Allies/Online/Scaling/XP/Loot[DCINF]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here I will go over chain runs, allies, online, enemy scaling, experience, and
loot.

      ----------

      ----------

A chain run is when you choose to continue your adventure instead of going back
to town after finishing a dungeon. When you do, you get bonuses to score, gold,
and treasure rank and quality. The more you do, the more bonus you get though
it will stop increasing at some point.

What keeps you from doing this non-stop is that your gear will eventually
break and your limited use skills and items will run out. You can try to extend
this as much as you can by filling up multiple bags. You can switch bags when
you choose your path in the dungeon. You get your first bag from the
adventurers guild when you unlock path B and you can buy more bags from
Morgan's Magic Item Shop. You can buy 1 during normal and you can buy the
remaining 6 once you get to hard mode.

Each item can only be put into one bag. Skills on the other hand can be put
into multiple bags. When you use a skill on one bag, it won't use it up in the
other bags.

      ------

      ------

You can have AI allies or other players. You can manually add specific AI at
the Dragon's Haven Inn. If you have slots open, AI you have resurrected can
also join during your game. If you're online, other players can randomly join
your game. People in your friends list can also manually join your game.

A handy thing to do when leveling an alt is to first resurrect some high levels
with your main then put them in your alt's party.

      ------

      ------

When you're online, there is always a chance you will randomly join someone's
game. Even if you manually choose a dungeon through the stables, it can join
another's game in that dungeon. Same thing applies for LoC though you don't
have to option to join a random floor in LoC initially.

While online, people can randomly join your game if you have slots open.

While online, if you finish a dungeon alone and choose to continue your
adventure, you may be put into a random person's game. If you do, your life
points will reset to 2 and food buffs won't be applied. This can also happen
during LoC. You may end up joining a random floor if you're online. This can
happen even if you didn't finish all the stages in a floor. If you are put into
a floor deeper than where you're at, you won't get credit for the clear. If you
don't desire this, you would have to play offline.

      -------------

      -------------

Enemy levels are set by difficulty and path. Enemies scale with increased
health when there are additional party members even if it's AI.

      ----------

      ----------

Score = experience

Here are some ways score is affected
Prayers:
Adventurer's Boon 500 10% bonus score
Explorer's Boon 4000 25% bonus score
Trailblazer's Boon 10000 50% bonus score

Difficulty:
Normal: 10% score multiplier
Hard: 50% score multiplier
Inferno: 200% score multiplier

Chain Run Score Bonus: up to +200% score

Score Bonus from Food Minigame

Path B completion > Path B Escape ~ Path A > anything else in the stage > LoC

In other words, the best way to get experience would be to get the best prayer,
play the highest difficulty, and chain run speed through and successfully
complete as many Path B's as possible. LoC is not a good place for experience,
because it doesn't offer any kind of completion experience bonus.

      ----

      ----

Things that effect spoils:

Prayers
Athena's Blessing 7500 % to gain extra spoils from chests
Jula's Blessing 20000 better % of higher ranked loot
Vernas's Blessing 40000 better % of higher quality loot

Chain run bonus:
Increase rank and quality of spoils

Golden chests tend to have better ranked spoils than all others. Wooden, metal,
and red chests are somewhat equal. Chests found in optional rooms tend to have
better ranked spoils than chests found along the mandatory path.

Bosses give 2 usually highly ranked spoils.

So the best way to get good loot is to do get one of the loot boosting prayers,
speed run through a couple of dungeons to get the bonus up, then start going
into all the optional rooms. As you may have noticed, difficulty doesn't affect
the spoil. You will always get loot that is around your level so feel free to
do this in normal difficulty.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                              Class Guides[DCCLA]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here I'll give a description, go over each skills, give my personal build, and
give strategies for each class. For builds, 155 is the max amount of skill
points(SP) you can get. 99 for each class level and 56 from quests.

If you want to try different builds, you can use an amnesia elixir and not
save so it doesn't use it up. The game only autosaves after the loot page when
you come back from a dungeon, when you leave the Dragon's Haven Inn after
making a change, or after the credits when you beat the game. Just avoid those
and you can test out builds as much as you want. Or you can just make a backup
save on another slot.

--------------------------------------
        Common Skills[DCCCO]
--------------------------------------

   Slide Attack

Increases slide attack damage and knockback %. I never use slide on purpose so
I never invest into this skill.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total common skills): Power 30, Knockback + 30%
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total common skills): Power 34, Knockback + 40%
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total common skills): Power 40, Knockback + 55%
rank 4 (3 SP, 3 total common skills): Power 46, Knockback + 70%
rank 5 (4 SP, 6 total common skills): Power 60, Knockback +100%

   Wealth to Health

It's not a bad skill but unlike Nutritionist, it doesn't work once your health
is maxed and it can't be saved for later. It rather spend the points into more
Nutritionist or Vitality Boost.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total common skills): HP recovered per coin: 2
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total common skills): HP recovered per coin: 3
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total common skills): HP recovered per coin: 5
rank 4 (3 SP, 3 total common skills): HP recovered per coin: 7
rank 5 (4 SP, 6 total common skills): HP recovered per coin: 10

   Money is Power

It can be used to speed up leveling or to gain life points. I personally don't
think it's worth spending skill points on.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total common skills): + 10 per coin
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total common skills): + 20 per coin
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total common skills): + 40 per coin
rank 4 (3 SP, 3 total common skills): + 60 per coin
rank 5 (4 SP, 6 total common skills): +100 per coin

   Vitality Boost

It's a great skill to spend leftover points into. It's nice because not only
does it boost your HP, it boosts the amount food heals you since food heals you
by percentage. One thing to note is that rank 10 costs 6 SP for 30 HP and it
won't increase your max HP with food since it caps at 999. (500 HP at level 99
for any class + 200 = 700 x 150% = 1050 > 999)

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total common skills): Max HP + 20
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total common skills): Max HP + 35
rank 3 (1 SP, 3 total common skills): Max HP + 50
rank 4 (2 SP, 3 total common skills): Max HP + 65
rank 5 (2 SP, 6 total common skills): Max HP + 80
rank 6 (3 SP, 6 total common skills): Max HP +100
rank 7 (3 SP, 9 total common skills): Max HP +120
rank 8 (4 SP, 9 total common skills): Max HP +145
rank 9 (4 SP, 12 total common skills): Max HP +170
rank 10 (6 SP, 12 total common skills): Max HP +200

   Nutritionist

Another skill that nice to spend leftover points into. 1 rank into this is
especially nice since it give you a 20% boost in food's effectiveness just for
1 SP. Not a bad skill to max if you have leftover SP even after investing into
Vitality Boost.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total common skills): Recovery +20%
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total common skills): Recovery +25%
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total common skills): Recovery +30%
rank 4 (3 SP, 3 total common skills): Recovery +35%
rank 5 (4 SP, 6 total common skills): Recovery +50%

   Maintenance

It increases the uses with pick up weapons such as daggers and crossbows. A
very mediocre skill to spend points into unless you are using daggers as an
Elf.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total common skills): 20% chance of not depleting
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total common skills): 25% chance of not depleting
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total common skills): 30% chance of not depleting
rank 4 (3 SP, 3 total common skills): 35% chance of not depleting
rank 5 (4 SP, 6 total common skills): 50% chance of not depleting

   Adroit Hands

It decreases the cooldown when using items, spells, or swapping weapons. It's
a must have for certain classes and certain builds.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total common skills): -10% cooldown time
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total common skills): -15% cooldown time
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total common skills): -20% cooldown time
rank 4 (2 SP, 3 total common skills): -25% cooldown time
rank 5 (3 SP, 6 total common skills): -30% cooldown time
rank 6 (3 SP, 6 total common skills): -35% cooldown time
rank 7 (5 SP, 9 total common skills): -50% cooldown time

   Evasion

It increases the number of times you can evade at time. I find at least 2
points into here essential for most classes.

rank 1 (2 SP, 0 total common skills): Continuous evade +1
rank 2 (3 SP, 3 total common skills): Continuous evade +2
rank 3 (4 SP, 6 total common skills): Continuous evade +3

   Deep Pockets

It allows you to carry more items per bag. Classes like Wizard and Sorceress
will want to max these while it depends on the build for other classes. Note
that once you invest points into this, it won't be refunded even with amnesia
elixir.

rank 1 (2 SP, 0 total common skills): total bag slots = 8
rank 2 (4 SP, 3 total common skills): total bag slots = 9
rank 3 (6 SP, 6 total common skills): total bag slots = 10

--------------------------------------
           Amazon[DCCAM]
--------------------------------------

Amazon has the highest DPS in the game. Amazon is capable of blocking and
getting a short invulnerability buff from it with the appropriate skills. The
Amazon can stay up close by taking advantage of the invulnerability from a
skill called brandish. Amazon will speed up and do more damage with a natural
ability called berserk.

The main drawback with Amazon is that if she is not in berserk level 3, her
damage tends to be mediocre and it may be tough to get to or maintain it.

Summary:
+Highest DPS
+Lots of invulnerability skills
+Good air damage and mobility
+Super fast at berserk level 3
-Meh DPS when not berserk level 3
-Can be difficult to get to and maintain berserk level 3

      --------------

      --------------

   Parry

The Amazon is capable of blocking attacks by holding the square button. It
works just like the Fighter's block but it can't block magic and it doesn't
have as many skills that affect it. It can block many attacks and when
successful, the Amazon will take no damage. If you invest into the Parry skill,
you'll also get a short invulnerability buff if you time it right before the
enemy's attack.

This is a great skill to master even without the Parry skill. It allows you to
stay in position and continue your ground combo. Also, it allows to to quickly
redo a ground combo instead of going into Brandish if Brandish isn't needed.
While brandish will do amazing damage if War Paint is activated, it will
actually do less damage than the ground combo without it. So without War Paint,
you'll actually do higher DPS if you do a ground combo and cancel it with a
parry to redo the ground combo faster instead of going into Brandish. This is
only the case if invulnerability from Brandish is not needed.

Careful not to block too often. While you won't take any damage, you will end
up dropping your weapon. Also, parrying reduces the weapon's durability quite a
bit so if you parry too often, you'll find yourself with a broken weapon really
quick.

   Berserk

There are 3 levels of berserk. The Amazon's speed will increase
with each level. In order to increase the level of berserk, the Amazon needs
to hit something a certain amount of time. The first level is just a few hits
and the number of hits required goes up quite a bit with higher levels of
berserk.

You can lose all berserk if you don't attack anything for about 5 seconds, if
you get knocked down, or if you get stunned in some way. You won't lost berserk
if you just get hurt or if you recover from a potential knock down before you
hit the ground by evading.

   Power Smash

By pressing O, the Amazon will do a power smash. It will do a lot of damage and
the Amazon is invulnerable while doing it. It's not as powerful as the Dwarf's
power smash and the Amazon have other ways to deal a lot of damage and become
invulnerable.

      ------

      ------

   Stun Wave (Air Skill)

Adds a shockwave to Amazon's air down slam. It's Amazon's only ranged attack.
Some people like to max this but I find the damage to be too mediocre. At max,
it did slightly less damage than one swing from pressing square while on the
ground.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total air skills): Power 20, Shockwave
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total air skills): Power 24, Shockwave Distance 110%
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total air skills): Power 28, Shockwave Distance 120%
rank 4 (2 SP, 3 total air skills): Power 32, Shockwave Distance 130%
rank 5 (3 SP, 6 total air skills): Power 36, Shockwave Distance 140%
rank 6 (3 SP, 6 total air skills): Power 40, Shockwave Distance 150%
rank 7 (5 SP, 9 total air skills): Power 60, Shockwave Distance 190%

   Neck Splitter (Air Skill)

When you press down square after a double jump, the Amazon will do a downward
slam. This skill will strengthen that move. Also, if the enemy is down, it will
do extra damage(neck splitter, get it?). The drawback is that there is a
downtime during the move that you can't even evade cancel. Also, the damage
isn't that great even when maxed out if the enemy is not down and it
gets harder and harder to knock them down as you progress in the game and most
bosses are immune. You can however put 1 SP into this and 2 into Stun Wave so
you have enough skills in air skills so you can max out Deadly Revolution.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total air skills): Power 150, Downed Enemy Damage +100%
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total air skills): Power 155, Downed Enemy Damage +105%
rank 3 (1 SP, 3 total air skills): Power 162, Downed Enemy Damage +110%
rank 4 (2 SP, 3 total air skills): Power 169, Downed Enemy Damage +115%
rank 5 (2 SP, 6 total air skills): Power 176, Downed Enemy Damage +120%
rank 6 (3 SP, 6 total air skills): Power 182, Downed Enemy Damage +130%
rank 7 (3 SP, 9 total air skills): Power 189, Downed Enemy Damage +140%
rank 8 (4 SP, 9 total air skills): Power 196, Downed Enemy Damage +155%
rank 9 (4 SP, 12 total air skills): Power 203, Downed Enemy Damage +170%
rank 10 (6 SP, 12 total air skills): Power 230, Downed Enemy Damage +200%

   Deadly Revolution (Air Skill)

This skill increases the air spinning move damage and increases the number of
times you can switch directions. It will also boost the damage if it's an enemy
in the air. This is a great move for damaging enemies in the air. The ability
to switch direction while doing this move will allow you to stay in the air
longer, stay on the enemy to do more damage, and it can be used to dodge things
in the air. Highly recommended for all Amazons to max.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total air skills): Pow 18, Direction 2, Air Enemy Damage + 30%
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total air skills): Pow 20, Direction 2, Air Enemy Damage + 35%
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total air skills): Pow 22, Direction 2, Air Enemy Damage + 45%
rank 4 (2 SP, 3 total air skills): Pow 24, Direction 3, Air Enemy Damage + 55%
rank 5 (3 SP, 6 total air skills): Pow 26, Direction 3, Air Enemy Damage + 70%
rank 6 (3 SP, 6 total air skills): Pow 28, Direction 3, Air Enemy Damage + 85%
rank 7 (5 SP, 9 total air skills): Pow 30, Direction 4, Air Enemy Damage +100%

   Brutal Drive (Ground Skill)

This skill powers up the Amazon's power smash and increases the distance the
shockwave travels. This isn't a bad move, but it doesn't reach air and it's
overshadowed by Amazon's high ground combo damage.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total ground skills): Pow 440, Shockwave Pow/Range 165/100%
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total ground skills): Pow 480, Shockwave Pow/Range 180/105%
rank 3 (1 SP, 3 total ground skills): Pow 520, Shockwave Pow/Range 195/110%
rank 4 (2 SP, 3 total ground skills): Pow 560, Shockwave Pow/Range 210/115%
rank 5 (2 SP, 6 total ground skills): Pow 600, Shockwave Pow/Range 225/120%
rank 6 (3 SP, 6 total ground skills): Pow 640, Shockwave Pow/Range 240/125%
rank 7 (3 SP, 9 total ground skills): Pow 680, Shockwave Pow/Range 255/130%
rank 8 (4 SP, 9 total ground skills): Pow 720, Shockwave Pow/Range 270/135%
rank 9 (4 SP, 12 total ground skills): Pow 760, Shockwave Pow/Range 285/140%
rank 10 (6 SP, 12 total ground skills): Pow 880, Shockwave Pow/Range 375/190%

   Parry (Ground Skill)

This skill adds an invulnerability buff to a successful block that was
activated right before the attack. It will also damage and stun nearby enemies.
The damage is pretty pathetic even when maxed but the stun is nice. The idea of
this skill is to use the invulnerability time and stun time to increase berserk
level and to get into Brandish if you can. This isn't really necessary though
it nice deep in LoC. I would put at least 1 point just for the 2 seconds
invinciblity and stun chance.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total ground skills): Power 100, Invincibility Time 2.0s

   Punisher (Ground Skill)

This skill will add an extra hit to the ground combo making it do more damage
and easier to increase the level of berserk. Since both ground combo and
berserk crucial to Amazon, this skill should be maxed ASAP.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total ground skills): Power 20
rank 2 (2 SP, 0 total ground skills): Power 40
rank 3 (3 SP, 3 total ground skills): Power 60

   Brandish (Ground Skill)

Amazon will twirl her weapon and be invincible while doing it. This skill is
crucial if the Amazon wants to survive up close and be able to maintain
berserk. Do note that this skill doesn't really shine until the higher ranks.
This skill should be maxed.

rank 1 (3 SP, 0 total ground skills): Power 100, # of Spins 1
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total ground skills): Power 110, # of Spins 2
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total ground skills): Power 120, # of Spins 3
rank 4 (3 SP, 3 total ground skills): Power 130, # of Spins 4
rank 5 (5 SP, 6 total ground skills): Power 150, # of Spins 5

   Berserk (Supplemental Skill)

This increases the Amazon's damage output when she is in any level of berserk.
Considering how easy it is to get to berserk level 1, this skill can be looked
as a straight increase to damage dealt. This should be maxed out no matter
what.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): Dmg Dealt in Berserk +10%
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): Dmg Dealt in Berserk +15%
rank 3 (1 SP, 3 total supplemental skills): Dmg Dealt in Berserk +20%
rank 4 (2 SP, 3 total supplemental skills): Dmg Dealt in Berserk +25%
rank 5 (2 SP, 6 total supplemental skills): Dmg Dealt in Berserk +30%

rank 7 (3 SP, 9 total supplemental skills): Dmg Dealt in Berserk +40%
rank 8 (4 SP, 9 total supplemental skills): Dmg Dealt in Berserk +45%
rank 9 (4 SP, 12 total supplemental skills): Dmg Dealt in Berserk +50%
rank 10 (6 SP, 12 total supplemental skills): Dmg Dealt in Berserk +60%

   Adrenaline (Supplemental Skill)

This skill will increase the damage dealt of the Amazon more and more as her
health drops. Note that I said more and more. It does activate even when her
health is not at critical but only partially. While it's true that you should
try to keep health high, there should still be plenty of times where this will
kick in and help you out. It combos well with Incite Rage. Highly recommended
to get even if you don't get Incite Rage.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): Damage Dealt Up to + 30%
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): Damage Dealt Up to + 40%
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total supplemental skills): Damage Dealt Up to + 50%
rank 4 (2 SP, 3 total supplemental skills): Damage Dealt Up to + 60%

rank 6 (3 SP, 6 total supplemental skills): Damage Dealt Up to + 80%
rank 7 (4 SP, 9 total supplemental skills): Damage Dealt Up to +100%

   War Paint (Supplemental Skill)

This skill will make copies of the Amazon that will do everything the Amazon
does. This skill will melt bosses. It only costs 9 SP to get this amazing skill
that will almost cut the time it takes to kill bosses in half. This is a MUST
max.

rank 1 (2 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): Uses 3, Copies 1, Duration 10s
rank 2 (3 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): Uses 3, Copies 1, Duration 15s
rank 3 (4 SP, 3 total supplemental skills): Uses 3, Copies 2, Duration 20s

   Incite Rage (Supplemental Skill)

This skill will increase your berserk level instantly at the cost of health.
You might be wondering why you'd want to sacrifice health to increase
berserk when you can use that health to increase berserk manually and do
damage. Sometimes it can get annoying to get to berserk level 3 manually and it
does take time to get there.

This skill will save you time and hastle of getting to berserk level 3. Also,
it's easier to get to the invincible brandish part of the rotation. This skill
will take advantage of adrenaline. Finally, you'll kill bosses significantly
faster. And after you kill the boss, you get back to full health anyways and
it's not that hard to kill the boss before you die (assuming you have this, War
Paint, Brandish, Punisher, Adroit Hands, and Adrenaline). This also works deep
into LoC.

If you're really concerned about the health loss and don't plan on getting
Adrenaline, you can just get rank 1 or 2 to help you get to berserk level 3
with less health loss. Obviously you'd manually get to berserk level 1 or 2
before using the skill since getting to level 3 takes the longest.

Anyways, I highly recommend at least trying this skill along with War Paint,
Brandish, Punisher, Adroit Hands, and Adrenaline. Use this skill about 3
seconds before the boss starts, do one combo on the boss, activate War Paint,
then watch how fast the boss melts.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): Uses 3, HP loss 30%, berserk lvl +1
rank 2 (2 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): Uses 3, HP loss 50%, berserk lvl +2
rank 3 (3 SP, 3 total supplemental skills): Uses 3, HP loss 70%, berserk lvl +3

   Iron Will (Supplemental Skill)

This skill will prevent knockback and reduce all damage taken to 10 but
constantly drain 5% of your health every second. This skill will generally not
see use until deep into LoC where regular monsters start hitting like trucks.

You can also use Stalwart Spirits instead if you want to prevent knockback. If
you do use this skill, then you may want to also carry some form of healing
potion. You can also not max this out so you don't lose too much health from
it.

      --------

      --------

As an Amazon, it is crucial to take advantage of invulnerability from brandish.
Brandish is key in order to stay alive, keep doing damage, and maintain
berserk. Remember to evade if you have to while out of brandish.

When approaching regular enemies, try to brandish into them. Once you get to at
least berserk level 2, you can start using the regular ground combo on them
cautiously. Evade and Deadly Revolution if necessary to dodge and continue
damage on the enemies.

I use Iron Will along with some form of a healing potion for the tougher
enemies in LoC. Another option if possible would be to block with some points
into the parry skill for the invulnerability so you can get into brandish and
raise berserk.

For bosses, assuming you are using my personal build, be sure your health is
not above your maximum health by food. This is so that when you use incite
rage, your health will be critical and adrenaline will kick in along with gear
that have more damage dealt when low HP. Then start off with an incite rage
about 3 seconds ahead of time. Then after one ground combo, war paint should be
useable. Use war paint and go to town. Be sure to be in a safe spot after
brandish or evade and use deadly revolution to dodge and continue damage if
necessary. You can use stalwart potion to prevent knockdown so you can maintain
berserk level 3 if you want.

---------------------------------------
            Dwarf[DCCDW]
---------------------------------------

Dwarf is the most resilient class in the game. With invulnerability from grand
smash and damage reduction from pump up, they can really take a beating. Their
damage output is decent. Only drawback is trying to find something meaningful
to do in between grand smashes. I will go into more detail in the strategies
section.

Summary:
+Most resilient class
+Grand smash good damage and invulnerability
+Can throw enemies and objects
+Can pump up to take less damage
+Can create bombs
+Low chance of knockdowns
-Finding something meaningful to do in between grand smashes

      --------------

      --------------

   Grab/Throw

By pressing up and squaure, the Dwarf can grab barrels and enemies and throw
them at other enemies. They can walk around and jump while carrying them for a
few seconds before dropping them because of fatigue. They can grab enemies and
throw them off cliffs.

   Pump Up

By holding the square button, the Dwarf will pump up which reduces the damage
the dwarf takes. The buff lasts about 30 seconds before it has to be
refreshed.

   Power Smash

By pressing O, the Dwarf will do a power smash. They will do a lot of damage
especially if they get the skill Grand Smash. They are also invulnerable while
doing the power smash. This is the Dwarf's main damage dealing move. The main
drawback is that they lose their weapon for a few seconds.

      ------

      ------

   Power Bomb (Attack Skill)

This skill adds a shockwave and increases the damage of throws. It's nice at
first but its damage becomes mediocre later on. I personally put 1 point into
is just for the shockwave.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): + 20% damage, Shockwave range 100%
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): + 30% damage, Shockwave range 105%
rank 3 (1 SP, 3 total attack skills): + 40% damage, Shockwave range 110%
rank 4 (2 SP, 3 total attack skills): + 50% damage, Shockwave range 115%
rank 5 (2 SP, 6 total attack skills): + 60% damage, Shockwave range 120%
rank 6 (3 SP, 6 total attack skills): + 75% damage, Shockwave range 125%
rank 7 (3 SP, 9 total attack skills): + 90% damage, Shockwave range 130%
rank 8 (4 SP, 9 total attack skills): +105% damage, Shockwave range 135%
rank 9 (4 SP, 12 total attack skills): +120% damage, Shockwave range 140%
rank 10 (5 SP, 12 total attack skills): +150% damage, Shockwave range 180%

   Lethal Fists (Attack Skill)

Increases damage of unarmed attacks. It comes in handy as a filler if you use
grand smash. Max this if you want to go the lethal fist + frenzy + magma
infusion + powder mastery route as a filler after grand smashes.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): + 20% unarmed damage
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): + 40% unarmed damage
rank 3 (1 SP, 3 total attack skills): + 60% unarmed damage
rank 4 (2 SP, 3 total attack skills): + 80% unarmed damage
rank 5 (2 SP, 6 total attack skills): +100% unarmed damage
rank 6 (3 SP, 6 total attack skills): +120% unarmed damage
rank 7 (3 SP, 9 total attack skills): +140% unarmed damage
rank 8 (4 SP, 9 total attack skills): +160% unarmed damage
rank 9 (4 SP, 12 total attack skills): +180% unarmed damage
rank 10 (5 SP, 12 total attack skills): +250% unarmed damage

   Eagle Dive (Attack Skill)

You do a big dive and start to drop bombs at higher ranks. It can do decent
damage if you can get all the bombs to hit. It's also a nice filler if you have
the double grand smash build. Powder mastery will boost the damage.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): Dive with 0 bombs
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): Dive with 3 bombs
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total attack skills): Dive with 4 bombs, bomb power 70
rank 4 (3 SP, 3 total attack skills): Dive with 5 bombs, bomb power 80
rank 5 (5 SP, 6 total attack skills): Dive with 6 bombs, bomb power 90

   Grand Smash (Attack Skill)

The dwarf's main move. It deals a lot of damage to both ground and air and in
a good amount of area. This should be maxed out for most dwarf players.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): Power 120, Lightning Power 36
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): Power 130, Lightning Power 39
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total attack skills): Power 140, Lightning Power 42
rank 4 (3 SP, 3 total attack skills): Power 155, Lightning Power 47
rank 5 (5 SP, 6 total attack skills): Power 180, Lightning Power 55

   Frenzy (Attack Skill)

Dwarf will do a bunch of fast strikes and end with an uppercut. This does
decent damage especially when combined with magma infusion. Max this if you're
going for lethal fist + frenzy + magma infusion + powder mastery.

rank 1 (3 SP, 0 total attack skills): Power 30, Duration 1.5s
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): Power 36, Duration 2.0s
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total attack skills): Power 42, Duration 2.5s
rank 4 (3 SP, 3 total attack skills): Power 48, Duration 3.0s
rank 5 (5 SP, 6 total attack skills): Power 60, Duration 4.0s

   Bomb Satchel (Tools Skill)

Allows you to create bombs. It won't do as much damage as bombs you find in
dungeons but it's still a good amount. This is a good option if you plan to
max powder mastery.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total tools skill): Number of uses 4
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total tools skill): Number of uses 6
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total tools skill): Number of uses 8
rank 4 (3 SP, 3 total tools skill): Number of uses 10
rank 5 (5 SP, 6 total tools skill): Number of uses 15

   Fire Barrel (Tools Skill)

Creates a fire barrel in front of the Dwarf. It can then be grabbed and thrown.
It's a bit inconvenient compared to bombs, because you have to manually grab it
and when you do, you only have a couple of seconds before it's dropped because
of fatigue. It's nice for setting up by bosses ahead of time. Damage is boosted
by Powder Mastery.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total tools skill): Number of uses 3
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total tools skill): Number of uses 4
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total tools skill): Number of uses 5
rank 4 (3 SP, 3 total tools skill): Number of uses 6
rank 5 (5 SP, 6 total tools skill): Number of uses 9

   Magma Infusion (Tools Skill)

Adds fire damage to your attacks. The amount of damage is constant so more
frequent attacks will make this shine which is why it combos well with frenzy.
Max this if you plan to lethal fist + frenzy + magma infusion + powder mastery
during downtimes of grand smashes. In case you're wondering how you would use
this during grand smash downtime when there is a cooldown in effect, you would
use this before grand smashing since it lasts awhile.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total tools skills): Number of uses 3, Duration 15s
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total tools skills): Number of uses 4, Duration 18s
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total tools skills): Number of uses 5, Duration 21s
rank 4 (3 SP, 3 total tools skills): Number of uses 6, Duration 25s
rank 5 (5 SP, 6 total tools skills): Number of uses 12, Duration 35s

   Powder Mastery (Tools Skill)

This skill increases the damage done by skills eagle dive bombs, bomb satchel,
fire barrel, and magma infusion. If you plan on using any of those skills
often, you should max this skill.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total Tools Skill): + 20% damage of fire skills
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total Tools Skill): + 25% damage of fire skills
rank 3 (1 SP, 3 total Tools Skill): + 30% damage of fire skills
rank 4 (2 SP, 3 total Tools Skill): + 35% damage of fire skills
rank 5 (2 SP, 6 total Tools Skill): + 40% damage of fire skills
rank 6 (3 SP, 6 total Tools Skill): + 50% damage of fire skills
rank 7 (3 SP, 9 total Tools Skill): + 60% damage of fire skills
rank 8 (4 SP, 9 total Tools Skill): + 70% damage of fire skills
rank 9 (4 SP, 12 total Tools Skill): + 80% damage of fire skills
rank 10 (5 SP, 12 total Tools Skill): +100% damage of fire skills

   Trinket Maniac (Supplemental Skill)

Recovers HP whenever a score item is picked up. Unlike Nutritionist, this skill
won't heal HP above max and can't be carried for later use. Unless Vitality
Boost and Nutritionist is maxed and you still have leftover points, I would
skip this.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): 2 HP recovered per score item
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): 3 HP recovered per score item
rank 3 (1 SP, 3 total supplemental skills): 4 HP recovered per score item
rank 4 (2 SP, 3 total supplemental skills): 5 HP recovered per score item
rank 5 (2 SP, 6 total supplemental skills): 6 HP recovered per score item
rank 6 (2 SP, 6 total supplemental skills): 7 HP recovered per score item
rank 7 (3 SP, 9 total supplemental skills): 8 HP recovered per score item
rank 8 (3 SP, 9 total supplemental skills): 9 HP recovered per score item
rank 9 (4 SP, 12 total supplemental skills): 10 HP recovered per score item
rank 10 (5 SP, 12 total supplemental skills): 15 HP recovered per score item

   Rock Skin (Supplemental Skill)

Reduces damage taken while pumped up. While technically not a must skill, this
is what makes Dwarf resilient and I highly recommend that this skill is maxed
out if you want to make things easier for you.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): -20% damage taken while pumped-up
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): -25% damage taken while pumped-up
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total supplemental skills): -30% damage taken while pumped-up
rank 4 (3 SP, 3 total supplemental skills): -35% damage taken while pumped-up
rank 5 (5 SP, 6 total supplemental skills): -50% damage taken while pumped-up

   Toughness (Supplemental Skill)

Any damage lower than a certain amount won't knock you back. If you played
other classes, you should have experienced annoying knockback when getting hit
from enemies. Not only is it annoying but it stops you from attacking and
sometimes makes you drop your weapon. With this skill, you can kiss most of
those situations goodbye. Highly recommended to max out.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): Resistant to hits < 30 damage
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): Resistant to hits < 45 damage
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total supplemental skills): Resistant to hits < 60 damage
rank 4 (3 SP, 3 total supplemental skills): Resistant to hits < 80 damage
rank 5 (5 SP, 6 total supplemental skills): Resistant to hits <120 damage

Power Bomb rank 1 ( 1 SP) (Just to increase the area of effect of throws)
Eagle Dive rank 5 (12 SP)
Grand Smash rank 5 (12 SP)
Bomb Satchel rank 5 (12 SP)
Fire Barrel rank 2 ( 2 SP)

Vitality Boost rank 8 (17 SP)
Nutritionist rank 5 (11 SP)
Adroit Hands rank 7 (17 SP)
Evasion rank 3 ( 9 SP)
Deep Pockets rank 3 (12 SP)

      --------

      --------

The main strategy is to use grand smash twice. In order to do that, you need to
max out grand smash and adroit hands and carry two weapons in your bag. The
rotation is use grand smash with O, swap to your other weapon, use another
grand smash, then do a filler which I will go over, pick your weapon back up
then repeat.

What's so great about this is that it does great amount of damage, it covers
both ground and air, it covers a good amount of area, and you are invulnerable
while doing it.

The most ideal thing to do is to time the grand smash to the enemy's attacks.
If you do, you will be very unlikely to die.

During the downtime of grand smash, you can either dodge around, refresh pump
up, attack with fists, use eagle dive, or throw things around. What you do is
up to you and the situation.

-----------------------------------------
              Elf[DCCEL]
-----------------------------------------

Elf has one of the highest burst damage in the game. Elf has a really good
evade motion. She also has the option to create daggers and do devastating
backstabs if she wishes. The main drawback with Elf is that she becomes
mediocre when she runs out of arrows and she has to attack in some way to get
more arrows.

Summary:
+High burst damage
+Ranged
+Create daggers and high backstab damage
+Good evade
-Meh damage when out of arrows
-Must attack in order to get more arrows
-Attacking air can be tricky

      --------------

      --------------

   Charged Shot

Elf has the natural ability to charge her shots. Charged shots
will do more damage and will pierce. It is highly recommended to charge most of
her shots in order to get the most out of her arrows.

   Dash Shot

Hold square while pressing left or right then letting go of square
will activate the dash shot. She will fire a quick piercing shot in the
opposite direction. If she has points invested into the skill clone shots, she
will fire that many shots at once.

   Arrows

Elf can run out of arrows. In order to get more arrows, she or her
allies needs to attack enemies and they will drop arrows.

      ------

      ------

Power Shot (Bow and Arrow Skill)

This skill will increase the damage of charged shot and add a shockwave to it.
This skill should be maxed out since charged shot is a crucial move that is
used all the time.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total B&A skills): Power 210, Shockwave
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total B&A skills): Power 220, Shockwave Range 105%
rank 3 (1 SP, 3 total B&A skills): Power 230, Shockwave Range 110%
rank 4 (2 SP, 3 total B&A skills): Power 240, Shockwave Range 115%
rank 5 (2 SP, 6 total B&A skills): Power 250, Shockwave Range 120%
rank 6 (3 SP, 6 total B&A skills): Power 260, Shockwave Range 125%
rank 7 (3 SP, 9 total B&A skills): Power 270, Shockwave Range 130%
rank 8 (4 SP, 9 total B&A skills): Power 280, Shockwave Range 135%
rank 9 (4 SP, 12 total B&A skills): Power 290, Shockwave Range 140%
rank 10 (6 SP, 12 total B&A skills): Power 320, Shockwave Range 170%

Rapid Fire (Bow and Arrow Skill)

This skill will allow you to fire arrow in rapid succession. It comes in handy
when trying to finish something off fast or to rapidly apply the Salamander Oil
or Toxic Extract. Rank 1 is a must though higher ranks is up to you.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total B&A skills): Volley +1
rank 2 (2 SP, 0 total B&A skills): Volley +2
rank 3 (3 SP, 3 total B&A skills): Volley +3
rank 4 (5 SP, 3 total B&A skills): Volley +4

Spacious Quiver (Bow and Arrow Skill)

Increases your arrow capacity. Since firing arrows is how we do most of our
DPS, this skill should be maxed ASAP.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total B&A skills): Arrow Max + 2
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total B&A skills): Arrow Max + 4
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total B&A skills): Arrow Max + 7
rank 4 (3 SP, 3 total B&A skills): Arrow Max +10
rank 5 (5 SP, 6 total B&A skills): Arrow Max +15

Impact Arrow (Bow and Arrow Skill)

This skill will add a shockwave to a arrow that lands on the ground. At max
level, the amount of damage the shockwave does will be comparable to Salamander
Oil. If you don't want to rely on Salamander all the time to be able to do good
damage, max this skill out.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total B&A skills): Power 50, Shockwave Range 105%
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total B&A skills): Power 65, Shockwave Range 110%
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total B&A skills): Power 80, Shockwave Range 115%
rank 4 (2 SP, 3 total B&A skills): Power 95, Shockwave Range 120%
rank 5 (3 SP, 6 total B&A skills): Power 110, Shockwave Range 125%
rank 6 (3 SP, 6 total B&A skills): Power 125, Shockwave Range 130%
rank 7 (5 SP, 9 total B&A skills): Power 175, Shockwave Range 150%

Clone Strikes (Bow and Arrow Skill)

This skill will have the crouched charged shot and dash shot fire several
arrows at the same time. This is a great skill for the crouched charged shot
since all the arrows will be charged and they will all land for an Impact
Arrow, Salamander Oil, or Toxic Extract effect. This is a must up to rank 2.
Higher ranks can be a waste of arrows or a DPS increase depending on the enemy
so it's up to you if you want to increase it more or not.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total B&A skills): Multishot +1
rank 2 (2 SP, 0 total B&A skills): Multishot +2
rank 3 (3 SP, 3 total B&A skills): Multishot +3
rank 4 (5 SP, 3 total B&A skills): Multishot +4

   Toxic Extract (Tools Skill)

This skill will add a chance to poison to arrows and dagger and will leave a
poisonous cloud if the arrow lands on the ground. This should be used for the
poisonous cloud effect by having the arrow land on the ground. Do not do an air
non-charged shot since that arrow won't pierce the enemy which means there is a
chance that it won't reach the ground. While it doesn't do as much damage as
Salamander Oil, this can still come in handy if you run out of Salamander Oil
or against fire resistant enemies. It's up to you if you want to invest any
points into this.

   Holdout Dagger (Tools Skill)

Creates a dagger in the Elf's hands. This is a must if you want to get
Backstab. This with Backstab is a great alternative if you run out of arrows.

   Salamander Oil (Tools Skill)

Adds a chance to burn enemies to arrows and dagger and leaves a blaze if the
arrow lands on the ground. This should be used for the blaze on the ground
effect. Do not do an air non-charged shot since that arrow won't pierce enemies
which means the arrow may not reach the ground. This does a lot of damage and
should be maxed out.

   Elemental Lore (Supplemental SKill)

When square is held, Elf will cast a spell that changes depending on the
closest element. Default is a small storm that goes a short distance and does
okay damage. It can be used as many times as you want. This is a great skill to
use if you run out of arrows. Max this if you don't plan on using daggers to
Backstab. Otherwise, you can just put 1 SP into this just to be able to use it.

   Deadly Boots (Supplemental Skill)

Increases the damage of kicks based on the boots' DEF. Even with this maxed
out, kick damage will be low. I don't recommend getting this skill unless you
have absolutely no other skill you want to spend SP on (Vitality Boost?
Nutritionist?)

   Backstab (Supplemental Skill)

Increases the damage of dagger if attacking the enemy from behind. At max,
dagger backstabs can do an amazing amount of damage. This with Holdout Daggers
is a good alternative when you're out of arrows.

recommend at least 1 SP into this for the knockback resistance but higher

      --------

      --------

Against regular enemies, I mostly use air charged shots aimed down. This takes
advantage of the skills power shot and impact, doesn't activate clone shots so
you conserve arrows, and keeps you away from most of the harm. As long as I'm
doing this, I rarely run out of arrows and I still dish out a lot of damage.
You can also stay in the air longer by evading or kicking to do another charged
shot and do this up to 5 times.

Against bosses, the main move to use crouched charged shot. If the boss is on
the ground, you don't have to use the salamander oil as impact itself does
comparable damage. If you boss is even slightly in the air, impact won't affect
the boss so you should use salamander oil.

Against Killer Rabbit, I recommend using salamander oil and crouched rapid
shot. The target is so small that clone shots would be a waste.

----------------------------------------
             Fighter[DCCFI]
----------------------------------------

Fighter is the hardest and most vulnerable class in the game. He lacks the
invulnerability frames in his main attack rotations that other close range
classes have. He relies on blocking to do big damage which means you have to
know all the enemies well in order to bring out most of fighter's potential.
Tempest edge, his main damage dealer, leaves him a bit vulnerable which is
another reason why fighter has to know all the enemies well.

If you do master the block into tempest edging when safe, fighter becomes quite
good and rewarding. Also, I recommend carrying another weapon you can switch to
since Fighter is quite prone to dropping his weapon.

Summary:
+Can block and get buffs from it
+50% chance to autoblock and get buffed
+Good air time and damage
+Can taunt enemies
+Can take damage party takes at a reduced amount
-Most vulnerable class in the game
-Hardest class to play properly
-Must block for big damage
-Risky main damage dealing skill(tempest edge)

      --------------

      --------------

   Block

A crucial skill to master as a fighter. There are many skills that activate
from a block including a damage buff. If you block successfully, you'll also
take no damage. If you block too often, you won't take any damage but you'll
drop your shield. Note that you can still block with your weapon though it
can't block magic, you won't get any block buffs, it reduces the weapon's
durability quite a bit, and you can drop your weapon as well if you block with
that too often.

   Power Smash

Fighter will slam his weapon to the ground. He is invulnerable while doing
this. It does a minor ground shockwave damage around him. If the enemy is
clipping the fighter while he does this, the enemy will take a lot of damage.

      ------

      ------

   Cyclone Masher (Attack Skill)

This skill will increase the damage and range of Fighter's air cyclone and
reduce his speed of descent in the air. Since it's Fighter's main way of
dealing damage in the air, I recommend that this skill be maxed out.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): Power 20, Descent Speed -30%, Range 100%
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): Power 22, Descent Speed -45%, Range 105%

rank 5 (5 SP, 6 total attack skills): Power 30, Descent Speed -90%, Range 125%

   Shockwave (Attack Skill)

Adds ground shockwaves to Fighter's up square attack. The shockwaves only
travel a very short distance and will do low damage even when this is maxed
out. I don't recommend this skill at all.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): Power 15, # of Shockwaves 2
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): Power 18, # of Shockwaves 2

rank 5 (5 SP, 6 total attack skills): Power 45, # of Shockwaves 4

   Judgement (Attack Skill)

Adds a shockwave to Fighter's air downward smash. The damage is not that great
even when this is maxed so I don't recommend this skill.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): Power 40, Shockwave Range 100%

   Rebuke (Attack Skill)

This skill will improve the damage of the power slam. The damage power slam
does when this skill is maxed is quite high. Though its use is somewhat limited
due to its short range, the invulnerability and high damage makes this skill
somewhat attractive. Just carry another weapon that you can switch to it and
continue to deal damage. You can also get Adroit Hands skill to be able to
Rebuke more often.

   Tempest Edge (Attack Skill)

Adds a whirlwind and stab to Fighter's ground combo. This is the Fighter's main
damage dealing move on the ground and should be maxed. The drawback is that the
Fighter can't block during the whirlwind and can't block or dodge during the
stab. Be cautious when using this skill.

   Cover Allies (Defense Skill)

This skill will protect allies behind you when you block and increase your
damage for a few seconds. While it's kind of tough to consistently protect your
allies, this skill is crucial because of the damage buff. With this, your basic
rotation would be to block then Rebuke or Tempest Edge when safe in order to
deal the most damage possible. Max this skill.

   Reflex Guard (Defense Skill)

This skill will give you a chance to automatically block. When it activates, it
will also activate all skills that are activated by a block such as Cover
Allies, Bash, and Missile Reflect. It can also activate during Tempest Edge.
It's a very nice safety net and it should be maxed.

   Bash (Defense Skill)

This skill will activate when you block something then let square go. It will
do some minor damage and potentially stun the enemy. You are also invincible
while doing this. While not a must skill, it's not a bad skill to invest in.

   Missile Reflect (Defense Skill)

This skill will sometimes reflect projectiles back at the enemy. The effect is
pretty straightforward. I personally don't think it's worth investing too much
into but if you have leftover points and have nowhere else to put them and you
block projectiles often, then why not.

   Distraction (Supplemental Skill)

This will cause enemies, including bosses, to focus their attention on you. It
will also give you a damage buff. This should be maxed just for the damage
buff.

   Sacrifice (Supplemental Skill)

This will make you take the damage your party members would have taken and
reduces all damage taken by a certain amount. This is a risky skill to take if
you have a party. If you solo, then it will be a nice damage reduction skill.
Max this if you mainly solo or have a competent party that won't get you killed
when you use this.

you find yourself dropping your shield often, invest into this skill.

      --------

      --------

The main rotation is to block for the damage buff then tempest edge when safe.
Still, there are many things to consider with this simple rotation.

You need to know all the enemies and their moves well in order to block. You
have to know when evade is preferred.

For tempest edge, you can't block during the whirlwind phase and you can't
block or evade during the stab. This means you have to be cautious when using
it.

Realize that there are some fights where blocking often is not practical and
you should just evade and attack without worrying about blocking.

Rebuke is a nice skill to use after a damage buff. You can time it with an
enemies attack to take advantage of the invinciblity while using it. I
recommend carrying another weapon to switch to after using rebuke if you
aren't already.

Fighter is really simple yet hard and it's about practice and experience.

----------------------------------------
            Sorceress[DCCSO]
----------------------------------------

A super support class. She has good crowd control spells, she can create food,
cast protection on the party, and curse enemies to make them easier to kill.
She can also bring bodies back to life as skeleton allies.

Main drawbacks are relatively low damage and reliance on mana. In order to use
her rod to attack or to evade, she needs to use mana. she can only get more
mana manually, by attacking enemies with square, or by getting killing blows
on enemies after getting the Mental Absorb skill.

During the downtime while she is manually charging her mana, damage output is
almost non-existent which can be a pain.

Summary:
+Good crowd control spells
+Create food spell

-Relatively low damage
-Reliance on mana

square, or kill enemies while having the appropriate skill.

   Rock Press (Attack SKill)

Drops a huge rock in front of the Sorceress. It will deal good damage and stun
enemies that are crushed and also do minor damage and stun other enemies on the
ground. This skill should be maxed out.

   Blizzard (Attack Skill)

Creates a blizzard that covers the whole screen and damages and freezes
enemies. This is a very useful skill to use during boss fights with adds. This
should be maxed out.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): Uses 3, Power 35, Duration 4s
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): Uses 3, Power 40, Duration 5s

   Animate Skeleton (Special Skill)

This will revive player bones into skeletons that fight for you and they are
actually competent. Not a bad skill to get. Note that the whole party can only
have a total of 4 skeletons.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total special skills): Skeleton's Lvl 50% of Player's, Max 1
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total special skills): Skeleton's Lvl 60% of Player's, Max 2

   Levitation (Special Skill)

This skill allows the Sorceress to glide in the air. More importantly, it will
increase the damage of magic casted while in the air. This skill should be
maxed.

rank 2 (3 SP, 0 total special skills): Magic Damage +35% While in Air
rank 3 (5 SP, 3 total special skills): Magic Damage +50% While in Air

   Create Food (Special Skill)

This skill will create food around the Sorceress. It can be used to heal the
whole party and stock them with food for later use. It can also be used during
boss fights for healing. I recommend maxing this skill and using it liberally.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total special skills): Uses 5, Food Generated 4
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total special skills): Uses 5, Food Generated 5
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total special skills): Uses 7, Food Generated 6

   Curse (Special Skill)

This spell will turn everyone in front of you into a frog. While a frog, they
will be harmless. Higher ranks will affect enemies even farther away. This
spell also works on elite enemies. Not a bad skill to get.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total special skills): Uses 5, 1 Pulse
rank 2 (3 SP, 0 total special skills): Uses 7, 2 Pulse
rank 3 (5 SP, 3 total special skills): Uses 9, 3 Pulse

   Petrification (Special Skill)

This spell will petrify all enemies looking at your direction. Note that elite
enemies will recover from this faster. Not a bad skill to get.

Use blizzard as crowd control during a boss that summon enemies. Use Rock Press
to stun enemies and do burst damage. You can create food during a boss and eat
when you get a chance. It's preferred to have a party of any kind to take full
advantage of moves like protection, create food, curse, and crowd control
spells.

             Wizard[DCCWI]
----------------------------------------

The main benefit of Wizard is slow and extinct. Slow is great because it works
on bosses. Extinct becomes useful in LoC with tough non-boss enemies.

The main drawback of Wizard is the reliance on mana. In order to use
his rod to attack or to evade, he needs to use mana. He can get more mana by
manually recharging it, by hitting enemies with square, or by killing enemies
after getting the Mental Absorb skill.

During the downtime while he is charging his mana, damage output is almost
non-existent which can be a pain.

Summary:
+Slow spell
+Extinct spell
+High fire damage
-Reliance on mana

      --------------

      --------------

   Magic

Mana is consumed to use their rod and to evade on the ground. In order to
recharge mana, you manually charge by holding square, attack the enemy with
square, or kill enemies while having the appropriate skill.

      ------

      ------

   Concentrate (Supplemental SKill)

This skill increases the rate of your manual charge. Since you'll be manually
charging all the time, this is a must max.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): MP Charge Speed +10%
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): MP Charge Speed +14%
rank 3 (1 SP, 3 total supplemental skills): MP Charge Speed +18%

rank 10 (5 SP, 12 total supplemental skills): MP Charge Speed +50%

   Extract (Supplemental Skill)

This skill will increase the amount of mana you get back when you use your
square attack. It recovers a decent amount of mana at max but I'd rather play
is safe and just charge manually which recovers at a similar rate.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): MP Recovered Per Hit + 5
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): MP Recovered Per Hit + 7
rank 3 (1 SP, 3 total supplemental skills): MP Recovered Per Hit + 9
rank 4 (2 SP, 3 total supplemental skills): MP Recovered Per Hit +11
rank 5 (2 SP, 6 total supplemental skills): MP Recovered Per Hit +13
rank 6 (3 SP, 6 total supplemental skills): MP Recovered Per Hit +15
rank 7 (4 SP, 9 total supplemental skills): MP Recovered Per Hit +20

   Mental Absorb (Supplemental Skill)

You gain mana whenever you get the killing blow on an enemy. I recommend
investing 1 SP into this.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): MP recovered +15
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): MP recovered +18
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total supplemental skills): MP recovered +21
rank 4 (3 SP, 3 total supplemental skills): MP recovered +24
rank 5 (5 SP, 6 total supplemental skills): MP recovered +30

   Spirit Up (Supplemental Skill)

This skill will increase your max MP. Since manual charging is by a percentage,
it also increases manual charge speed. This is a must max.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): Max MP + 30
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total supplemental skills): Max MP + 50
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total supplemental skills): Max MP + 70
rank 4 (3 SP, 3 total supplemental skills): Max MP +100
rank 5 (5 SP, 6 total supplemental skills): Max MP +150

   Fire Ward (Supplemental SKill)

Creates a magic circle in front of the Wizard. It will reduce fire damage
taken by half, increase fire damage taken by enemies inside the circle by the
specified amount, and spew weak homing fireballs. It will also allow the usage
of fire spells in water. This skill will mainly be used to boost fire damage. I
recommend maxing this spell. Note that you can only have 1 fire ward out at a
time.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total suppl skills): Use 3, Dur 15s, Fire Dmg +20%, Rnge 100%
rank 2 (3 SP, 3 total suppl skills): Use 5, Dur 20s, Fire Dmg +35%, Rnge 150%
rank 3 (5 SP, 6 total suppl skills): Use 7, Dur 30s, Fire Dmg +50%, Rnge 200%

   Blaze (Attack Skill)

Creates a fire that stays for quite a while constantly dealing decent damage.
When this is used with Fire Ward, it will do a lot of damage. I recommend
maxing this skill. Note that you can only have 1 Blaze going on at once.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): Uses 3, Power 25
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): Uses 4, Power 30
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total attack skills): Uses 5, Power 35
rank 4 (3 SP, 3 total attack skills): Uses 6, Power 40
rank 5 (5 SP, 6 total attack skills): Uses 9, Power 50

   Storm (Attack Skill)

This will create 3 storms that will spread and circle the area it was casted
in. It lasts awhile and deals decent damage and will stun most enemies. It's a
decent skill to invest in.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): Uses 3, Power 10
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): Uses 3, Power 12
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total attack skills): Uses 4, Power 14
rank 4 (2 SP, 3 total attack skills): Uses 4, Power 16
rank 5 (3 SP, 6 total attack skills): Uses 5, Power 18
rank 6 (3 SP, 6 total attack skills): Uses 6, Power 20
rank 7 (5 SP, 9 total attack skills): Uses 9, Power 25

   Flame Burst (Attack Skill)

Wizard will launch a bunch of big fireballs in the direction that he is facing.
It's a quick burst like the name suggests. The overall damage that this move
does isn't that great and enemies not close by won't even get hit by all the
fireballs. There are better crowd control moves such as storm and there are
better single target damage moves such as Blaze.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): Uses 3, Power 30
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): Uses 3, Power 35
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total attack skills): Uses 4, Power 39
rank 4 (2 SP, 3 total attack skills): Uses 4, Power 44
rank 5 (3 SP, 6 total attack skills): Uses 5, Power 45
rank 6 (3 SP, 6 total attack skills): Uses 6, Power 50
rank 7 (5 SP, 9 total attack skills): Uses 9, Power 60

   Thunderbolt (Attack Skill)

Causes a bunch of thunder around the Wizard. It has a good chance of causing a
stun. The drawback is that damage done is unreliable because sometimes the
thunder will miss the enemy even when they are right in the area where thunder
is hitting. While it does have a higher stun rate than Storm, Storm will last
longer and cover more area reliably.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): Uses 3, Power 40
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total attack skills): Uses 3, Power 46
rank 3 (1 SP, 3 total attack skills): Uses 3, Power 52
rank 4 (1 SP, 3 total attack skills): Uses 4, Power 58
rank 5 (1 SP, 6 total attack skills): Uses 4, Power 64
rank 6 (1 SP, 6 total attack skills): Uses 4, Power 70
rank 7 (1 SP, 9 total attack skills): Uses 5, Power 76
rank 8 (1 SP, 9 total attack skills): Uses 5, Power 82
rank 9 (1 SP, 12 total attack skills): Uses 5, Power 88
rank 10 (1 SP, 12 total attack skills): Uses 7, Power 110

   Meteor Swarm (Attack Skill)

After a long cast time (about 10 seconds!), damaging meteors will fall in front
of the Wizard. While damaging, the long cast time is a big drawback. You also
can't even move while you're casting. If your casting gets interrupted, you
have to start over. Of course there is also no guarantee that there will be
anybody where the meteor drops either. You can try this out for fun but it
won't be very practical.

rank 1 (3 SP, 0 total attack skills): Uses 3, Power 1200, Meteors 3
rank 2 (4 SP, 3 total attack skills): Uses 3, Power 1350, Meteors 4
rank 3 (5 SP, 6 total attack skills): Uses 3, Power 1500, Meteors 5

   Create Wood Golem (Special Skill)

When the Wizard presses square on a box or wooden object, it will turn into a
wood golem that fights for you. If you press square on a box while you still
have a golem, it will enhance that golem. Unlike the Sorceress's skeletons,
this wood golem is slow and weak to fire. I would not recommend this skill.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total special skills): Golem's lvl 50% of Player's, Enhance 0
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total special skills): Golem's lvl 60% of Player's, Enhance 1
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total special skills): Golem's lvl 70% of Player's, Enhance 2
rank 4 (3 SP, 3 total special skills): Golem's lvl 80% of Player's, Enhance 3
rank 5 (5 SP, 6 total special skills): Golem's lvl 100% of Player's, Enhance 3

   Levitation (Special SKill)

This skill will allow the Wizard to descend slowly while in the air. More
importantly, it will increase magic damage while the Wizard is in the air. This
skill should be maxed.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total special skills): Magic Damage +20% While in Air
rank 2 (3 SP, 0 total special skills): Magic Damage +35% While in Air
rank 3 (5 SP, 3 total special skills): Magic Damage +50% While in Air

   Slow (Special Skill)

This will create an area in front of the Wizard that slows time for all
enemies. The great thing is that it works on bosses too. This will greatly
increase the party's survivability and DPS. A must have skill.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total special skills): Uses 4, Range 100%, Slow Effect 60%
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total special skills): Uses 5, Range 105%, Slow Effect 65%
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total special skills): Uses 6, Range 110%, Slow Effect 70%
rank 4 (3 SP, 3 total special skills): Uses 7, Range 120%, Slow Effect 75%
rank 5 (4 SP, 6 total special skills): Uses 9, Range 130%, Slow Effect 85%

   Extinction (Special Skill)

This skill will instantly kill all non-boss enemies in front of the Wizard. Not
really needed until tough enemies deep into LoC which is where it really
shines.

rank 1 (1 SP, 0 total special skills): Uses 3
rank 2 (1 SP, 0 total special skills): Uses 4
rank 3 (2 SP, 3 total special skills): Uses 5
rank 4 (3 SP, 3 total special skills): Uses 6

      --------

      --------

Slow! Slow is the key to wizards. It makes so many bosses so much easier.

For DPSing bosses, use slow, fire ward, blaze, and an air charged fire ball to
deal a lot of damage.

For really tough non-boss enemies, use slow to gather them up and extinct them.
